Pilates has especially helped relieve some chronic pain that I suffer due to repetitive use injuries (related to competitive gymnastics and diving in my youth). I've been attending this location more frequently lately because its close to my parents, but I still prefer all the other metro locations to this one. A few of the reasons this CPY is not my favorite: 1. I attended a 5pm Sculpt class that had no cardio - I've never been to a CPY Sculpt class with zero cardio in it, and I really missed it! 2. Are the classes not 60 minutes long? I've been to 2 classes that ended at 55 minutes. 3. I've felt rushed to leave the locker room if I want to shower after class. I don't take long showers, but I'd say at about 10 minutes after class the locker rooms start to shut down. The studio is very clean and has a good amount of showers with shampoo, conditioner, and soap included. Parking is also easy, as the studio is located in a strip mall. Overall, if you are in the area, this is a fine CorePower, but if you live closer to any of the others, I wouldn't go out of the way to attend classes here.

I tend to come here when life is tough and need to relax. The staff is always friendly and kind! I've only been to the downstairs room since I prefer the lit up wall in that one :) They blow fine salt into the room which can be a little noisy so that can be a bit distracting at first but I get use to it after a bit. We sat in lounge chairs and had a 45 minute session. You aren't doing much in the room. I had the opportunity to photograph Deb from Pain Free Posture the other day. I was very impressed…read morewith her. She was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. I have no doubt that she treats her clients just the same. Deb was very informed, and knowledgeable about different yoga poses, Pilates positions, and alignment exercises. From what I know of Yoga (a beginner) I was amazed at the positions she was able to hold. I am certain that many years of practice and training have gone into getting to where she is today. While in the studio, she started a conversation with someone else there about yoga and alignment. She knew exactly which joints required which type of movement, natural structure and flexibility required to reach some of the positions. I was impressed listening to her explain about the hip joint. The depth she knew was obvious, but she managed to explain in a clear and easy to understand manner what she wanted to say. If this one overheard conversation is any indication of what Deb can teach you, I can see that Deb would be a fabulous teacher, and would be able to help you with any alignment issues you have. I am definitely going to get to her studio myself.

She took me from severe back pain where they told me I had to have surgery to a fully functioning person with minimal pain and that creeps in only when I'm not doing my exercises. I'm not sure if I've written this in my other reviews, but she put me on a course to being a better human being. How you ask? Because the things we do to ourselves (like putting ourselves down, or thinking negatively) contribute to pain and she calls you out on it and helps you to turn it all around. So the combination of this with her body posture knowledge really can get you to the root cause of your issues and resolve them. I know Deb is the best. No one I've met since comes close and the awesome thing is she keeps advancing her knowledge and offering awesome group classes in Foundation Training that really is a game changer, especially when paired with Egoscue exercises as well. I can never say enough good things. If you're in pain, I recommend not solely relying on the doctors and physical therapists. Deb truly can help you greatly reduce or completely eliminate your pain. Give it a chance! You'll be amazed!
