    Pub Burger
    Judy S.

Service here is excellent. There is seating outside and inside. We had a couple a drafts - Dove Tail. Which is a great beer and then we ordered the Pub burger with waffle fries. The burger is very nice size and came out with all the toppings. That said it was incredibly bland meat. The burger needs some work. But the waffle Fries were spot on. So overall great spot.

    Shawarma Salad Bowl

Came here for lunch but the food wasn't impressive. Almost everything felt overly dry or overcooked. Cheese curds were heavily breaded, and not nearly as good as any cheese curds we had in Wisconsin. Many cheese curds were cut too small, so all you are eating is the breading... Curry fries were very soft. We asked for a medium-rare burger, but ended with a medium-well burger. Tons of meat, but just overcooked and not tasty. I had the driest falafel in the Shawarma Salad bowl. The falafel was pressed flat, which may be a great idea to those who love the crunchy shell. You can clearly see the texture in the hummus, which is also too dry. Chicken was probably the best ingredient on this plate. Often see this place being busy, but maybe just not for me.

Great pub in old town serving well priced craft beers, full bar and good food. This spot has a beer garden that wraps around the back and side of the building plus a patio space up front. About a block away from the second city and 10 minutes walk from the north st beach. Check out their daily specials including happy hour and weekend brunch.

They have the main bar, then this little outdoor area, as well as the building behind it. I thought the outdoor area was pretty cute. The service was good. They had servers walking around and asking if we wanted more drinks and giving us water. We didn't order any food but some of my coworkers got fried pickles that they said they liked. There was a VERY small bathroom. I was glad it wasn't that busy when we were there because it was very small and the hallway was very small and that would be an awful line during peak hours.

Chicken Caesar Wrap and Roasted Tomato Bisque

Love the atmosphere here! I've been for drinks before, but this was my first time ordering food. I got the chicken Caesar wrap - it was tasty but a little heavy on the dressing! I enjoyed the tomato bisque with it though, but it's $3 extra for the premium side. My dad got the fish and chips - the regular fries are not great, I'd recommend the waffle fries because they are way better! Service was a little slow, but atmosphere is nice though for a casual lunch.

Good vibes and good service! I went here after work on a Saturday and I'm glad I did. I usually don't go out to eat solo but I did this time and I plan on going back soon enough. I ordered a spicy sriracha wrap with waffle fries and an old fashioned - both fabulous. My bartender threw down on the old fashioned and I wanted to keep going but that would've ended up not in the best situation. One thing that other customers kept talking about / bringing up to the staff was the music. Sometimes the music would cutoff and not play for 5-10 minutes then randomly play and then turn off again. I'm sure it was once in a blue moon coincidence but something to note for next time because it seemed like people were there for a vibey good time with music. Thank you Corcoran's - I plan on being back soon! Personal Review: 7.9/10

    Espresso martini

We stopped in around midnight on a Friday night to meet up with our niece. I was not expecting the club atmosphere for an Irish pub. Lol They played some good music, it was pretty packed in there. We just ordered some drinks. I ordered the espresso martini that they have on tap. It was good, not great, though. I think it cost $17. It sounded interesting, so I gave it a shot.

    Brunch Menu: Breakfast Tacos
    Amy D.

Great look and feel on a Sunday afternoon! My friends and I stopped by on a whim and were pleased to find $20 champagne bottles with OJ and a variety of Irish menu items. Our server was very nice and helpful. The only issue is how long it too for the food to come out. The breakfast tacos were flavorful, but soggy (likely after waiting too long to serve). Overall, I recommend trying if you're in the area. The vibe and seating makes up for the food experience and the group was really able to enjoy themselves! -AT

In Chicago's Old Town, this is about as good as it will get at 1am on a Sunday morning. Good for beers. Clean restroom. A little too loud for me but the waitress was very very reliable friendly and a sweetheart. We were a group of 7 guys and we were able to find seats.

The decor is straight from the 60s or 70s. The menu has something for everyone from ribs to prime rib to burgers. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The food was good. Our only one issue is the waiter told us the lamb chop special was gone so my husband ordered the pork chops but what was served were lamb chops. He ate them so we didn't say anything to the waiter but it was strange because the bill listed lamb chops not pork chops. Maybe they weren't gone after all? Over all I'll be keeping Miller's Pub in mind when we need somewhere to go for dinner or lunch and don't necessarily want fast food or the latest hot restaurant.

This is a nice, cozy restaurant and bar, and they really go all out with the decorations during the holidays. We ordered the special (haddock) and the clam chowder. The food was a bit hit or miss. The clam chowder was watery and came out lukewarm. The entrée was much better, the haddock was amazing hot, fresh, and crispy! Unfortunately, the mac and cheese was also lukewarm, although the fries were piping hot. We've been here many times before, especially during the holidays, and it has never disappointed us. Maybe this was just an off night, with some of the dishes not coming out as hot or fresh as they should have been. We'll come back and give it another try the next time we're in the area.

The ribs fell off the bone and were delicious. The tots were super good, just the right amount of garlic and cheese. The side salad was good, almost too much for the amount of dressing. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. Getting into the bar requires walking down a very steep staircase, which seems like it could be a safety concern, especially during the winter. Once inside, there was a strong bleach odor that was hard to ignore. After being there for a bit, I also noticed fruit flies around the bar. I had planned on ordering food, but the smell and overall atmosphere changed my mind. The staff were great, but because of the cleanliness concerns and layout, I wouldn't return.

We wandered in after dinner nearby and wanted a chill cocktail, we got the cocktail, not so much the chill...and that was 100% okay with us once we realized what we came upon at the top of that staircase. While small, they have all the goods for classic cocktails and even several house curated drinks. You can basically get dealers choice, which is a rotating house cocktail and it will run you around $13, which is the price that most cocktails came in at. The drink menu is seasonal and changes often, but they still sling all the classics and really anything you can think of. My partner went with a house cocktail, but I was after an espresso martini...and honestly, this doesn't seem like an espresso martini place, but they came through and it was a delightful nightcap for sure! If there are three things that made the experience this time around less optimal: the bar seemed to have attracted some rowdy/intrusive drunks (we got harassed a few times), the bar area itself had a puke-y smell going on, and the time it takes to get a drink can be quite long.
