A real upper class indian fine dinning restaurant . Eeewww it sounds so snobby but true. Anyway the first thing you will notice is the massive entrance through a giant door to another closed door entrance which will lead to the restaurant space. Great job with each and minor detail of decor from floor tiles to bar setting. Very lavishly decorated. Our party was quite boring with an elderly person so we sticked to very basic indian paneer and chicken items on the menu but anyone else can enjoy the variety they have. Equally amazing were the deserts. As beautiful as were there names so was the presentation of each desert. Good collection of drinks and a very informative booklet is a submenu explaining many drinks and dishes content. Very nice music and extraordinary hospitality. I must say the place has a style statement. Cheers to the owner

The decor and interior was very nice. The presentation style was awesome. However food left a little more to be desired. This restaurant has so much potential to be great. But the lack of freshness of food threw that off. The food just felt either stale or pre prepped. the good stuff: The drinks tasted great! the presentation was great. I enjoyed the parlor tricks with the drinks and food. Presentation was great. The bad: Our whole dining experience was less than 1 hour from appetizers to drinks to mains. We skipped dessert. Food just came out so fast that there is no way it was fresh. We would order and 2 mins later there it is. And you could feel the lack of freshness. The pappad tasted stale. The chutneys were great. The lamb was a little on the tougher and gamier end (again did not taste fresh). The chicken also did not taste fresh out of the oven. Felt reheated. This place has a very high potential of being great (5 stars) if they would just focus on food quality.

My new favorite fancy Indian restaurant in Surrey! I had an absolutely delicious meal at Clove and will be returning the next time I'm in Surrey. We ordered the avocado chaat as an appetizer and it was quite tart and spicy. Our favorite was the butter chicken. We were too full for dessert but will definitely have to try their interesting desserts next time. The restaurant had very nice decor and a warm ambiance. The only complaint I had was that my cocktail was a bit strong and not as flavorful as I had hoped.

This drink was good. Ginger, lemon sparkling drink.

We have been to this place twice, the first time it was for dinner, food and cocktails were very good. The interiors look very modern yet indian. There was live indian music playing, but it was super noisy to have a quiet dinner. We had ordered some curries, Chilli cheese Naan and peshawar naan, all of it tasted extremely favorful. The service was quick and prompt even tho it was crowded that day. The second time was during lunch, and we ordered the same menu as we were driving from Seattle and craving for good food. The food taste was not consistent to the last time. It was pretty disappointing. I am not sure if I would try again specially with so many choices in vancouver. For the price and ambience, their food flavor could be improved a lot.

I finally got a chance to try Clove with my co-workers for a holiday lunch. And my! What a beautiful restaurant! The decor is elegant and inviting. I ordered the Afghani Lamb Masala and it was delicious. The portions looked a little small to me, but was surprised to find a good amount of meat and was filling. The sauce was creamy and so full of flavour, and paired well with their garlic naan and basmati rice.

After being told by many of my friends about this place, We decided to try it out. The furst thing we noticed was great interior decor.. A truly fine dining feel. Only one concern was the Separators due to CoVID were too close and made it hard to get in or out of table. Drinks were unique and nice but not as good as I was expecting But when it came to food, the menu was very different from a typical Indian Restaurant. The dishes are unique and excellent. But each and every dish was excellent and tasty. Overall, Excellent place, great food and amazing ambiance. Will surely be back.h

Gulam Jamun Cheesecake - Delicious, unique & not overly sweet.

Good food, great atmosphere & good service. Only complaint would be that the dish ware used for the meals didn't retain heat so the food would cool down too quick/would get cold midway through eating. Food however tasted good, nice flavours, unique combinations and interesting/delicious twists on drinks and desserts. Naan were light and airy, and the different sabji's tasted delicious. The drinks were unique, but hit and miss as the one i got the spicy mango pineapple drink had a lot of ice, no flavour and the jalapeno didn't mesh well with the drink. Would recommend, enjoyed this and definitely felt like a upscale dining experience due to the attention and details put into the decor & overall experience for customers.

Clove is fairly new, decided to check it out. It is an upscale Indian restaurant. The food tasted amazing, and presented very nice. The ambience was good. Service was also very good but was slow at times. Appreciated that they had sanitizer at all the tables. Overall experience was excellent, would highly recommend it!

Had heard a lot about Clove from friends, but never got a chance to visit since it opened. Finally the day, out of blue we are here. The food is really good, especially Prawn Ghee Roast. I usually prefer a lot spicier but this was well done too. The chutney's that are given with Assorted Papad plate is to die for. Even after over eating on the main course, we were gutsy enough to order the dessert, Aam Papad. Well the name is deceiving. If you are a mango lover as I, you are definitely to fall in love with the dish. It's technically four desserts in one. Aam Papad stuffed with burfi, Vanilla Ice-cream, Mango Rasmalai..

First time going to this newly opened restaurant. Interior was clean and sophisticated. The music was too loud for comfort, making it difficult to hear the server and others. We ordered drinks which were ok, they were too sweet and not enough alcohol. The appetizers and mains were delicious. The butter chicken did throw us off because they add the sauce to the chicken in front of you. The chicken to sauce ratio was disappointing, needed more sauce. Overall, great experience and will definitely be going back soon.

It is the worse hard liquor I have ever bought. Lavender?? No, just some slightly amber gin that I can't even mix with anything. Whitley Niell makes a great Parma Lavender Gin that I first tried in a cocktail in Portsmouth UK. It isn't sold in Canada anymore unfortunately and was only for a short period. That was the reason I snapped up the Roots and Wings gin but I am resigned to using it for cleaning. I did try some of their other products and only the Abisnstine impressed me. I would have loved to have given a great review of their liquor but that wasn't possible. Drinking their cocktails is a different thing as they have a great mixologist. My advice- visit them, get a sample before buying, and buy only what tastes good to you. Everyone has different tastes.

I was the only there since it was 1pm on a Monday after all. Was about to grab to an Old Fashion after looking at their online menu, but was then told that they did flights so that's what I got. The flight; You choose six from a list of about 15. They do primarily vodka, but they do have some whiskey, gin, and even am Absinthe. I was very happy with all 6 and would order them again. I won't really go into any detail about each spirit since everyone has their own preference when it comes to alcohol. What I can say is that their Old Fashioned Spirit was my favorite. The service: The person working at the time was really friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions about the spirits and make recommendations. The distillery: It's small and due to Covid Protocols they're only accepting 6 people in the building; however, they have a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. Their pick-up truck bar is the most eye catching so that's where we sat. I'd 100% come back here and if I lived in Langley I'd probably make this place one of my go to hangouts.

Our group came to the restaurant during Happy Hour time, so upon walking in and checked in, we were seated pretty quickly. We sat at the booth section versus the bar area and the booths are really spacious to where even sitting with 3 people on one side, you still have a bit of wiggle room. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very eccentric, positive vibes but the lighting was pretry dim that we had to use our flash light every so often. Service-wise, our waitress was professional, positive, efficient and seemed like she was pretty new to this but was doing great! She provided us water and took our drink order a couple minutes after. Upon bringing our drinks, we were ready to order and she quickly took our order. After ordering, it was not long before our food came out, within 5-10 minutes and the waitress frequently checking up on how we were doing. Really great service in the end! The food that was provided to us was really good! The Chicken Gyoza was bomb, very flavorful and was not dry, as you might think. When biting in, the juices of the chicken melts in your mouth and wanting more. The Hot wings was definitely way too hot for me, as I am not a spicy food person, but my family loved the hot wings a lot. The Sweet Thai Chili wings was very good itself and surprisingly not that spicy but just that sweet kick and VERY juicy in texture and flavor. Lastly, the Snacker Nachos was very cheesy, not dry in flavor and adding the Tandoori Chicken in, made it even better to where me and my family just wanted more of the tandoori chicken! Overall experience for us was great, especially for first impressions, the service was exceptional and food was fulfilling! Would recommend this restaurant for casual and party gathering, if wanting to having a relaxed and fun time.
