We're back! We've actually been back many times. Recently visited for a fruit-less olive tree. And this weekend we returned for some beautiful 5-gallon succulents to decorate our yard. This is our favorite plant nursery with the prettiest, well-curated gift/home shop. Think baskets, jute rugs, planter pots, blankets... We love it all! The best part about Cloverdale Nursery though? Such a cute place and so many beautiful plants! I wanted one of everything. They have an inside and outside plant section and they also sell other stuff like planters, candles, jewelry and gardening supplies. Definitely a gem and worth a visit for all you plant lovers. read more

Called this morning to see if they had two herbs and a veg starter. Gentlemen who answered said he had one herb and the veg...I asked if he knew where to find the other herb, as we'd been having a hard time finding it. He then said, I do have some, but it needs a little tlc...I'll sell it to you half off. Sounds good, I said, see you in a couple of hours. When I arrived he had all three packaged up. I never gave a name, but he remembered my order and it was waiting for me, now that's service! Very reasonable price for the three starts and the place is super cute! Btw, the herb he sold half off actually looked pretty good to me, I've seen way worse for full price at larger places. Bottom line, I'd go out if my way to support them, as I live in Santa Rosa and I haven't had this kind of service in some time. read more

Popped in on a whim while exploring wine country. They had a gorgeous variety of indoor and outdoor plants, playful garden decor, a nice selection of pots, and it was incredibly priced. Walked out with a nice unglazed pot for lettuce. read more

By far, the best nursery in Sonoma County. I visit when I can and am always impressed. This nursery has knowledgeable staff, unique plants, pottery & botanical gifts. They have everything you need for a beautiful drought tolerant garden. Recently the back warehouse was opened into more retail space and it is absolutely gorgeous! The huge indoor plants in beautiful baskets will make any plant lover swoon. read more

I live in Indiana, so she sent me photos with suggestions, and she was so helpful that it didn't matter what I bought; I knew I'd be happy with whatever she suggested. Every time I stop in here they always have something I 'can't live without' their prices are reasonable and the service is always excellent. They also have some unusual plants I don't usually see anywhere else. The outdoor area is so charming and plants are displayed so well. If you need a beautiful plant, seeds, or anything else for your garden this is the place to go in Sonoma County! It is also the place to go for fabulous and unique gifts. I have purchased lady bug attractant, seeds with amazing art packaging that I may frame, beautiful succulents, and much more. The customer service is amazing, really nice, knowledgeable people who obviously love what they do. They are right on the main drag in Cloverdale with off street parking, well worth a special trip or as part of a wine country trip. read more

It was a true delight to discover this gem. Cloverdale is gaining a reputation as a terrific destination and businesses like this one are certainly part of the reason. The very knowledgeable owners have created an oasis of charm and an outstanding selection of plants ranging from natives, succulents, vegetables and unique imports. There is a great selection of pottery and an eclectic and interesting assortment of gifts for yourself or a host. It is definitely a must visit when you are in the area. read more

Our focus is on succulents and hardy, water wise Mediterranean climate plants (Californian, Australian, South African natives, etc) and of course; edibles. Our gift store is filled with horticultural themed wonders, as well as all the gardener necessities. We carry a great line of organic fertilizers, soils, and garden treatments. We love seeds and try to have an abundant variety for all seasons. We also source locally as often as we can, and are always on the look for new, great products.
