I have to say, her photography was one of the things I was looking forward to the most in getting married. As soon as we saw her photo in our venue catalog (when touring the venue), we knew we had to get married at that venue with the same photographer-- we booked her and the venue that same day. The photos she takes just feel light, bright, airy, and happy. And let me tell you, I've looked at other photographers' photos, but none could compare to the vibe Olivia's gives off. She is so WORTH IT. She's like a magician with her photos and just has a really great artistic eye! When we finally got married so many things went wrong (I wasn't wearing my wedding jewelry, I forgot to fix the ribbon of my bouquet, STRESS lol), but honestly you couldn't tell anything was wrong in the pictures! She came to the venue on time, advised us on timeline prior, and also was just a calming presence. Like I said, she's a freakin' magician who takes AMAZING photos. On the day of, I was nervous if things were going to fall into place, but Annie, our photographer, shared her location with me and arrived early in just the spot I wanted. They were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, so we got to know them over the course of the year leading up to our wedding in August 2025. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. That said, Union Visuals handled the situation very well and immediately replaced the photographer. They also had no problem complying with COVID protocols. As far as the photography itself, Oleg was our photographer and you could tell he was trying hard to do a good job. He showed up early to set up and did not charge us for that time. The pictures came out great and he and his assistant were very personable and easy to work with. For the engagement photos, this was back in November 2023. She was already there when we arrived. Zach and I both felt so awkward and nervous since this was our first photo shoot, but Anna worked her magic and did her best to help us relax for the entire session.
