Overall, the job could have cost several thousand dollars, but Jordan recommended a $350 solution that I believe will work for us. I had a seriously leaking kitchen faucet and was fortunate to call Clover Plumbing. It was Monday morning around 8:15 when I called to see if they could help solve my problem. A nice man said he would be over within an hour - and he was!! Jordan was a very professional young man who took care of the leak with a new faucet, even leaving to buy the style I liked. Quite pricey! Jordan does good work but charges at least $200 per hour. Not real affordable. He's able to give an estimate, sometimes by phone. CA plumbers usually charge $150/hr tops. Sooo, I probably won't use Clover Plumbing again. You can likely get the job done cheaper by shopping around. Clover gives a 30 day guarantee on their repairs. Our water main burst underground. We shut the water off and called every plumber in Taft. None of them could come out the same day. Jordan from Clover Plumbing in Bakersfield showed up within a couple hours. He dug up the line and attempted a temporary fix that afternoon. The line was corroded and falling apart. He came out the next morning and replaced the entire line from the house to the water meter box. He also added new shut off valves next to the house. Jordan was on site for about 9 hours and was courteous/professional the entire time. He even helped diagnose and fix a shower issue. Great contractor - I wish his business success. read more
