Worst customer service ever!!!!! I've been in here on four different occasions. Not once did anyone ask if I could be helped. I asked one of the staff about looking at some irons on the last visit and they walked away. They spend most of the time working in the simulators with people that have already booked I'm assuming. I already knew the clubs I was looking for and was ready to buy right then. Well, they won't ever be getting my business again. Don't usually post reviews but making an exception here. Went to a fitting with Nick Piening at the PGA Hilton Head location and it was GREAT! Nick helped me understand the various shaft options and after trying several shafts, we found one that works well with my swing. He also checked the loft and lie of all my irons and was able to reset to factory specs. If you are looking for a very knowledgeable, personable, honest, and good listening Club Fitter, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nick Piening to you. I will return to see Nick, for an iron fitting, when I return next year. In addition to Nick, Bill in the club repair shop does an outstanding job. I have been to many of these stores throughout the US. I now live in Hilton head so I went to their store there to purchase a new putter. HUGE mistake. I have never seen a more inept staff anywhere. I ordered my new putter...$650. I was told 4-6 weeks. I asked for it to be delivered to their store so it would not get lost. HUGE mistake number two. I contacted the store in the middle of week 5. Was told the putter had shipped (Thursday), and would be in that afternoon as fedex was delivering it. They would call me...NO phone call that day. Went to the store the next day (Friday). Was told it was coming in that day and they would call me...NO phone call. Went in the next day (Saturday). Clerk totally confused so he called their customer service desk. Customer service said it should be delivered that afternoon. They would call me the second it came in...again NO phone call. Went in Monday...5 days after they told me it would be there on Thursday. Was told by Kevin the manager it would be in that day and I could come in Tuesday to pick it up. He PROMISED to call me when it came in since they had yet to follow thru on that promise. Kevin swore he would call me that day. NO call. I assumed it was there since that is what Kevin told me. Worked Tuesday so I went in Wednesday excited to finally get this putter I had been waiting SIX weeks for...it was getting a different shaft, not too complicated I thought. Well, went in Wednesday and not only was it not there the manager said the order wasn't ready and hadn't shipped yet!!! That was the last straw. I told the manager to refund my $600+'s. He said well his putter took over 6 weeks to get acting like I was being unreasonable. Dude, just give me my damn money back...putting a new shaft into a putter shouldn't take 6 weeks. He put the money back on my card. Well here I am three days later and no money. Stay away from this store. It is poorly run, poorly managed and the staff is poorly trained. When I eventually get my damn money back I'm heading to Edwin Watts, should have done that to begin with. The manager was Kevin and the putter was a LAB. Not sure LAB is anymore competent than the PGA tour store. Worst service I have ever had. DONT LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I work at two courses in Hilton head and live in a community that has two courses. I will be spreading the word about the incompetence of that crew in that store. They should be embarrassed. I won't be doing business with LAB either...6 weeks to get one putter getting only a different shaft. They can't handle their business either. Couldn't give this store a zero rating so had to give it a one...it was a ZERO. read more

If you're into golf or want to be, this is your candy store. They also have a section set aside for tennis as well. Plenty of equipment, clothing and accessories. They even offer instruction and training. If you're looking for new clubs, they will help fit you to the ones best suited for your size and swing. This was my first time there and it was quite impressive. I brought my clubs in to be regripped and they were able to get the job done in a few hours. They charge $2.99 per club to regrip which doesn't include the price of the grip itself. They have a plethora of grips to choose from all ranging in price from around $5 to $15 depending on the type and quality. If it has anything to do with golf, you'll find it there. read more

We drove two hours out of our way to the pga superstore in Hilton head with great enthusiasm to buy a new Scotty Cameron putter and some clothes. My husband putted for 40 minutes without anyone asking if he needed help. Then he had to ask someone to see a putter, they opened the case, handed him the putter and walked away. Needless to say, it wasn't the putter he wanted and again had no help. We are avid tennis and golf players and thought we had hit the jackpot, boy were we wrong. Wont go back and we won't shop online at these stores. read more

I haven't purchased a new golf club since I got my set in 2012. I decided that I needed a lob wedge and headed to the HH PGA Tour store on Sunday, 7/12. First I'll say that I am very self conscious when getting my swing analyzed and also don't like hitting on mats. I hope that I remember his name -Shane? He was a game changer. He listened to what I wanted, and helped me select a club. As I was hitting, he gave me a couple tips (free lesson) that really helped me hit the ball well. Between the new club, and Shane's tips, I have fewer mishits, and I have dropped strokes off my game. He is such an asset to this store. read more

Arrived without an appointment to replace irons for my wife. Was promptly greeted and directed to Mark H. Mark was patient and did a fantastic job assuring the new clubs were a perfect fit. Explained nuances involved in sizing and walked us through three different options at the simulator. On vacation and needed clubs that were in stock. Fortunately, the best choice was. Overall, a fantastic experience at PGA Tour Superstore In Bluffton, SC from greeting to checkout. Keep up the good work! read more

Love this store. I am warmly greeted every time I visit. This is my go to place for everything golf! Their quick turnaround service for new grips is invaluable and usually completed while I shop. Staff professional and they know golf. I generally purchase Titleist golf balls; recently I purchased Titleist test golf balls; they are great and I can't wait for their release. They also have gently used golf balls and every brand you could imagine. Thank you for being so close to Hilton Head. read more

Biggest selection, best service, great prices for some distance. This place is BIG and tied into the website so you can order and pick up.They particularly excel at customer service. Many brands to DEMO and several hitting bays available where you can hit and test unmolested if you wish. I regularly shop here and have since opening, no decline in service or stocking of brands.. Unqualified recommendation. The only turn-off imaginable is if you don't like the corporate aspect. There are two extremely well-run privately owned shops nearby if you prefer that. read more

On 2/25/2019 visited the PGA Superstore in Bluffton, SC hoping to find an answer to an ongoing problem revolving around a set of irons I had been playing with for quite some time. In desperate need of a fitting, had the good fortune of meeting Dave who very patiently worked through club heads and shafts until a eureka moment of OMG. I'm 75 and with diminishing flexibility was getting frustrated by loss of distance and an increasing handicap. But with every swing of the club Dave made up, I hit shot after shot longer, straighter and with greater trajectory than I had seen in years. This is not a testimony to the club but more to the fitter and his willingness to spend the required amount of time with his customer. I can't believe how forgiving and confidence building these clubs are (Cobra F9 Speedback irons). I have played with them 5 times, most recently on Long Island and just shot a 79 on a cold and windy day. That would not have happened without these new clubs, all thanks to that great fitting experience. read more

If you are getting any club repair work done outside of regripping clubs, I would go elsewhere. They changed a Titleist adapter from one shaft to another for me and completely stripped the markings on the adapter. Can no longer read what the set up is. The ferrule has a noticeable gap between the adapter and is melted in two places. I was charged $16 for this. The Callaway adapter they pulled is in perfect shape, I was given no explanation of why it was given to me in this condition. read more
