Great time and vibes at Mirage Lounge. It's South street so be prepared to possibly walk a good distance; parking can be horrific. My group of ladies had a section in the back room. The Hookah is a little on the strong side however, enjoyed it and they have an extensive selection of flavors to choose from. My Coals were refreshed throughout the duration of our time at Mirage. The Food, drinks and service were okay and priced reasonably. The owner provided us all with free shots; which was extremely kind of him. It's unusual to charge a cover on weekdays for more than $5, especially when the drinks and food are reasonably priced. However, the great vibe, music, and attentive servers make it worthwhile. I personally don't enjoy sitting all the way in the back, but I chose to sit at the bar, and Serenity provided quick and excellent service. Came to Mirage on Saturday night ( November 17) for me and a friends birthday. We arrived around 9:30. Cover charge was 10.00, no dress code was enforced and two people in our party wore sneakers. Some tables are reserved so you have to wait to be seated by a hostess. We had a nice comfortable section in the large main room, very good for groups but they also have a bar and seating areas for couples. The ambiance was definitely what I was looking for. Very chill, cool light effects and the DJ was on point- hip hop and some old school R&B for good measure. The hookah flavor we chose was good but the food was hit or miss. We had chicken fingers which were fried nicely but had no flavor without the dipping sauces. The fried shrimp we're nothing short of what is in your local super markets freezer but the fries were surprising good and plentiful. I also loved, loved that they give you an ice cold cafafe of water, so underestimated. There was some problems with the check at the end of the night. We had two separate checks for a party of five and it was not distributed correctly. Management didn't compromise and told us to reconcile amongst ourselves. And remember they take their tip off the top before you calculate giving more. read more

I came here with my friend for her birthday. This place seems cool. We got a section it is a bit overpriced but you're paying for the outing and the service so not really. The service was great. They refilled the hookah often and checked on us regularly throughout the night. We got the 3 bottle 3 hookah package for $800 this is all post pandemic. (If that's a thing) the bathroom was cool nothing special. The decor is nice definitely a vibe. The DJ did his thing. Played all types of hip hop music. All in all i had a great night. Beautiful place with terrible staffing! I went here on my sister's birthday with her friends because we needed a chilled spot to have a good meal and smoke some hookah. First of, the food was absolutely tasteless. I had the mirage platter and the only good thing on my plate was the flat bread and the lamb chops although it was half fat & half lamb. Secondly, the jasmine rice that was a side on my platter had no salt whatsoever or spice. The lady that attended to us was very respectful but the other staffs were nothing to write home about! They were not willing to attend to us even when our server wasn't around and rudely gave responses when asked. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone that wants to have a good time. read more

Food is incredibly overpriced, and they give you little sauce cups. I asked for another, and the bartender lied straight to my face saying that they ran out of it. So you just happen to give me the last of it a couple minutes prior to me asking for another? I proceed to ask for ketchup instead and she speaks to another worker there, who then comes up to me saying that they already put the sauces away. It's just small BS like this that makes me not want to come back to these places of business. I came here on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. I found the event online and thought to give the day party a try. One thing I will say is from the outside it's hard to tell what it is because the sign is awkwardly placed super high in the air. So if you're walking past it you probably would think the place isn't open for business‍. I had the bottomless mimosa which was $25 plus tax. Now there's two kinds of bottomless I've seen lol. One where you have a glass and they fill it once it looks almost done until time is up. This place makes a pitcher with your drink and that's how they re up your mimosa. Short cut to what I'm use to but okay‍. The atmosphere was nice and a breath of fresh air to see and the service was okay. We came for a day party Sunday afternoon. The service here was terrible, the server mixed up serval drink orders in my party as well as at other tables. One drink even had a bug in it so we had to send it back. The food was horrible. We ordered cheesesteak rolls (received buffalo chicken rolls and sent it back) tasted like a microwaved pot pie. I came here with a group of friends for brunch on a Sunday. Service was really great, they were very attentive. Brunch menu was very brunch-y but it has a good amount of options. Food was bland not much seasoning, but the fries were really good! Bottomless mimosas are $25 a person & the drinks were flowing! Honestly I expected it to be better. The building was completely packed in the front sections so we went to sit in the back. We ordered two drinks and a hookah, while waiting for the hookah we were moved to squeeze next to a long group of people in a seat. We then asked about the hookah given we were moved and still waiting just to be told it was never even put in for us to get a hookah. We were so uncomfortable feeling cramped in we asked to move back to the back which was okayed and we moved back ( it was pointless and unnecessary). It felt as though simple things were made to be overly complicated. Once we went back our hookah finally came this is about a hour and a half into our night here. We were then told we cannot order any more drinks from the back bar and had to go get them ourselves from the front bar. I had spilled a drink on myself and was told they don't have any napkins and to go to the bar to try to find some. (Basically a serve yourself lounge). The servers were dead chilling smoking hookah and eating most of the time. Our area was still packed come 2am but we are the only ones being asked to leave twice. We were just finishing our drinks that we paid for. The second guy acted as tho it was okay for us to finish our drinks just for another man to come over and remove the hookah hose from our hookah and took the hookah, that we waited forever for, and left the hose. We ended up finishing our drinks and leaving. I'd also advise you to check your receipt before paying as they attempted to charge us for two hookahs even tho the first order was never received. I wish I could give this place a zero. My friends and I visited from New York and was looking for a place to hang out. Upon arrival the security guard with the blonde tip dreads was very aggressive and insinuated we would not be able to afford the section which was only $200. The manager ran over as if we were causing a scene and when we said that's actually a great price they then proceeded to greet us nicely and took us to our table. The service was slow and mediocre and they gave us a broken hookah and we had to ask twice to switch it. 10 minutes before closing we were waiting for the waitress to close out our check and in the process a security guard came and said we needed to leave we explained to him that we just received a drink and wanted to finish it and that we were waiting for the rest of our party who was using the restroom to leave he then said to me that I could calm down when I never raised my voice nor was I being rude I was just explaining to him that I just received my drink and that it was still 10 minutes until the losing time. I explained to him that I was offended by what he said and he just walked away. We were waiting outside the establishment for our Uber and was told by the same security guard with the blonde tip dreads to quiet down so we don't upset their neighbors when we were just speaking amongst ourselves. As we walked away another party was laughing outside the establishment loudly and no one said a word. I would recommend to look for another spot with nicer employees and security. read more

However, our server who started off rude and disinterested became better as the night went on, said that they were out of a few ingredients for mojitos. I ordered a $15 long island iced tea (which wasn't listed on the menu). The first one was good but the second was pure juice. $15 worth of juice. The nerve of those people to cheat me! Towards the end of the night (midnight), the crowd started to pick up and become more crowded which made our drinks and check take longer to come. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the restaurant had a good feel (aside from half the bathroom stalls being out of order). I ordered the chicken kabob which was amazing.
