Next time, we know what to expect however the staff were friendly and hospitable . I ordered the wings and fries, and must say ... those wings were some of the best wings I ever had . I've been to this spot several times with my husband on different occasions and always had a great time. I even spoke with the manager a while back about renting the venue for a birthday party because the atmosphere and vibe were always good. Unfortunately, our experience this past Friday 6/26/26 was very disappointing. My husband and I took our daughter and her boyfriend there to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived, the security guard informed us that the air conditioning wasn't working, but there was still a $10 cover charge per person for the four of us. I even asked if they were still charging a cover despite having no A/C, and he said we can just go in. Once inside, we ordered one hookah since only my daughter and I planned to smoke. After waiting about 15 minutes for the hookah, security came in roughly 30 minutes later and announced they were shutting down at 11:48 p.m. because of the lack of air conditioning, even though there were still other customers inside relaxing and smoking. To make matters worse, when my husband paid the bill, we were charged $80 for the cover charges and one hookah, even though there was no air conditioning and we were forced to leave after only about 30 minutes. It was disappointing to pay full price for such a short and uncomfortable experience. I expected much better, especially as someone who has supported this establishment in the past. Cloud factory had a dope vibe. Went on a Friday night with a friend and had a really good time! There was music played connected from one of the workers phones until the DJ came that night. (We got there early when it opened). Music was straight from new school to old school. It's a hole in the wall so nothing fancy about the place, just go chill and have a good time with friends. It's BYOB so you not spending $$$ on watered down drinks all night. (You made that weak drink!) The hookahs were standard regular hookahs, the staff was working well to get coals replaced and rotated. I was a customer of this place on a Saturday night, where it was pretty packed. 30 minutes into my time being here i and my friend were thrown up on by another customer. It was a very uncontrolled atmosphere. Someone else threw up on us from being too drunk. No one from the establishment even came over to apologize to us, or better yet help us get someone else's VOMIT off of us. We had to get our own napkins and sit by this vomit for at least 10 minutes. When we went to leave, we were also overcharged, and they charge $5 per person to BYOB. No one from management apologized to us about having someone else vomit on us until we complained. Cloud Factory, a recent entrant to the Philadelphia Shisha scene is one of the best lounges in the city in my opinion. Within a week, I introduced this place to a couple of other friends, fellow hookah aficionados who were quality appreciative of this place. They do not have an expansive food menu like some of the other hookah bars, but they make a fine shisha. The cafe is BYOB, so you do have an option to pair your shisha with drinks of your choice. Probably the worst service I've ever experienced with a hookah lounge. The people were beyond rude when we walked in, didn't greet us or anyrhing. After walking in and asking about seating and details, he told us we had to buy at minimum 3 hookahs when there was 5 of us. On top of that, I called before we went and they never told me anything, just said that since we are buying food and what not our accommodation could be made. Literally so rude and misleading, wasted time and money going there just to walk out due to its bad service. Great ambience, recently opened lounge with a great feel, vibe and music to it. A definite must see when in Philadelphia and a sure fire way to get some calm and ease after a long, tough day at work, or if you're just travelling in the city for pleasure or business, it's also a great place to be able to get work done when the need arises. As far as the drinks, the lassi is a great touch not usually found at a hookah bar, so it was a great sight to see. This place was awful! They should not have kids running the front. I came with my friend and we were waiting for two more friends and they told us we had to pay before they got there and had to choose their hookah flavors without them! They charged us $130 for 3 hookahs and we tipped an extra $30 and they gave us the worst service! We asked them to switch our coals an hour in and they never did, an hour later we asked again and they told us we had to leave because we could only be there for 2 hours. Why wasn't this said to us when we get there? The hookah was good but this rating is strictly for the service! I had the opportunity of celebrating a birthday at Cloud with a large group of friends. I worked with Vicky (owner) who was a pleasure to work with! He was super communicative, respectful and willing to do what was needed to ensure that the time spent at his establishment was great. We had a group of 11 and all of our needs were met- from being comfortable to fresh coals, cleaning our hookah to drinks and snacks.
