The girls working gossiped about other customers that called in and about their co workers loudly. Bare minimum customer service seemed forced and they are annoyed by basic questions. This store is a JOKE. A previous reviewer was spot on when she said she took her things in neatly folded and they returned them bunched up just shoved back into the bag. I went in last week with 8-10 pairs of like new men's Levi's 511s and 4 jackets (all of which were GAP & Micheal Kors)... they texted me about 25 mins later to day my clothes was ready for pick up. I got it back all bunched up just shoved in the bag. All they wanted out of everything was one of the MK jackets & they offered me a whole $10 for it . I said no thanks I'll just take it all back. Sold the jacket on Facebook marketplace already ... I didn't make a ton more but I would rather make an extra $10 than let them pay me $10 and sell it For 4-5 times as much. Stick to Poshmark or other online selling services - those shoppers low ball you, but not this bad. The person that helped me showed me a very small stack of items they would accept and offered me an amount that would have been fine to offload the 4-5 items on the counter...but they accepted a lot more than that and packed my box back in a way that looked just as full as when I brought it in. I've heard quite a bit about this store so I was pretty disappointed when I finally went. The inside is cute and the employees seemed okay but the prices were crazy. I was visiting as a shopper (not selling anything) and most of the shirts I found were between $10 and $25. If this were a new clothing boutique that would be pretty reasonable but they are a clothing reseller. I've found beautiful pieces for less at the Sacramento Goodwill. I understand they want to make money but what exactly is their target demographic? People looking for used clothes aren't going to pay that much when they can just get them new. Also I think I went at a bad time because I swear, everything was a half shirt, lol. Stock some full length shirts for us grown up ladies please! Came into town and took some brand new clothes that I've never worn to this place, I took about ten items and maybe like 4-5 were used a couple Times but the rest were in mint condition. I Waited 45 mins....the girl said she would call when it was ready and I had to go up to her and ask if my items were ready after waiting around and leaving the store to run an errand. She said they couldn't take any of my stuff and to next time make sure they don't have any strings on the dresses ......I walked around the store to look at the items they had and I thought by the look of the stuff they had they would definitely take mine! They have a lot of branded clothes that I didn't expect them to have...I go there all the TIME to get clothes' recommend going there to get clothes they organize the clothes from each color witch made it easy to find the clothes of the color I wanted! I went to Clothing Revival hoping I would make some money from selling my clothes to them. Well I went their with really expensive clothes. One of the items I brought their was a black pea coat used once and it was just about brand new and its original price was almost $200. I had a couple of other blouses that were all over $20. Everythibg I took their were practically brand new. So all in total they took 7 items and I ONLY RECIEVED $18?!?!?! I went their feeling really happy and I left their extremely furious! It's not used clothing.... it's used up clothing. I did not know that these guys were trying to change the dictionary definition of "REVIVED" to be synonymous with "DESTROYED" but they are trying! So for that, they get 1 star. This is an awful, dirty, and expensive store. I have been through this store 3 times and have been absolutely apalled by the condition of their merchandise. I saw items that were seriously worn out, old, and a lot of stuff that is just dirty. Not to mention, the prices! This place wants $18.00 for their used up/outdated hoodies, but they won't charge you extra for any that are covered in dog/cat hair (which is almost a requisite for putting stuff on these racks). Save yourself some time and money and shop elsewhere! Seriously, the Goodwill has nicer stuff at much lower prices, with friendlier staff. But, if you want to pay the kind of prices that this place charges, then just go to the mall and buy your stuff new. At least that way you will avoid being offended by these people. read more

This is one of my favorite places to shop in Yuba City! The employees are always super friendly, and the selection is great. I have sold clothes to them before and sometimes they pass on some items but it's usually because of wear or a some marks on them. I love that they look for style and they are a little bit picky, it separates them from the other thrift stores I've been to! I came in the other day with bags upon bags of clothes. All of them perfect condition (some with tags still) and even expensive perfect condition purses. They picked out 10 items. They took my MK wallet for $30, left the purse that matched it, and took random 9 pieces of clothes for $7. It was extremely frustrating because I carried every single bag in with a 22 pound baby on my hip and they just watched me walk in and out, sweating like crazy and struggling. Then I had to carry it ALL back to my car. Same exact situation. But they almost kept all of my stuff if I didn't ask for them back. Never going back there. Honestly, after many unsatisfied visits to this store, I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But after my most recent visit, I can no longer do that. I often sell my unused clothes here. I used to be a stylist at Nordstrom and quit my job 6 months ago, for school, and since then, I've been cleaning out the hoards of clothes that I never wear since my job at Nordstrom. I make sure to only bring by items that are resell-able (items lightly worn, on trend) because I don't want to waste my time or theirs. They usually buy most of my clothes, however they buy so cheap! I bring in designer brands, Nordstrom brands, and they buy for little to nothing. And lately they have been buying for less and less (probably because they have a lower budget because people don't shop there anymore). Another thing I have to add is that they have stolen items from myself, and two of my friends. There is one particular employee who is terrible and is the one who was working when my items were stolen, and my friend's. They stole a brand new swimsuit from me with the tags on it and the panty liner in it. They stole a pair of Miss Me's from one friend, and a top from another. I have come to sell my clothes since these incidences because like I said before, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I honestly can't anymore. The clothes on their racks are ugly and worn, the only clothes they post on their social media are the ones they buy from wholesalers, the store is a mess and short-staffed, the employees (especially the girl I mentioned) are all snotty and rude, and THEY STEAL. So I would recommend selling clothes and shopping elsewhere because this store is horrible. Hopefully the staff at Clothing Revival sees this and can make some much needed changes *** Update: Oh, I was just scrolling through my camera roll and totally forgot about another odd experience at good 'ole clothing revival. Here's the background story: I bought a dress from Nordstrom and accidentally put it in the dryer and it shrunk. I couldn't quite part with the "dress" because I loved the beading at the neckline, so I decided to cut it into a shirt.... which resulted in a hack job. So I threw the shirt in get-rid-of pile that my sister went through. For some reason she decided to try and sell at good 'ole clothing revival. THEY FREAKING BOUGHT IT AND SOLD IT ON THEIR RACKS FOR $8!!! I don't understand why they're so badly rated, I went in today and had 2 boxes of clothes, they took 1 box of clothes and I received a generous amount, I was expecting less. The first girl I dropped my stuff to was really nice and friendly and when I went back in to pick my money up the second girl wasn't very friendly at first but when I started talking to her she was sooo sweet. The store is really clean and it was a huge plus that whatever I didn't want they'd donate to the cancer society. When I had taken my stuff in I had taken them folded and cleaned and in containers, I think that makes a huge difference versus a garbage bag which maybe that's why people were upset about not cashing much stuff? They took three items that was all brand new that retailed almost $100, and gave me back $11... so basically $3.75 per item. Your better off selling on Facebook.
