    PBR And Tullamore Dew Special
    Steve A.

Fun and relaxing drinks only bar. It's a place for having a good time but for those not getting too stupid about it. Clover is a sports bar but it's not one of those bro places, as it seems most people are too calm and collected. Good place for watching a game. There's a TV on almost each wall it seems. A few times being here and it seems like a laid back bar. It was the weekend the last time here and it wasn't even that crowded. This isn't like the crap sports bars you get in Wrigleyville. Actually has pretty good prices. They have a few specials. Most notably is the main one. The All Day Every Day Special is $9 for a PBR and a Tullamore Dew shot. Has pretty good prices on most beers. They also make pricier cocktails if you would rather get those. Basically it's kind of a classier but still casual sports bar. It's also a place if you're Iowa fans. There's not really any food but they have free popcorn and you can bring in some from The Dawson or wherever.

Ceci and Amanda are the most friendly bartenders in the West Loop! When we want to go someplace fun and consistent, we come see our girls! Also, it's dog friendly so who doesn't love that?

This is a great place to watch a game and play darts. The bartenders were really cool. I asked one of them to make me a sweet drink and they made me a cool drink that looked like cotton candy and it tasted really good. So they can make drinks that aren't the typical bar drinks as well! They were also quick to get us new drinks. You didn't have to wait at the bar for 20 min.

******************** 1547 ******************** I was having dinner next door at The Dawson and came here with some local friends/chefs. Love key bar, two separate room, good beers selection, decent price, just don't order wine here :-) Although, it was a generous pour, thank you to my bartender! Service was good even on a weekend night. There's a billiard table, shuffleboard, and dart to play with your friends. It's definitely a good place to watch sports as they have plenty of TVs throughout the bar. They also have daily special such as these, you can't beat that! Thursday Special: All Day $8 PB&J (16oz PBR can and shot of Jameson), $5 Tullamore Dew Happy Hour 5-8pm $2 Domestic Beers Sunday Special: All Day $8 PB&J (16oz PBR can and shot of Jameson), $5 Tullamore Dew $15 Domestic Buckets Happy Hour 5-7pm $2 Shots It's a chill and sport bar but really happening on the weekend.

    Beautiful thing

Iowa Bar!!! Gamedays are real fun with a raffle at halftime where you can win some pretty sweet prizes. Service is great and staff is friendly. Free self-serve walking taco bar brings me back to IC... Wide selection of beers and they serve food from the adjacent restaurant. LET'S GO HAWKS!!

Great spot with small but good beer selection. Pool, darts, shuffleboard, jenga, and free popcorn. Always a fun time when I visit Chicago.

The sausage was very tasty, the breading on the outside was incredibly crisp, light, and the egg inside was cooked well. Both the steak pie and the chicken pie were very good. The chicken pie I think really needed the chutney that you can get separately. But that made it so much better and made it my preferred pie. The steak and ale pie was better than the chicken pie as a standalone, but needed a bit more gravy I think to elevate it. Sticky toffee pudding again was delicious. Surprisingly light, not overly dense so I was glad it came with the custard which was very flavorful. Overall, will definitely return!

We ordered the Steak & Ale Pie (crowned with mash and gravy) and the Chicken Balti Pie. Both were delicious, but I think crowning the steak pie was definitely the right call. The chicken balti actually reminded me of the Taiwanese curry pastries (咖喱角) I grew up eating, which was a fun surprise. Very flavorful, and although the pies look kind of small at first glance, they are surprisingly filling. We also ordered the pickled egg -- basically a hard boiled egg with vinegar flavor. Tasty, though probably the most "normal" item we had. One unexpected highlight was the staff. Apparently many of the servers are freelance musicians, and they'll break out a guitar and ukulele song if someone is celebrating a special occasion. Very chill, friendly neighborhood vibe overall.

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

Whiskey fans, you'll love the huge selection along with the impressive beer selection. Yelp should really hype this as a whiskey bar, too. It more than qualifies. The cuisine is phenomenal. Definitely a place to bring a large party on your first visit, so you can sample a multitude of wonderful creations. Pro Tip: if you can tolerate a large quantity of fish, visit on a Wednesday for their AYCE Fish & Chips. I've had many hum drum AYCE dinners that are drab and only fill you up. Not this one. It's a great meal and a great deal. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous, as was the Bangers and Mash. They've created a Haggis Burger that has to appease Americans, yet, still be haggis. A tall order since most would hate "true" haggis. Fear not, it's not your grandfather's haggis, it is a tasty burger. The fries were great but I'd recommend the Tattie Skins. We tasted so many different malts it was hard to pick a favourite. No foolin' they had island malts, highland malts, speyside and even a couple from the lowlands. Easy to spend over two hours in this public house. We did. Can't wait to get back to this town. This is a must! 02/26
