One of my favorite parts was being able to load everything into the stroller right in the parking lot instead of juggling kids and bags just to get into the park to rent one. At the end of the day, it was just as easy--I could roll everything back to the car, unload, and head out without the usual hassle of carrying tired kids and all our stuff. The stroller itself was in perfect, like-new condition and made getting around the park so much more comfortable. Let's be honest, though...it is far more convenient to make a few bucks in one place in an hour than spend two days hosting a garage sale and haggling over 50 cents for a used onesie or navigating no-shows for your countless online listings. They give you the option of a check for their $$ offer or you can get store credit. Sort through the items that have been sitting lonely in my attic and hand me money? Yes, please! The staff is friendly and helpful and the store well-organized. With growth spurts galore for young kids, I love OUAC for play clothes and often find brand new clothes with tags. I am always surprised by a few items with holes and stains, but it is on the buyer to inspect each item closely prior to purchase since you know upon entry that most items are used condition. I don't need to buy clothes with holes already in them...my kiddos can create those on their own in .2343 seconds of use. :-)

Before we even planned on buying anything, we sat for about 20 minutes just talking to the shop owners. These people were unbelievably nice. We talked to the gentleman about Cades Cove and he told us the story of how he ended up visiting Gatlinburg and never leaving. We then spoke with the lady and just talked about our puppies for a while. We then bought a food bowl for our puppy and it came out super awesome. Personally, we thought the experience was very relaxing and fun. We will definitely be heading back on our next trip!!
