I've been looking forward to trying a Pilates class with reformers and modern equipment, so today I finally checked into an introductory 30-minute class. Check-in was smooth, and they communicated ahead of time by email that grip/Pilates socks were required. You could bring your own or purchase a pair there. I brought mine, but I was pleasantly surprised that the socks sold in the studio were reasonably priced. Fran welcomed us at the front desk, and Kristy guided us through the equipment and proper form. The class itself was interesting but definitely short. Even though the movements were simple, I could tell they were effective and targeted. Classes are offered by level, and the studio has memberships: 8 classes a month for $229 or unlimited for $260. Personally, the pricing feels a bit hefty, but it was still a really nice experience. I appreciated how laid-back they were when explaining the memberships--no pressure to sign up, which was refreshing compared to other fitness studios I've tried. read more

I recently tried the introductory class at Club Pilates, and overall, it was an okay experience. The studio itself is welcoming and well-maintained, and the instructor was fairly friendly and attentive. The class is only 30 minutes so i felt it was a bit rushed and the instructor seemed to be frustrated with us not understand some of her instructions as none of us have tried Pilates prior. Perhaps a longer intro class to accommodate better instruction would have made for a better experience. I have tailbone injury and was assured it wouldn't be aggravated by the movements using the reformer. Overall it was an experience worth trying, but not something I would sign up monthly for. read more

I've been going to Bayshore club Pilates for over 3 years, I started when they opened and I have no regrets, instructors come and go, but there are always classes. Even when I go on the waitlist I always get in. If any complaints, I would say that if you sign up for a class and can't make it, cancel so the next person could get it , don't just not show up. read more

Been going here almost a year now no regrets. Love the instructors in Bayshore, especially Angela she pushes you to do your best.

Overall 3.5/5 Very clean. Front desk is approachable but could be friendlier . Billing issues you might run into which is a bummer and the person who takes care of that issue works remotely so you have to contact them through the front desk. Getting into a class isn't as bad as I thought even if you're on a waitlist you usually get in. Is it work 220-260 a month ? Ehh if you do it strategically yes, considering if you go on the days with the perfect trainer - personally I favor Lauren, Jessica,Jill, Lacie, Marguerite, and Sierra they are the best!!! The other trainers Angela and Melissa are interesting... . overall if you can afford the monthly membership definitely go for it. read more

If I can give negative stars I would!!!..... I called on 3/27 to terminate my policy for so many reasons. I was told I had to continue to pay until my trial period was over. I told them that understood but after that I needed my policy to be terminated. They continued to charge my card!!!!!! She said she hopes I come back and I said when change I would consider this... but after this terrible experience they will never see a dime from me. Also they do not offer enough classes and they are always full. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE $199 a month and can never get into a class anyway. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but I have never in my life received such horrible service. I originally had an appointment on Saturday, but due to work I called on Friday to reschedule it for Monday at 12:30 pm. I arrived for my introductory class at 12:29 p.m. There were two people on line, one of them came to attend the class as well. We were both told that the class started already and they have a strict late policy. As I said I walked inside prior to 12:30 pm. When the person at the counter asked the instructor if we can still attend the class I heard the instructor say yes. When the person at the counter returned she still rudely said I couldn't join the class. I told her I took the day off of work to attend this class and her response was that she would reschedule my class for tomorrow. I asked to see a manager due to poor treatment I received. The manager gets to the counter at approximately 12:40 pm and stated that now it was too late to attend the class. I told them both that I was going to write a review because the person at the counter was very rude. She spoke to me rudely and stared at me like I didn't belong there. The only reason I believe she treated me and the female that was in front of me on line like that was because we both were African American females. After I walked out and the door closed, they turned the lock and locked the door. When I knocked on the door because I didn't know the name of the female behind the counter, the manager which I believe her name is Jen, unlocked the door and stuck her head out. She refused to give me the name of the female that was behind the counter after I told her that I wanted to make a complaint. I am a police officer and I am not a criminal. I should never have been treated this way. read more
