We came in for the free kids fishing event that they had going on this past weekend. Online it said…read morethat they started at 10 AM but when we arrived one of the people told us, it didn't start until 11and that we would be meeting on the other side of the building. We walked around the store for a while until it finally got closer to time. We walked out there and It wasn't too bad at first we got signed up and we noticed it was a little unorganized. More people started to show up and it was hot out. Another issue was where they had us for fishing, it was kind of grassy and the families were kind of close together with no directions. It became hard to get the line out for the littles. I appreciate a free event, especially to get the kids an experience. Just wish it was a little bit more organized maybe with an online sign-up would have helped.

I love that it's not a sale first place as you can feel they just want you to get what you're looking for. Stock for clubs are limited at the location but they can order anything you need. I went with hopes that they'd have a similar selection and they did not disappoint. I was able to get some great Rays stuff. This Lids location has a wide selection in my opinion - better than the Dick's down the hall in the mall. I picked up three things for myself. Unfortunately there wasn't any back stock of items, so my husband was out of luck on stuff he liked since they didn't have his size. The gentleman working was polite, cheery, and knowledgeable. I saw a variety of teams, not just local, but also saw plenty of the local universities' gear represented. There's a good kids hat section as well on the back wall. Do it!
