I shop here a lot! I like the prices, and that I don't have to search and search like a regular thrift store. The workers usually aren't very friendly or engaging... which never really bothers me! I get that teen girls just kind of want to do their own thing. Today one of the workers totally shocked me. She was wearing a top that was split down the center and had strings of small beads connecting the two sides. That's kind of the best I can say to explain it! Her ENTIRE bra was exposed. Like I literally am just looking at her whole bra while talking to her. Wire and cups fully exposed. Everything. It was so strange, and made me really uncomfortable. I understand that there really isn't a dress code here. I have seen some prettyyyy inappropriate outfits from the workers here that I wouldn't even wear to the beach But this one was like totally beyond anything I have ever seen! She was just so exposed. And on top of that- extremely rude. Even when I was trying to joke and make small talk. Very unimpressed with her. Enough to write a review- which I never do! Went to check out the store for the first time yesterday afternoon and was completely ignored by the 2 young girls working. Never even acknowledged. Not a hello, welcome in NOTHING! After being told by my younger employees that this was a good place to take clothes for resale. I took a large bag of designer jeans of all kinds - Joe's, Paige, Hudson and True Religion. Some being brand new, some purchased within the last year and some older. I was rudely informed that it was all " out of date and they would not be taking anything ". Which is fine but if you look through the racks of the store there is not anything there to brag about or what I would call quality or " current date ". I tried selling some things here. When I went in, they were backed up and I was told they would process my things and text me later that day. I never heard back from them. Despite me leaving the correct and clear phone number on the form, they entered it incorrectly in their system, didn't bother to double check the form I completed, and just donated my things instead. I couldn't even get the items back. If they're not going to process your things with you in store, don't leave with them. They clearly can't handle accurate data entry, so don't leave your items with them. I won't even bother trying again. read more

Sadly, the manager sucks in this store. I was not given a 50% coupon and I told them that I didn't have it. The employee took my clothes up the counter and I said "OK that's fine" and I saw her talk to the mangerbut the manger did say anything so I thought it was fine. I was at the counter as I wait in line a very long line And it took me a long time to wait. Once I got to the counter, the store manager said without my coupon I can't get the 50% off. She should have told me that she does not honor it if I don't have a physical coupon earlier so I can sort out my items. ThatThat mean he looks so embarrassed and waste it so much of my time waiting. I should have already selected the clothes I didn't want if I we're not to get the 50% coupon I didn't have a problem doing that. The manger needs to go take customer service 101 course. I will never come back here to shop again. I've heard from someone too that this mangers don't know what she is doing. Seriously when she leaves then I will come shop at the store again. This was such a bad experience she should have let it go and give me the 50% without any big deal. If not I was ok too to not receive the %50 just let me know ahead of time. Not let her employee tell me it's ok and tell me last minute to think I was getting the %50. It's not like I am buying the whole store. They pretty much always have a group of (college?????) gossiping basic girls there (workers) talking about guys or drama, it's pretty annoying to listen to when you come in (pretty much all I can hear anyways) but the selection is OKAY, there's quite a bit of basic stuff that majority of younger people wear, (I'm 21) but the mens section is lacking as always, the clothes are very overpriced but I guess it's better than buying new if that's what you're into.... Overall it's decent, definitely avoid going there more than 1 time every 2 weeks because it's the same stuff, overpriced but with a fair selection. read more

The store manager here is disappointing. My son is a 3 year autistic boy who happened to ran behind the counter because he was curious, I told him "no" and the manager decided to yell at him which frighten him. Her reasoning was because he wasn't "listening" to me. It was not appropriate, professional, and she should of mind her own business. My son was not disturbing anyone, stealing anything, or destroying their property. As someone who is a manger she needs proper customer service training - it will help satisfy customer's expectations. I have a few complaints. The first time I went I bought a pair of true religion jeans. A bit over priced for used clothing but that doesn't matter. When I got home I realized the zipper was broken. Missing "teeth". They told me its as is no refunds. I almost tried on another pair of true religions while I was there, I gagged ! There was blood in the crotch area of the jeans. I should have took that as a hint not to buy the other ones ! My second time there wasn't to buy anything since I learned my lesson, but I went in to sell some jeans and a $800 leather jacket. All the jeans I had were designer. True religion, miss me, diesel, paper denim etc. A few were basically brand new. I bought them before I got pregnant. The others were worn but in good condition. They turned down every pair because of "holes" and they were children's sizes. I laughed ! Those holes were apart of the design, and not a single pair were children's sizes. They were all size 27 and up. They'll buy bloody and broken jeans but turned down all of mine! Not dealing with them ever again. Waste of time and if you're buying, a waste of money. read more

Would not recommend selling to this store simply because the store manager Megan is completely unprofessional & very rude, my wife asked her to speak to her boss, she told my wife that she would say that she was trying to sell stolen clothes & said she was banned from the store, even though my wife has been taking clothes there for probably 10 yrs., I called to talk to Megan & she put on an act for whoever was in the store as if I was yelling or cursing at her or something, proceeded to tell me if I didn't stop that she was going to hang up, which she did, even though I was trying to resolve the problem calmly with her, I called back & a polite man named Wes, that identified himself as the owner listened to what I had to say, said he would call me back, which he didn't do, Megan should definitely not be in a management position, she abuses her authority in that position, & absolutely has the owners of this business fooled as to what kind of person she really is.. read more

I've been shopping there with my teenage daughters for a few years now, but will definitely not be back ever again. If you are a parent do not expect to be treated with respect by the employees there. Outright encouraging my daughter to express herself in independence against the wishes of her mother is unacceptable even if it is pertaining to attire. Im a frequent shopper here for many years, I always spend well over $100 each time I shop here. I don't appreciate that the first words that came out of your workers were that your closing time in near; Instead of welcoming me to Clothing Revival. Your employees yesterday made me feel unwelcome and that I was an inconvenience arriving at Clothing Revival and being told every 5 minutes that the closing time is near and being glared at feeling pressured to just leave the store. Yet I still made my purchases. I support small businesses especially that many businesses with today's economy don't get much recognition. read more

I was very frustrated when i went into clothing revival the other day to drop off clothes. i walked in and the gal was sitting at the computer, didn't even acknowledge me. I had to ask her what to do if i'm selling clothes and she was still still at the computer and pointed and said "just fill that out" after i filled it out, i didn't know where to put my bag. i set it down and said "okay here it is" and she just looked over at me. i then asked "how long will it be?" she said "i don't know maybe 30 minutes" i left. NEVER did i get a call. I came in about an hour and a half later and they didn't take anything because of the "season" which i had summer things in there. i don't think she even went through the bag. That was the WORST experience i've had. I've sold my clothes multiple times to them a couple years ago. I guess things changed. read more

I came in with a tub of clothes to get rid of, most of which were in new to great condition and name brand. After nearly two hours of sorting though the clothes, they only offered to take a dress (new with tags), brand new purse, and shorts for $10. I was very displeased with the offer, the amount of time I waited, and how short the girls working were with me. I left with the feeling that they care much more about making a profit than helping their customers get "Cash for Clothes," as their huge banner reads. Save your time and sell elsewhere. read more

They have really cute clothing, but never bring your clothes here to sell. I had two bags full of incredible summer clothing (a few from Victoria's Secret) and they took ONE item that wasn't even a name brand and told me my clothes weren't in season yet. It's springtime, so that was a piss poor excuse. They also need to work on their customer service. Everytime I have gone in the girls working have been incredibly rude. Once a girl was on the phone with her boyfriend while I sat there at the counter waiting. Once I wanted to sell clothes and waited 2 hours for her and when I come back she's explains all these things she's not taking. Why didn't she tell me before hand knitted of wasting my time? I literally sat in my car for 2 hours. No PR skills. Will never return and have encouraged several people to not go there. This place was my absolute favorite. I loved being able to go and find Victoria secret PINK clothes there for 10-20$ versus 60-100$!!! I turned in my clothes and they may be a little more strict now, but when they first opened they took a lot more, they just need a bigger area because it can be pretty hard to shop when the racks are squished tight. While the clothes there are nice, their policy of accepting clothes is vague. When I took some nice barely used clothes they didn't accept them because they were out of style. Another problem was their lack of plus size clothing, it would be nice to have a more diverse size range. read more

The clothing revival never takes anything anymore. I tried to give them a pair of rock revivals that were in the same condition that they were when I bought them from them and they tell me they gave a stain on them well you sold them with the stain. They have a lot of clothes with stains and even food on them. I liked it when it first opened but not anymore. read more

This place sadly never has decent brands.it seems more of a teenager type place to shop(i'm 28).its a hit or miss of if i can find decent stuff,9 times out of 10 its a miss.they always have really young girls working there,sorting through clothes and maybe thats why the clothes are all teen looks.no good brands,all cheap stuff. i brought a friend of mine in here to sell clothes she was no longer wanting.the clothes were to die for.my friend is in her mid 20's and has tons of money to spend on all the designer clothing.i helped her bring in her to clothes to sell,she had gucci,marciano by guess,tons of bebe clothes,D&G,coach&LV purses,tons of custom made trendy bev hills boutique clothes,and tons of other big designer clothes.half of it still had tags on it.the young girls working behind the counter said they had never heard of those brands and couldnt take any of the clothes.my friend even offered most of them for 5 each,they still refused.thats the exact brands the store needs to carry,not a nuch of cheap wet seal&charlotte russe clothes. my gain though ,i got most of them&the rest we sold at a different consignment shop for much much more. read more

You guys are the most ridiculous place ever. Do you know how much money you guys have made off me??!!! Hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I came in today and and brought in a couple pairs of shorts and some flats (which look brand new) and a black leather a coach purse. Which I paid 400 dollars for originally. So the girl takes my stuff and looks at it with me standing there. I might add this girl had so much frickin make-up on that couldn't tell you what color skin she actually had. So she tells me she wouldn't be taking anything. And I said not even the coach purse. So the little pea bird brain she has try's to explain it why she is not taking It. She basically tells me she is not taking it cause inside the purse they was a tiny speck of a pen underneath the zipper. And a couple little things on the outside which I literally wiped off with my finger. Seriously? You guys have gotten so good at rippin people off. Cause let me tell you .... you are a used clothing store!!!!!!!!!!! The girl said it has to be perfect otherwise people will ask for 10 percent off since it has a mark.
