Thankfully it is a small airport and not very busy like Newark or O'Hare. Seems like the X-ray machine they use locks up on occasions. Plus it does not prioritize who ever is dropping off their bags at the closest station to the machine. This last time I watched the bags of the person two spots behind me get scanned before my first bag did and then the guy ended up still waiting longer than me on the other side. This makes zero sense and forces a lot of people to wait for that last bin with their stuff to come thru. The few tsa agents I interacted with were friendly and they get a separate 5 STAR rating from me.

Check is was amazing as the person that checked me in was lovely and friendly and gave some great recommendations for local places to eat! The room was well sized, it did have a bit of a stale sweat odor unfortunately! I am going to start traveling with my travel essential oil humidifier for this reason but it was clean and well appointed with a large window the length of the room. The room was quiet , bed was comfy and the stay was pleasant - will definitely stay here again while here for work as it's a great property and location!

Really unfortunate. None of us slept well. When we woke and quickly left in the morning, the hallway was at least 10 degrees cooler than our room. Honestly, don't sell the room (or at least discount it) if it's that bad and you know it! No continental or provided breakfast either. You can buy breakfast from a "cafe". For over $200 for one night. We could have stayed anywhere else, we should have, but we didn't know the room condition until we had all our things in the room and it was 11:00 at night already. Certainly our bad for not just leaving, but my experience is my experience, so here we are. Giving 2 stars for the beds being somewhat comfy; if the A/C worked and the cot was not broken (and they knew it), it would be higher.

The sites were level and spacious, and the hookups were easy to access -- perfect for our Class A motorhome and tow vehicle. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in quick and simple -- a great place to rest and recharge. One thing to note: there's a train that goes by nearby, so if you're a light sleeper like me, consider that your early alarm around 4:30 a.m. Other than that, it's a great KOA and we'd definitely stay here again!

Since I didn't get a confirmation email, I called them this morning to make sure my reservation went though. They said it did, and there would be a room for me when I got there. The interaction today went something like this- Me: Hi, I have a reservation Manager: I hope it's for a double or a sleeper, cuz it's all we have available. Me: Oh, I don't remember, but I made the reservation a few days ago. Manager: You wanted a single, we don't have any left. Me: ... ... Me: So what's my next step? Manager: Well, I can put you on a waiting list or you can upgrade your room for $50 (per week). Me: Oh, sure... When can we expect to hear from you? Manager: No earlier than Monday (note- today is saturday) Me: Can I talk to someone about this? I did make a reservation. Manager: You can call at 9am on Monday and talk to the other manager. At about that time we left, went to the car and called corporate. I told them the story, and they didn't seem to care much. They said they'd call the manager and give me a call back if anything becomes available. In their parking lot we got wifi from somewhere and reserved a room at one of the other MANY hotels in the area.

Not a big deal for us because we had what we needed and were up and out early.

There were amenities such as an ironing board, a hair dryer, fairly big size room fridge, a microwave, a desk, a chair, a bench, washer and dryer, shampoo conditioner and body wash, fancy soap and lotion, and more. The pool is big and clean and they have specific pool towels available. The free breakfast was amazing, probably the best one I've been to. It includes Texas shaped pancakes with toppings, lots of condiment options including lots of sugar free options and sugar substitute packets, 10ish different flavors of tea bags, eggs sausage and biscuits with gravy, yogurt with toppings, lots of baked goods including muffins, bagels, Manifesto brand brownies, etc. they had 3 flavors of cream cheese, mini Nutella and peanut butter packets, fresh fruit, and more. They also had fresh, cold water and 3 types of juice. It was amazing as far as hotel breakfast buffets go, and it was complimentary. Everyone working there was friendly and quick and kept up with making sure everyone's needs more met. I got pictures of the food available for breakfast and of the facilities. Lots of parking available. No elevator but the doors are outside the stair shafts and so it wasn't very far to walk to get from our car to our hotel room. The pool has one of those ADA compliant motorized seats for people who need to be lowered into the pool. I think that's a nice touch because most hotel pools don't have that available. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again.

Besides the outdated aesthetics my complaints were... there was a fly in our room, there was a dead bug in the fridge, and the floors felt like they were dirty with some residue on them. Also, the shower had a small spot of dirt/mold in the grout. What they did right ..... the pool was nice and refreshing on this hot summer day, the staff was courteous and helpful. Probably won't be back anytime soon, but it was $50 less than other places I was looking at and the area seemed safe, and it worked for what we needed it for (single night in Amarillo).
