I came across Muddy Studio during my search and decided to give it a try. At $140 for a month--three hours a day, once a week--I thought it was a great, budget-friendly hobby to enjoy. From the very first class, our instructor, Sam, taught us pottery in great detail. Sam majored in pottery and was incredibly kind, thorough, and helpful. Now that I've finished my first month, I've decided to sign up for another month! I truly believe this place is an excellent option for anyone looking for a hobby. The studio owners are also wonderfully nice, and the atmosphere is so friendly that everyone can easily become friends. If you need some healing from your busy daily routine, you should definitely give it a try! Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's not impossible since you can just park on the street and walk over.

They offer classes MTWThFSa and morning/night times for those looking for flexibility. Heather is a great instructor and I've learned so much in the past month. I'm really looking forward to glazing and firing my pieces!

All members supported me and encouraged to stay. I see progress in my speaking skills with every meeting. The main idea of this particular club - no topic is taboo. I like this very much because we can discuss a lot of topic and listen other other points of view.

I have been to other toastmaster clubs and this one by far is one of the best...if not THE best in…read morethe area. Here are a couple of things that really made this club special. 1st thing is that everyone is so welcoming. The very first time I visited this club I felt extremely welcomed. 2nd thing is that this club is not afraid to talk about any topic. They really live by their motto "No topic is taboo" because I heard speeches and talks on very controversial topics such as politics, religion, and sex to name a few. What is remarkable though is how everyone is so respectful of other people's opinion that the club really creates a safe space to talk about anything. 3rd thing is that the members are very diverse from age, race, gender, occupation, family, recreation. There are young 25 yr olds all the way to 65+ both male and female that are engineers, sales, c level executives, students, entrepreneurs, single, married, kids, no kids, as wells as people from all the continents (except Antarctica...nobody really lives there). If anything just visit the club and see what it's all about.

I called a week in advance to ask if there was food available while i was playing music (totally willing to pay for it). They said absolutely. However, Even though i was willing to pay, THEY REFUSED to give me any food after being there 3 1/2 hours. (I would've brought my lunch had i known). Something about, "all members needing to eat first" ??. I only had 20 min more to play, and asked again and they still refused - even tho the BBQ cooks outside were all laughing, playing grab ass and talking to each other (serving no one !!!) The very serious and uncaring Manager was rude and uncaring. The members on the other hand were awesome and happy, and coming up and complimenting and grabbing my card. Again, this review won't matter to anyone (except musicians be ware !!). If SACC cares at all about their south county reputation, then little character flaws like this will add up. "However you treat the least of my brothers, is how you treat me."

Bought reserved seats upstairs. Decent view of the stage. Great sound. I paid extra for premium parking. There is free parking within a couple of blocks. I think premium parking is worth it as I've heard there are predatory tow services that tow cars parked in lots of nearby CLOSED businesses. Douchey move. Enjoyed the show, food was decent "pub grub" but pretty limited menu. Nice selection of beers, cocktails and seltzers, really limited wine options.

I'm not in the venue yet. I prepaid $10 for parking. The attendant at the lot on sight said this lot is VIP $30 parking. He directed me where to park; following the signs. I ended snaking through a industrial/commercial building area, passing several empty parking lots. Finally found where I'm allowed to park. It's a third of a mile walk. Not a problem for me but ridiculous. Let's hope the venues sound is good. This place has been in business a long time and from reading other people's opinion on parking, management still doesn't have a clue. edit: security would not allow a sealed plastic water bottle to be brought inside.
