    Very clean studio

I've completed 50 classes and love it! I used to do Bikram yoga and am an avid marathoner! All of the instructors are fantastic! My fav is David because he's just bad ass instructor and he will wake up and shake up your every single muscle. His classes are tough but you'll feel difference. Maggie is another tough cookie instructor - don't let her soft voice fool you - her classes are spicy and your body will feel that!!! Jennie is super awesome too! Im determined to find pre-pregnancy body back and I'm loving Pilates so far. Staff and facilities are excellent.

Really a great place to push yourself everyday. Thank you to Club Pilates in forte lee i have been able to get back into my daily practice and really keep pushing myself. At this CP location i have found the best instructors. They are super friendly, approachable and most important to me - very knowledgable. David, Maggie, Denise, Linda are really the best and really care and passionate about Pilates and the benefits that brings to our bodies everyday! I really couldn't be happier to have joined this club and I look forward to it every time - Join you really wont regret it!

Excited about Club Pilates new location in downtown Fort Lee. Amazing brand new studio filled with brand new reformers, spring towers, bosu balls, TRX towers and resistance chairs. Instructors are knowledgeable, invested in your success and everyone's ability to perform the exercises correctly - so you get the most benefit in a safe way. Safety protocol is in place and taken seriously at all times. Schedule covers all skill levels and preferences for different workouts utilizing all the available apparatuses- also as a male I want to say how comfortable I feel at this studio. Which is important to help focus and being able to concentrate on my breath and get the most from the workout. Can't wait to get back out to the golf course. Already feel stronger in my core and more flexibility in my back, legs, and shoulders!!! Remember your grip sox

The manager of club in englewood nj and fort lee admitting error!

Don't do it. The manager will tell you to just "book yourself on waitlist, don't worry about spot will open!" And we all have schedules to keep. We cannot wait anxiously for a waitlist spot to open at the last minute. Then when you finally find an open spot (and make sure you are booking at least 2 weeks in advance maybe more.... And if you book at the least desired studio and waitlist for your geographically desirable studio, and don't see they have made your waitlist into a booking you will be surprise charged on your credit card for egregious amounts. Find a real studio. One that doesn't have a manager CANCEL your membership for questioning the app and overall booking / cancellation process. I have spoken to a dozen other former members, all are in agreement ... this place blows.

I'm a fitness and wellness junkie who loves trying new ways to move my body. I've recently been…read morecurious about pilates and decided to take my first class at Impact Group Fitness in Fort Lee. I stumbled upon the studio on the ClassPass app. They're a one stop shop for HIIT, sculpt, and strength classes. They offer two different formats - low impact (sculpt, barre, pilates, yoga) and high impact (dance, strength, circuits, HIIT). I signed up for the 45 minute Mat Pilates class with Cassidy on a Tuesday night. They're located on a busy street, so you'll have to find metered parking. Upon walking in I was greeted by the warm receptionist. I signed a waiver and she gave me a tour. The studio is pretty small. It's squeaky clean, bright, and minimalistic. There's a "lobby"/waiting area with a merchandise display. They have changing rooms, a bathroom, coat hooks, and free lockers. They only have one group fitness room with a large mirror and barre. All of the equipment for the mat pilates class was already provided to us (mat, ankle weights, magic circle, and dumbbells). I like that the class sizes are small because I prefer a more intimate experience. There were about 12-15 of us. The instructor, Cassidy, started and ended the class right on time. Let me just say this. THIS WORKOUT HUMBLED ME. I consider myself to be a fairly fit individual, but this was a humbling experience. The workout was split into core, back, upper, and lower body with different exercises for each section. It was low impact with HIGH intensity and lots of reps. We focused on form, functional movement, and mind to muscle connection. Pilates has a big emphasis on targeting deep, stabilizing muscles through using precise movements. I was huffing and puffing LOL... I FELT THE BURN!!! My core stability, flexibility, and endurance was PUT TO WORKKKK. Definitely a challenge, but fun at the same time. Cassidy was encouraging and welcoming the entire time. There were women of all different shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. We didn't feel any pressure. She gave us modifications and corrections when needed. My only critique is that she could've paused and demonstrated each exercise before we started. She jumped right in after each set and it was a little hard to see her since I was in the far left corner. I also would've liked a little introduction to the class format before we began (especially for first timers), but that's just me being big on education lol. They have monthly memberships, class packs, and drop in rates. I'll be trying a few more classes through ClassPass and I may consider getting a membership afterwards. Should you try pilates? DUH. And for those who think it "looks or sounds easy".... OH PLEASE!!! Try it out for yourself. I absolutely think it's a workout that will be rewarding and challenging for everyone.

It was definitely challenging but she also gives you modifications and demos each workout before you do it. I felt the support and great energy from the staff here and other members. I'm excited to take more classes! I love how modern the decor is and the clean, bright space is very inviting. Parking isn't an issue and the establishment is located in the heart of Fort Lee.

It's a socialization hour for older women or seniors. If you are young, want a real pilates workout or professional studio- DO NOT COME HERE. It's a social hour, waste of time, and money. Hope, the owner, is oh so nice and considerate in the beginning promising you you everything, but she doesn't deliver. Hope, the owner, acts really caring, but it is all a show. Also-if you want an all female studio, DO NOT BOTHER. The owner, Hope, stated, she is culturally sensitive, understanding, and would not schedule male clients due to my cultural beliefs, but she did anyway after I signed up for $800 package. NO REFUNDS SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN UP FOR. She is really pushy and relentless into guilting you sign up for packages because she has money issues and keeps talking about how she wants to grow her business. She does an excellent job of making you feel bad about yourself. She will say you she doesn't have money to color her hair, which made me feel awkward and bad for her as well. I have never had this experience with other studios. People do not wear socks like other studios, nor clean afterwards. If you want to catch something be my guest. It's really disgusting. The mats and reformers are sweaty and smell. Hope, the owner, who was my instructor, does not listen to your needs and concerns. I gave her a chance, explained what I did and wanted like my last studio, but she doesn't LISTEN. She is stuck in her own head and world. Also, would not recommend coming to this studio unless you want to have an injury!!! Stay away!!!!! Many times, I verbalized I cannot do a movement and she kept pushing even though I was red in the face on many occasions, so I stopped going because my physician advise me to discontinue to prevent injury. I expressed my wishes for not wanting to come politely and asked for a refund for 3 classes. She wrote me a nasty and highly inappropriate email that left me in tears. During my one to one sessions, she would eat snacks, check her phone or text, and have conversations with others. The one to one session lack the attention, decorum, and professionalism like my other studio. YOU CANNOT CONCENTRATE. IT'S SO LOUD AND A NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT. ALL THEY DO IS COMPLAIN ALL DAY LONG AND GOSSIP. IT'S NOT RELAXING and it's sooooooo small of a space for group sessions and privates. The owner does spot appropriately and pulls your ponytail or hair instead of gently correcting her movement or position. She had a "so called funny anecdote" why she does so with clients, which is degrading and really awkward. If Hope (owner) is having a bad day, adult tantrum, or in crisis, she cannot control her emotions and the session becomes consoling her feelings and emotions, so your $80 session is DOWN THE TOILET AND YOUR TIME. You don't know what mood she is in. It's just super awkward. The owner is highly emotional, unstable, and unprofessional on so many levels. She does not have any professional boundaries and wants to get into your personal business. There are studios in Tenafly and Englewood that are so much better!! I didn't get a refund for the classes I didn't attend. I want warn potential clients because the reviews here are not reliable.

People reading this review, RUN from the Edgewater location. Find another brand! This has been the…read moremost exhausting and unprofessional customer experience I've ever had with a fitness company. Never again. Back in July 2025, I reached out to cancel my Elite membership at the Edgewater location due to financial hardship. I was told by the staff, "No problem, you won't be charged," only to find out later that they never processed the cancellation. I was charged $198 anyway. When I followed up, Gabe admitted, word for word, "That was my fault. I messed up." He promised to process it immediately, but he never did. I asked to be released from the contract. They agreed and admitted fault. But then they said, "We understand you're going through financial hardship. What if we froze your membership instead and processed your refund immediately?" I agreed only if the refund would actually be issued right away. They promised it would be. The refund never came. Between August 20 and October 6, I followed up seven times. Every time I was met with a new excuse. Gabe repeatedly admitted the refund had never been submitted. He said things like "I forgot" or "I messed up again." Other times he claimed they were waiting on owner approval. A few days later, he'd change his story and admit he never submitted it. Despite all his promises and apologies, nothing ever happened. It wasn't until I asked to escalate to the owner that Gabe finally rushed the refund through on Oct 6th. But even then, they refused to connect me with ownership. They refused to cancel my membership even though they didn't hold up their end of the bargain. They also refused to apply the refund toward the cancellation fee of $218. I told them they already had the $198, and they could apply it toward the balance so I could walk away peacefully after being TERRIBLY mishandled. I even offered to cover the remaining $20 myself. They still said no, we won't do that. I was denied when I asked to speak to the owner. I emailed the owner directly and never received a response. I reached out to corporate and have not heard back. I am now preparing to escalate through other channels. The lack of professionalism and accountability here is staggering. After reading other reviews, it's clear this is not an isolated incident. This studio has a pattern of overcharging customers, holding on to money that doesn't belong to them, refusing cancellations, and dragging out refund requests for months. Customers are left chasing the studio just to get basic issues resolved. That is completely unacceptable. They clearly prioritize contracts over a people. But if they had chosen to value people over money, they would have recognized this as an opportunity to preserve trust and retain a client long-term. Instead, they burned a bridge, all to cling to a two-month fee that was already covered. The funds for the cancellation were in hand, and they still refused, despite openly acknowledging their mishandling. Any brand with integrity would have recognized that it's the small breaches, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyard. This could have been a moment to make things right. Instead, they deflected, delayed, and claimed their hands were tied. No, this wasn't about policy. It was about greed! And now, a customer who might have returned months down the line will never trust them again. Orangetheory Edgewater -- do better. And to corporate, if this is the standard being allowed under your franchise, it's a serious stain on the brand.
