Chosen for…read moreconvenience, Boutique Air became the most inconvenient experience ever due to shady customer service, mishandled baggage, delays, flight cancellations, emergency landings, and being driven to the destination rather than flown due to malfunctioning aircraft. To start, plane was delayed. We chose Boutique to get to Clovis Municipal Airport and avoid a 4hr drive to/from the airport at Lubbock or Amarillo but plane broke down midflight and the plane had to land in Lubbock. Then we were told vehicle transportation would be provided which is what we were trying to avoid in the first place. For some reason someone had to drive from Clovis, to Lubbock, and back to Clovis rather than offer a vehicle straight out of Lubbock. It was an extra difficult wait without any food the whole day. Also, the day prior we double checked with Boutique customer service and a phone rep assured us automatic transfer of luggage between United and Boutique at DFW. That was incorrect and our luggage was left behind. Boutique kept delaying arrival of our luggage on several subsequent flights due to a number of different lame excuses and never apologized. We had to physically show up to air our grievances to try and get any sort of real solution or compensation for our luggage. They never owned up to the fact that their employee misinformed/lied to us and instead actually blamed us for using a 3rd party (Travelocity) rather than booking directly with United.

I have flown with Boutique Air from Clovis to Dallas countless times. Of course, living in Eastern…read moreNM, wind is expected, so of course, delays are expected. These planes are not large enough to be capable of takeoff/landing in high winds, so of course there is grace for that. This is convenience over all other things, I'd rather have a 1.5h flight (even if it gets delayed) than drive 7+ hours to Dallas. Logistics aside, customer service has always been 10/10! I lost a ring on a recent flight without realizing it, called later that day, and they found it! Not only did they find it, they very willingly offered to deliver it, and did!! They're awesome!!

Typical airport, fairly small with just 9 gate and one security check point. Arrived on a Wednesday…read moreevening and sadly all roller carry on bags were checked at the gate in the originating city and were supposed to be picked up on the verbiage upon arrival. Sadly this did not happen and we had to pickup at baggage claim. As frequently travelers know, avoiding baggage claim is the whole reason to take a carryon. So the arrival experience wasn't quite as anticipated Departing flight on a Sunday morning and arrived 2 hr before boarding. Not busy at all, took about 10 min to get through TSA even with an additional bag check. Food court had a few breakfast options and I grabbed the avocado toast and a coffee. Avocado toast had great flavor and toast was hearty enough to hold. Two full slices of toast, and a lot of tater tots and tomatoes. I don't try the tomatoes, sand the tater tots were crispy. Overall decent airport, can't have too high of expectations with the size.

I can go to the ticket counter, get my boarding pass, check my luggage, get through security and walk to my gate in 15 min or less! Yup, it's true. The TSA staff are always friendly, they joke a little with you, the airport is clean and it's always a pleasure to fly in or out in a jiffy.

They always give you iced beverages, no matter how short the flight. They also have pretzels and peanuts no matter how short the flight. They give free adult beverages when you have to fly on a holiday and for business elite passengers. Their attendants are typically funny while doing their announcements. It is easy to earn points for future flights. I like how the app reminds me to check in.

For a little context, I've been flying with this company for almost 20 years and have been a Rapid…read moreRewards card member since 2013. I can't believe how I've been watching this company go down the drain over the past couple years. I'm a larger customer, over 6 feet tall and over three hundred pounds, and over the past two years it's been harped on by the staff more and more, I've watched them try and nickel and dime their customers, jack up the prices, and over all they're turning into the same kind of crap I've avoided with every other airline out there. I regularly take this same flight to go visit my home town, and a flight that used to cost about $250 on a bad day with A1-A15 boarding round trip is now going to cost double that BEFORE they try and say I have to pay for an extra seat that "Might" get refunded if the plane doesn't fill up. Mind you, I tend to sit near the mid/back of the plane anyway because I know it's not ideal to sit right next to me anyway and I pick an edge seat knowing my knees will be bashing into everything. So, why am I writing this now? Because it's getting worse, and it's about to make me cancel the card I've had for years and just go with a competitor, because there's NO value with Southwest anymore. My card member rewards are downgraded as of this year, my flight is costing me more just to get there, I'm being hounded to buy a second seat and they "Might refund it" I Really, truly hope whatever insanity has taken over this company gets washed out in the coming months. I'd love to keep giving them my money, but American at least doesn't pretend they care about me as a customer. And by the way, Yes, my ass DOES fit in the seat.
