Nick helped me understand the various shaft options and after trying several shafts, we found one that works well with my swing. He also checked the loft and lie of all my irons and was able to reset to factory specs. If you are looking for a very knowledgeable, personable, honest, and good listening Club Fitter, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nick Piening to you. I will return to see Nick, for an iron fitting, when I return next year. In addition to Nick, Bill in the club repair shop does an outstanding job. Was CERTAIN I wanted new Pings, but after hitting many clubs, we agreed on the Srixon Zi5 Irons and Callaway Opus wedges, all on LA Golf shafts. To say my game improved is an understatement. Ive shot my best rounds EVER, even though I've been playing since a teenager and just turned 65! The DATA DRIVEN PROCESS verified what I felt...I hit those clubs longer ( gained a full club) but more importantly, my accuracy is VASTLY improved. A few weeks ago, went back in for a Driver fitting. My driver was truly my Nemesys, but .... Jeffery set me up with a Cobra DS-Adapt Max K driver head on a Nemesys Shaft. The irony was not lost on me, however, my driver is NOW my Confidence club. Went from maybe 50% of fairways hit to 75% or better...and yes I'm tracking that! I have virtually eliminated misses to the right side - okay call it what it was, a slice! - My mishits stay in play way more often now. Cant say enough about Jeffery, Jason and the team in the Bluffton store. Truly a pleasure to work with. I have NEVER enjoyed playing golf more!

I also had a set of clubs that were almost 20 years old. He found the perfect shaft and heads for my driver, woods and irons. We're just getting into golfing, so I can't compare this to any other club rental or talk much about the quality of the clubs (they seemed great to me, but I'm a rookie!), but the service was fantastic and the price was incredibly reasonable. The guys were friendly and helpful, and when we booked an afternoon tee time on the day our clubs were due back, they let us drop them off at the clubhouse upstairs without any issue. When the clubs finally came in, he promised to ship immediately. I called a week later...he said he forgot? The clubs were shorter than my old clubs and he said they were perfect. The manufacturer's rep was at our club for a demo day and assured me the clubs were at least an inch too short. I couldn't hit them. Chris offered to fix them but by then, I didn't trust him. My pro put extensions in. I now have a set of $3800 clubs that have been patched. Chris sent $275 as an accommodation. Please be careful.

Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they have a good selection that matches some of the mega firework stores but more importantly the people are really really really nice! It looked like a family run store with multi-generations working and serving all the customers. Regardless of age everyone working the store were very polite and helpful! I plan to keep visiting this store every time we vacation on Hilton Head!

They had offered quite a few opening day offers such as putting contests, gift cards for the first (?) people. (I heard some people waited a while in line for the store to open and only received $10 off). My wife and I wanted to see if they had any specials on clubs. She still has a starter set and is looking to get something geared towards her game. We went back with one of the associates (golf pro from their Charlotte store) who put her on the simulator. She was there for at least an hour while the pro evaluated her swing, grip, stance, etc. Essentially she got a free lesson. But of course it wasn't free since we did purchase 4 clubs to begin the transition. She loves the new Big Bertha Reva's and hope to continue finishing up the set. They had some specials and quite a bit of clothing and accessories. They will now compete with Worldwide and PGA Store. It would be nice if the clubs could be discounted by store discretion. Apparently prices are set by the manufacturer.

I was looking for a new…read moredriver and stopped in to hit some clubs that I had in mind after doing much research and reading on the latest and greatest. I told the gentleman what I wanted to try and was told I "had" to have an $80 fitting in order to try "new" clubs. The $80 would go to the cost of the new club. If I chose not to purchase I would be out $80 apparently. I did not want a fitting but they insisted the only way I could try new clubs was to have a fitting. I have played golf close to 40 years and have a really good idea of what I like and don't like. I have been "fitted" on several occasions and the results have never been great. However they insisted I must have a fitting to even try their precious new clubs. I left there and went directly to Edwin Watts Golf. They handed me every club I wanted to try, let me hit balls without bothering me, weeded out the ones that didn't feel right, picked the one I liked and was on my way in less than 45 minutes with a new Callaway. And my do it myself fitting has provided a driver I hit way better than anything I ever got from someone else telling me what was "best" for me.
