I've been to club Bolts several times in the past and had a blast...I love the older crowd and the dj was great. But the last time I attended it wasn't hitting on nothing was very empty and they claimed to had remodeled but I didn't see any major changes. Only stayed about 30mins and left. They literally just F this club up. Use to be free b4 10pm and $10 after 10pm. Now it's $15 cash. The service was not good from the wait staff. Hookah $40 cash before you even get the hookah that took over an hour to get. Food was mediocre and just ok. I remember the wings being better. Went to my friend's birthday party here last night. We were the first to be there due to decorating her VIP section. The section is supposed to seat 15 people. Come on now this is Atlanta. But anywho. The section comes with 2 bottles of Champagne and 100 wings. Also you have a server assigned to your section however she still has to work the rest of the club. They need more servers. SiMan Baby is the Dj for the night from 107.5. He came over introduced himself. Took pics with whomever wanted to pose and got the birthday girls name. He announced birthdays all throughout the night. The club is decent. Its an older crowd. No foolishness. Old School music all night long. The place was packed as well as the dance floor. The parking lot is free and large. There is plenty of seating and a moderate sized dance floor. Nice venue for the grown and cute! Prior to COVID it was always a nice crowd every Saturday nice. Post COVID (now) the crowd is reasonable which is really good to maintain social distancing (which can be difficult in a lounge environment). We went to Club Bolts to celebrate a friend's birthday. She really wanted to party and enjoy herself, but this was NOT it. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were patted down and I was allowed in for free while he had to pay $15. There literally were no more than 15-20 people in the entire club and that included the workers we saw. We had a table reservation and were told what the drink minimum was for use of the table by our waitress, which was fine. My husband and I ordered 2 drinks - they were HORRIBLE! I sent mine back in exchange for something else that was only slightly better so I just left it alone. Within 20 minutes a guy in the group of folks that were next to us starting acting crazy. Security and Dekalb County police had to escort the entire group out. Then there were now only 10 people left in the club. Lol! It was mess! Somehow, the waitress decided to bring over a sparkler and "turn up" with our group and actually lit out birthday girl's hair on fire accidentally. Wow!. This was such an epically disastrous outing. Two of the folks with our group finally left and went across the street to Bigelow's and we soon followed. It was only a $5 cover charge and they all enjoyed themselves. read more

I came here for my friend's birthday on a Saturday Night. The club is in a shopping center and there is a large parking lot. I think parking is supposed to be free but further away from the club there are a couple of sketchy guys with vest and a sign that says $5. We arrived around 11pm and the cover charge was $10. I had a feeling the crowd was a tad older when the camera man told me I had a nice smile and asked if I was wearing a plate. The inside was very spacious, there were tables all around the room and a large bar. The dance floor is right in the middle of the room. The night we went there was a DJ and he played a lot of old school which had the crowd moving all night. I was definitely one of the youngest people in there that night being in my mid 30's . On average I think the crowd was 45 and over, if my Dad was in town it's a place I could take him to. Most of the men had on Suits or Blazers and the women were dressed well also. The service here sucks I had to hunt a waitress down because for some reason none would come to our table. Once we ordered our drinks it took another 30 mins to get our cups of wine ( not glasses). Club Bolts is a decent spot to come to if you are looking to have a good time and already in the area. read more

Dropped through on Super Bowl weekend and it was packed like I've never seen before. The line was ridiculous. Music is always good and the drinks are always strong...damn! Brought some family here to celebrate a bday and they loved it, everybody had a good time. So glad we had a table because it was so damn packed. What a great spot!! I celebrated my Retirement/Birthday party there. The owner was very professional when booking the Booths. He was the only one who returned my phone call in a timely manner. This review is applicable to Friday evening. I have heard that Saturday is different. Music? Yes. They had a live band and a DJ playing some classic hip-hop and R&B music. The music was definitely on point. Lots of people dancing and enjoying the music. Drinks, Food, Cheap Night Out? Not really. I've heard that they charge to get in, so we showed-up at about 9:30, so that we could bypass the door fee. (If there was one.) Either way, the drinks were a bit much. It was $20 for a double vodka cranberry. I might as well have bought a bottle, probably would have been cheaper. If you don't drink, then maybe you'd be alright. Only one person at the table ordered food. She got the lemon pepper wings. Very delicious. The fries were good too. No complaints here. Location/Space Parking lot is big. Plenty of room to park, but it does fill up. It almost seems like everyone drives separate. Arrive early-ish, you don't want to park down the street. Interior was decent. MUCH nicer than I expected, but still a bit of "dive". The layout of the interior felt a bit like a dive bar, mixed with a strip club. The bathrooms were clean and reasonable for a Friday night. Thanks for that ladies. I just can't get past the drink prices. Pre-game at home, go to Club Bolts for early Friday drinks and dancing, then have a shot or two in the car before heading to a late-night place. read more

Not my type of crowd but music was excellent. My waitress was incompetent! The menus said $10 for wings & fries, but I was charged $15. The manager/owner sitting behind his desk counting money said he couldn't give it to me for $10 event hough they made the error. Waitress said my card declined, been using card all day no problem. Went outside called bank, they didn't see a transaction from there. Looked at the receipt she gave me showing declined, at the bottom the last 4 numbers weren't the numbers of my card! Had a great time last night on New Years Eve! Great music, great DJ and the wings and fries were delicious! And, being the only white dude in the place, I was treated really good by everyone there. There are a few minor details you might consider. One, if the main parking lot if full, go around in back. There is extra space back there not really visible from Gresham Rd. Don't be suckered by the hustlers that wanna charge you $10 to park in the lot right off Gresham. Save your $10 and by your lady a nice drink. The drinks are made just right too. Secondly, if you are a man and you go to use the urinal in the men's room, don't use the first one by the door because your dingy thingy will be visible to everybody outside the door when it opens. I went to Club Bolts last night (Saturday) just looking to have a good time with my friends. We got there at about 9pm and the parking lot in front of the building was completely full. We parked in the lot adjacent to the building and that lot was filling up fast. It was well lit and for extra security I parked on the end closest to the street under a light post-but there were no police patrolling the lots. There was no entry fee so we went straight to the bar. The bar was PACKED but we decided to wait since it was still pretty early. Once we got to the front of the line, we waited for at least 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. The bar tenders kept overlooking us and when we tried to let them know that we had been waiting for awhile, they were extremely rude. The dark-skinned older bartender yelled at us that she wasn't working on our side. The light-skinned younger bartender skipped over us several times for men who had large bills in their hands. When the older bartender FINALLY realized that we had been waiting there longer than anyone, she rudely said "what do you want"...I was beyond disgusted. A few hour later, I was notified that my car had been broken into. I will not be back! read more

Went here for a birthday party last week and the drinks were $10!!! Are you kidding me? Off Gresham Rd? Naaah Boo Boo y'all got to be kidding me. I was very shocked. There is so much competition across and next door I'm sure not charging those prices. That's steep for drinks. I asked for Tito's and a splash of Cran and because Lil Momma put too much Red Stain inside it's I asked for a shot and she charged me $10 more. I'm a tipper but that was the tip. The club was nice. Love the old school music. They need to hire more people to serve on a Saturday. Also I ordered fried wings and it came with fries. The fries were warm and old. They were not fresh. I asked for all flats but didn't get what I asked for. Also asked for fried wings like you fry at home and I didn't get that either. They just fried it with no batter.
