Haven't been to this location in quite a long time since the one in Carillon opened it. Had some friends in town and decided to meet up here. While waiting for friends, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Bartenders were attentive and kind. Everyone arrived and we headed to the bay. Immediately ordered food and started playing. Once you enter your information on the screen, your play time starts IMMEDIATELY. The problem with this is that the food took way too long (mind you, it wasn't even busy) that the play time was dang near over before the food arrived, making us add more time. We tried to order drinks with about 15 mins playing time remaining, and our server said we'd have to pay for more time or our bay would have to be forfeited. To sum it up, we felt rushed. My suggestion to maximize playing time is to order food and drink at the bar before hand and IF POSSIBLE (because I didn't try this so I don't know if its allowed), bring the food and drinks to the bay when you're ready to play. This was the first time I visited a Top Golf in years so it was like the first time again. We were greeted at the door then went straight to our section since we reserved online. We started playing after waiting for someone to come by to see if we wanted to order. The server was friendly but wasn't attentive so we had to wait for any refills. The food tasted good and no issues with the taste of the food but we had one serving a fries that were cold. It was a fun atmosphere that inspired everyone to have fun. Had a really solid experience at Topgolf! It was super fun and easy to navigate, even if you're not an experienced golfer. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, making it a great spot to just relax and enjoy yourself. The environment and vibes are all positive and meant for you to have a good time. The service is always fast and friendly. This time my Topgolf host was Kirsten and she was fantastic! I took the day off of work and came in for my birthday. She took extra care of me and brought me a birthday dessert! I had a great time and will be back for sure. I tend to come in a few times a year at least. I always get the patty melt with tater tots and it is delicious. The house marg is also a must. Topgolf is where you come for the golf but end up spending more time socializing, eating fantastic food and having some drinks. The pricing of the bay itself can be a little high but if you split between the max of 6 people it becomes very affordable. As a side note all of the clubs are free to use and you can bring your own clubs (I often do). The golf sim itself has lots of games, mock golf courses and even angry birds! I reserved an event for a party of 12 in August, for the day after thanksgiving- which I highly recommend. Everything was handled via email, and the staff was very efficient, confirming all the details about a week before our arrival. We arrived about 20 minutes early, and our bays were ready exactly at the reserved time. We had plenty of time--about 2 1/2 hours--to enjoy playing, eating, and drinking. This amazing visit to Topgolf was headlined by our server and bay host Reece. He was so friendly and knowledgable, checked on us frequently as well. He brought me a tea refill before I asked for one, he was truly on top of it. Mediterranean trio was a great light appetizer, the baba ghanoush was the best out of the dips, while the tzatzki consistency was too thin for me. The tomato dipping sauce was the highlight of the grilled cheese dippers which had a lot bread to soak up the sauce. Grilled chicken sandwich is solid, again the sauce makes it delicious. Dijon aioli may just be my favorite sauce, it is perfectly balanced rich and tangy. Sports bar type atmosphere with semi private bays for rent. During the week and during the day are of course cheaper. Though they have taken away some of the classic games I love like Top Pressure and Quick 9, the new Field Goal Challenge and updates to Angry Birds are fun alternatives for those who just want to kick back and swing. The main attraction here is golf, it's kind of like a driving range, but there are targets to aim for and it's fun, no matter what your skill level is. There are other games here to keep you entertained as well. They also have food service and will bring it right to your bay, it's pretty tasty too. Of course they do serve beer as well. Such a great deal too. One hour for 3 of us to each have our own bay and hit over 100 golfballs was more cost-effective than splitting it as a group and taking turns, based on how much we actually got to swing. John was informative, friendly, gave digestible tips to help us implement small changes that has massive positive impacts, and he had a fantastic attitude the entire time. I am excited to do more lessons here and work on my swing. Superrrrr sore after 2 days, but I know that part will get easier with time!! read more

We went on a Tuesday for half priced games. We asked for a high top table and they weren't too busy so they were able to accommodate. I prefer the table when we plan to eat food. I had noticed they had updated the menu, games, and put in a few new larger and nicer couches (does cost extra). We enjoyed playing angry birds and block party. I'm glad they are keeping things fresh and fun but I do miss jewel jam and top pressure. What made our experience so great was the excellent service from Reece. He was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. He anticipated all our needs and we didn't have to ask for refills. We had such a good time we extended our play time. This evening, our group of 3 adults and 4 children had a very disappointing experience. As first-time visitors, it will unfortunately also be our last. When we arrived, we were told there was a 45-minute wait for a bay - even though it was dead at 7pm Tues. To make good use of the time, we went to eat. While we were closing out our restaurant tab, we were notified that our bay was ready. We asked for a 30-minute delay so we could finish our meal, which was accommodated. However, after returning, we ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes beyond that delay before our bay was actually available. By 8:50 PM, after spending well over the expected wait time, I spoke with the manager, "T"- (that's right he wouldn't give me his first name and made me wait 10 min to speak with him) and asked whether we could be given the 9:00 PM rate since our bay wasn't ready until essentially that time anyway. I also explained that one member of our group has MS and should not have been left standing and waiting for such an extended period. Despite the circumstances, there was little empathy shown and no effort made to provide a reasonable accommodation or customer-focused solution. What was most disappointing was not just the delay itself, but the complete lack of flexibility, concern, or willingness to make things right. Businesses make mistakes, but great customer service is about how those mistakes are handled. In this case, there seemed to be little consideration for a guest with a disability and no attempt to offer even a modest adjustment given the significant inconvenience. Overall, the experience was frustrating, poorly managed, and left our entire group feeling undervalued as customers. read more

We celebrated my oldest grandson Wyatt's 13th birthday at the Topgolf in Brandon, Florida, and it turned out to be one of the most wonderful parties we've had! When his mom made the reservations, they were accidentally booked under two different memberships, which would have placed us in separate bays on opposite sides of the same level. Thankfully, a very kind young man named Josh, who appeared to be in a management position, stepped in and graciously accommodated us by moving our bays together. His willingness to help truly made the day seamless and special. Wyatt, his friends, siblings, and cousin had the best time playing golf -- and the parents even joined in! I went to the Top golf in Vegas and got hooked or sliced , pun intended! This was my first time to the one in Tampa and it is as I remember. The game selection is a little on the confusing side as it's angry birds and either I just didn't see the objective or its not obvious but I wasn't sure where I was supposed to attempt to aim the ball. With that being said, the service was enjoyable and very attentive to my needs. The large screens and the swimming pool was also an interesting flash down memory lane. Now for the down side, the food and drinks were pricey. It already costs a couple Franklin's to golf per the hourly rate. All in all, save up some money and enjoy a day! read more

Went at 11am on Saturday, we had an upstairs reservation for 4. It's a great group place for friends, colleagues or just a casual date. The food is ok, traditional bar food. Two of us had hamburgers that were totally fine. They don't ask the doneness and we're all med well. The French fries are good. Crispy with nice flavor. Someone in our group had the turkey club and seemed to like it. Next time I'd try a flat bread as those looked good. As for the staff everyone was very helpful and super nice. Had such a blast! Rain or shine this is the place to be! Making a reservation was easy. I made it a week out. We arrived and the text communication was great. Part of our party was late and we were able to utilize the one time 30 minute extension. We ended up having to start after the 30 minute extension even though some were late. We were texted our bay number and escorted ourselves there. Upon arrival at our bay, an attendant helped us sign in, create profiles, and taught us how to play and make the most out of our night. Then our waitress came over and greeted us. We ordered drinks. The food looked and sounded amazing but we wanted to spend our time playing. We ended up adding an additional hour! We're from Virginia and usually have a great time at Topgolf, but the Tampa location was a different experience. My 8-year-old daughter wasn't able to enjoy it because her balls wouldn't register at all after switching games. The staff was very attentive and tried to help, but we eventually learned the issue was because we were on the first floor--something that should really be explained upfront, especially when seating families with kids. On the plus side, the food was good, and they did give us a $15 gift card for the trouble. Overall, not the best visit compared to other locations. read more

My husband company decided to have a company outing here. I was so glad they pick this place. It's been forever since I've been here. It can get a little pricey. Each time I've gone to Top Golf I've enjoyed it. Now they added an Angry Bird aspect to the game it was even more fun. We were able to toggle back & forth to the games Our server was on it. She ensure everyone had a drinks, chatted up with some of the staff. The humus & the pita were so delicious. The slider were done well. My favorite were the bbq boneless chicken wings.
