Unfortunately, he was sick the day of his photos so we were able to reschedule for the week after. That's how we ended up at USF Marshall Center which wasn't on my radar at all for pictures. She sends information about parking, etc. ahead of time so I felt very prepared for the day. Her pricing is extremely reasonable. Photos can be expensive, we've done photos for every major milestone so I've seen prices that are all over the place. Kimberly has an array of pricing options that fit many different price points. Our session was 20 minutes, which is perfect for young children. I really appreciate that she has the couple take photos alone as well. When you have children, it's easy to lose yourself as part of a family. I really treasure the photos of just myself and my husband. The gallery was ready for view within a couple days and after we picked our favorites her turnaround time was extremely speedy as well. Needed to bite the bullet and renew my US Passport. Went to Walgreens and omg the Photos were…read morehorrible! So bad that I couldn't deal with looking at for 10 years - let alone showing other countries' customs agents everytime I travel. The real likelihood that my photos would get rejected as well made me decide to see about getting a professional photographer to take them. I didn't even care about cost at that point - I just wanted pictures that met the requirements and looked like me. Kevin was quick to reply to my emails about his studio services and suggested I made an appointment which I did for the following afternoon. I showed up at my appointment time, Kevin let me in and apologized for finishing up with a walk-in. No big deal. After only about 2-3 minutes he was ready for me. Let me check myself in a floor mirror first, walked me into his studio, made me feel at ease with his personable and relaxed photog chat got a few shots done in less than 3 minutes. We looked at them and selected the best one - honestly except for the one I shut my eyes on all of them were very good. He printed them, I paid him. Chatted a couple minutes and I was out the door with great passport and CCW photos. The price was almost identical to Walgreens and I looked like me - not an angry old woman with raccoon eyes and a chip on her shoulder (not even close to what I look like in real life!). I was so happy I've showed everyone my photo and everyone is jealous they didn't think of that for theirs! Lol. I will definitely recommend Kevin Newsome Studios for your passport, visa, permit photos - don't try to be slick and go for A cheapy place that doesn't know their stuff and risk hating your photos or worse having them rejected by the State Department. While doing my search, I found that her pricing was a tad bit higher than the other photographers, but her reviews were much better so we went with her and we were not disappointed. She was definitely worth every single penny. During our maternity shoot, she made me feel extremely comfortable. I normally don't like my picture taken, and I thought the whole thing would be super awkward but Tiffany made it an easy and fun experience. During our newborn shoot, our daughter was just over a week old. My boyfriend kept calling Tiffany the baby whisperer because every time our daughter started to get fussy, Tiffany was able to calm her down instantly. She had great photo ideas and lots of props to choose from. She also had a nice seating area for us to sit in and watch the session with snacks and drinks. It was definitely a great atmosphere.
