Several vendors sell similar things. There is produce, children's toys, clothing, tools, furniture, plants, some electronics. It felt a bit like a free for all. There didn't seem to be much organization in where the vendors go except all the produce vendors were in one place. So you'll spend some time wandering around. For food there were some Mexican food trucks, Lee's Chinese and American food (x2), an ice cream cart, and Agua Fresca. We got one medium agua fresca and a bottle of water ($9 total). It was fun to check out but I probably won't come here regularly unless I know I'm in search of something very specific like produce or tools.

Parking is 5 bucks but there is also street parking behind where you exit if you don't want to pay (as a lot of people do). I will say if you're here earlier in the day, it's def is crowded but around 1pm and beyond it tapers off. Beware - the chicken sticks are HUGE from the vendor by the entrance. One plate of chow mien and 4 sticks for 2 of my siblings and I and it a lot even for us! Thankfully my nephew came around and demoed the rest of our food so nothing was wasted. And yes they were yummy.

We're frequent visitors during the summer months and really enjoy walking around, getting some exercise, and browsing the different booths. Parking is generally plentiful, both in the main lot and along nearby side streets, though it's worth noting that during the spring and summer months it can get very busy and parking may be more challenging. One of our favorite things is buying fresh fruits and vegetables, and many vendors are generous with free samples. The flea market is open only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but it's absolutely worth the drive from Lodi for us to explore the vendors and score some great deals.

When you walk in there is a sign on the door that says if an item doesn't have a tag then you can't buy it. And there is a security guard at the front door. I found lots of good deals. The most expensive item I bought was a winter coat for $17.23. It was in a size small and it fit perfect. It has a mickey mouse motif and mickey ears attached. I found a Las Vegas Raiders jersey, boys XL, which fit me perfect $12.92. It was new with out tags. I also found a SF Giants T Shirt that looked new. I found some other black tops, long and short sleeve. I found the cutest red minnie mouse sweatshirt but it was too short, too back because it was perfect. They also have lots of more expensive items mixed in. Such as Kings and Giants Jerseys. All well over $35. Compared to the teams stores it's still a good deal, but out of my price range for this shopping spree. These items are cheaper at the Goodwill Bootique in downtown Sacramento. I know because I've purchased several jerseys there. Everything is well organized by size and type of merchandise. They have long racks of clothing and a good variety of sizes. They have a rack of short sleeve tops, another rack of long sleeve tops, dresses, formal dresses, jackets, athletic tops, ect. Everything is so well sorted. They have colored tags on the merchandise. Each day they have different sales depending on the color of the tags 25%, 50%, and 75%. I only had a couple of the 25% off items. For those 2 items I saved $5.07. So for 5 items I paid $46.31. On average $9.26 each. Not a bad day Thrifting. Checkout is all self-serve. It's quite odd, but they have a lot of registers and someone helping out. They graciously took my coat and found a tag on it without me asking, which was great because I didn't even see it. I did see it on the Raiders jersey I bought and they removed that after I scanned it in to pay for it. They also have some new merchandise by the entrance of the store, those are not so good deals.

Spent my morning strolling through the Old Sutter Creek Fleas Market where I found just what I was…read morelooking for (small metal outside table for $5) and two other things I just couldn't resist. I bought a ceramic rabbit for my garden and a cast iron bird bath! Treasures to me and very inexpensive, too. The quality goods there can't be beat with no imported bundles of new socks nor other low quality new goods. AND it was FUN! Even if I hadn't found anything to buy, the vendors were gracious and informative about their goods. It's clean and welcoming and has that wonderful small town atmosphere. I've been to many flea markets, but this one is the best! There were even classic cars there to see which took me back to my childhood.
