I always stop by this antique store any time I'm in Healdsburg. I love antique stores and have done some ample exploring of multiple offerings that downtown Healdsburg offers, and this one is my favorite! The antique stores in the area are great, but I feel like Mondern Antiquarium has the widest range of categories. Not only do they offer the usual spread - dining, clothes, old tech, ornaments, stationary, random smaller knick knacks, etc. but they also have larger curiosities like coin lockers, road signs, a large letter "P", etc. My favorite is that they also have a space for partnering with artists, e.g. a section for old books that have been repurposed into journals where I picked up a cute journal. Be aware that if you're coming in during the summer/autumn months that it will be very hot inside! read more

bought a hydrant for 375 dollars during Covid. It was too heavy to move. No one at the shop could help me, nor did they have a lift or a hoyst dolly. So they said I could leave it there for as long as it took me to find a way to get it home. They took my number in case they needed to contact me. I also live in Healdsburg. I never did find anyone to help me, and the shop never called, so I thought it was OK to sit. Then life happened, my business shut down. I got busy. Still no phone call from the store. So recently I went into the shop asking about my hydrant, just wanting a refund since I assumed they sold it to someone else, they yelled at me, said that I forfitted my money and that they are allowed to double sell an item... I have never been treated so rudely in my whole life. They did not even offer a settlement. I will never shop here again. Business owner information Diane M. We do always ask that you bring somebody to help you if the item is heavy or a piece of furniture. We truly pride ourselves in our Customer Service. What you neglected to say in your comment was that the hydrant was $275 and you left it in our store for FIVE years. I have a record of when the purchase was made in the beginning of 2019. We did try to call you, multiple times and you didn't respond. You came into the store with no receipt demanding a refund or the item after not caring about it for five years.... but, you also said you assumed we sold it....? We did not yell at you and you left the store screaming that we were crooks. This experience is very unfortunate for both parties. The Modern Antiquarium did not do anything wrong. Hi again. I came in with a witness. The male owner/manager did yell at me and said he resoled it and said that it was fine that the shop made double profit. No one called me. No one offered to help me put the hydrant in my Subaru. The male staff said it was too heavy and suggested I bring someone ..during the pandemic .. right. Anyway if you have the documentation you say you have I would like me money. In the past I have spent plenty of money on vintage clothes and things in your shop and have enjoyed browsing. Best antique store in Healdsburg! They have unique pieces and their vendors have the neatest things. We were shopping for a mirror but ended up walking out with a lot more. One of the vendors spent an hour with us taking things off the wall so we could see them closer. Where you going to get a personal shopper, here that's where! I bought a few things and my sister bought a few. We would have stayed longer but they closed at 5 booo. Ha. I could have stayed there all night. read more

Wow! What a great vintage store! I always try to go to one in every city/state I visit and out of the 40 states I've been too this is one of the best. Moderately priced, well organized and easy to sort through. Large collection of vinyls if you are a collector. Would recommend spendings at least 30 minutes in here because it's a fairly large store. I didn't have enough time so I'm definitely adjusting my travel schedule to be back and spend more time!! read more

New owners, new name. This spot used to be Healdsburg Vintage. Lots of changes going on in the store, which is a collective. I found things at all price points which always gets my attention. Let me just say after looking for a year for the perfect little chandalier for my master bath...I found it here and very reasonably priced. I go in monthly! Love this store as do my girls.
