All larger retailers carry clubs that a decent player should not even look at, as they are just low quality and poorly designed. I picked up almost every wedge-wood and putter that the Back None had, as they were all tour quality items. Vokey wedges, all top 460cc drivers, some with tricked out shafts. Their prices are reasonable with many special LTO's and discounts. Their Scorecard is their rewards program to earn discounts after spending certain amounts. I went there for one thing--- a bicycle. Dick's had put out a flyer offering 2 types of Schwinn bikes at 50% off. The problem is their website and store didn't have the same offer. After contacting their customer service, I had a note offering a "price match" in which they honored the 50% price. A special call-out to Chris Campbell, one of their service technicians, who did an excellent job adjusting the gears and brakes during the safety check. He did a great job explaining the safe operation and maintenance of the bike. As a precaution, I took out their warranty for the free tune up and safety inspections. Check out was quick and easy.

But, what I found most impressive was Jim, who re-gripped my irons and took a trade in on some wedges and woods I was looking to trade. Fair as fair can be, he worked with me and we came to a amicable agreement in a minute. Super nice people!…read more We rented 6 e-bikes. The young kid handing out the bikes didn't know how to level out a seat on my buddy's bike. Was uncomfortable until we stopped at the Avocado Bike Shop and they fixed it. After 13 miles my battery died and had to ride 3.5 miles back to the shop with a heavy dead bike. They are supposed to go 30-35 miles... I turned it in as my friends continued with their ride for 2 more hours. Owner insisted on a full refund. Again, super nice people! I just got a bike with a bad battery...

If the tide is in, it's REALLY amazing... but even with the tide out, it's pretty fantastic. Wildlife everywhere. The front 9 - especially the first three holes - are a nice warm-up. They get you into the swing of things. (pun intended) The range and putting green are solid. If you're on vacation here, this is a superb choice of where to play.

After that we stopped going to watch the game there and found another bar. Fast forward to this year... We decide to give the bar another try. Heard there were new owners since we were there last. We were happy with the food, service and atmosphere. We have made it a regular stop these last two months. HOWEVER... Last night we went to grab a drink. Three of us. We sat at the bar, as we always do. The bar was NOT full and there were plenty of empty tables at the time we went in. The bartender comes over to ask what we want, and remembers our drinks, which is nice. I say... I'm not drinking but she will have her normal drink, and I point to the empty chair next to me. Again, she knows what drink and for who, and she goes to get two drinks. When she came back with the drinks she looks at me and says... So you can't just sit here and take up space at the bar.You need to order something. How about a soda? A juice? An app? Ummmmmm.... First of all... The place is half empty. Second of all... I am designated driver and NOT drinking and I do not want to pay for a soda or juice that I don't want to drink. I told her that it was rude that she wouldn't let me sit there as I've NEVER been told that before. Even when they were busy and overflowing. We always tip 30% or more and are good customers. We were going to order food but I was fuming at this point and I got up and I walked out. My fiancé and friend followed me. I understand not letting a group of people sit there if it was busy and seats were being taken up and they weren't ordering anything, but that was not the case yesterday.
