I joined Club Pilates in Redmond a month ago and have had a great experience all up. Onboarding was easy, all instructors were great and checked in even more when they knew I was new and every session has been good so far. I also like the convenience of the location and the speed of getting in and out as I am usually joining on my way to work or just after work , so lesser time spent in traffic , parking , changing , checkin etc is always better . I have been a member of Cub Pilates in Redmond for 5 months. I am addicted! I am starting to see progress in muscle definition and in my flexibility. The classes are small and the instructors are very knowledgeable. They take the time to correct your form and suggest modifications if needed. The only complaint I have is that the classes fill up very quickly. read more

I drove by the Woodinville Club Pilates for a couple of years thinking that I should really check them out. I had some amateur experience with Pilates over a dozen years ago when a masseuse friend needed to get hours for her certification and gave me cheap classes and had enjoyed it. When I finally signed up, I ended up going with the Redmond location due to proximity to my work. I actually didn't even know it was there on Redmond Way next to Trader Joe's. But I'm so glad I chose this location. It's been a few months now and I love it. The staff is kind, the instructors I've learned under (Tae, Jim, Grace, Helen) have been wonderful but also very different in the best of ways. But as much as I appreciate all their instructors, in my opinion, Jim is the rockstar of Club Pilates Redmond. Is it his stories and "dad jokes"? Sure. Is it the hip playlists he assembles filled with amazing music from the last forty years (lots of obscure covers and so much more). Of course. But it's really that he has the heart of a teacher and cares so much about the education, safety and growth of his students. I'm almost hesitant to say this as I don't want wait list for his classes to balloon if word gets out, but I can't deny the praise he deserves. Oh and I should add- I'm male, and it's rare that there may be one other guy in classes with me, and I'm pretty sure the ones I've seen are all there with other women. I'm not sure why this is (other than the smarter of the species knowing what's up!) Pilates is such an amazing core strengthener, and at age 51 my legs and abs are more ripped and defined then they've ever been. Even if you are a gym rat (which I am not), these workouts will give you a run for your money and be so beneficial to your other physical efforts. Or if you aren't in the greatest of shape (see above re: "age 51" not to mention a propensity for burgers and wine), this will be so beneficial to your physical health and well being that you will be doing your future self such a major favor. read more

I really enjoy this Pilates studio. The instructors are great, there are many time slots available to accommodate different schedules (though they do book up about a week in advance - they have a waitlist system, and even when there are like 6 people on the waitlist, I have gotten in). And they have nice touches - little things like extra hair ties and lotion in the bathroom. I think ownership changed hands in the past few months, and you can see that they really care about the place. Like with any studio, you have to try out different instructors to find the ones you like best. They also have an intro class to show you how the reformer works, and then they explain how the pricing works. I started with just 4 classes a month because I wasn't sure about my schedule, but I started enjoying it so much, I doubled that and made it a priority in my schedule. I'm hooked! read more

I have been an unlimited member at Club Pilates Redmond for almost two years, and I feel so much more alive, fit, flexible and have improved my balance and strength. I am a senior and am not skinny, and I have arthritis in my knees, hips, hands and feet - but these issues have not stopped me from benefiting from pilates; each instructor has helped me modify the movements as needed, in a respectful and discreet way. I never feel like I am in competition with those who may be younger, slimmer or more capable, as I get so much out of the classes, and the kindness and camaraderie is genuine. They also have monthly drives for food, toys, pet shelters, dress for success for people needing work clothes, and many other great causes. A business with a conscious. I wish I could give a review of Club Pilates for its classes. But after three emails, two phone calls, and one visit... Apparently no one wants to get back to me about private classes. Customer service is everything and this place clearly doesn't recognize that. Others may have had a different experience. I called two other places and had calls within a day. I've always been intimidated by the thought of pilates, but took an Intro class at the Redmond location and really enjoyed it. The instructors were very knowledgeable and encouraging and showed us the basics of the reformer. In just 30 minutes I worked muscles I didn't know I had! I highly recommend this studio! read more

I love, love, love Club Pilates. I've been a Club Pilates member for 2-1/2 years. With Pilates & diet changes, I have lost 25 lbs & have removed 2 medications for high cholesterol. Every instructor is experienced & understands the movement of the body & if I need a modification to an exercise they graciously offer an alternative. Without Club Pilates I would be a typical elderly lady with physical limitations & pain. So, Club Pilates forever for me! read more

I've been a unlimited club member for three months now. It's been cool to have a new place to workout. I was formerly a Redmond Bar Method member, and what I miss the most is the close knit family we had there. Club Pilates could be that place, but when you workout with masks it's hard to get to know peoples faces and names. I look forward to being able to workout mask free again, get to know my classmates better. Classes are small, and all the teachers are great. The classes I enjoy the most are those taught by Sharon and Michelle. Both have years of experience, and they keep the classes fun. I never feel like I take the same class twice with them. Their lessons are prepared with little down time between each exercise which keeps the pace of your class moving. Classes are 50 minutes, and they maximize each minute. They keep class challenging, which is much appreciated. As an unlimited member, and someone who comes often, I really appreciate this because it doesn't feel like the same class everyday. It doesn't feel like these two are just going through the motions. They also make us laugh and give great audibles on form. CP's offers a wide number of workout options each month, at every level. My core is stronger, and my arms are more defined. If you join here, it's worth it to commit to coming 5-6 times a week if you want to see changes. If you come less than that, you'll feel good but consistency is key. Although I do come often, I feel like I'd see bigger changes by adding more cardio on top of Pilates. As for the gym's cleanliness, this place is tidy. They are constantly cleaning. When you're workout is over, you clean your own station. Scheduling can be a mess if you don't cancel within the proper amount of time. And sometimes the app does weird things like not add you to class. If you don't cancel in time you are charged $10, and if you miss a class you're charged $15. This part really bothers me when you're paying for unlimited. I feel there should be more flex on this rule for how much you pay for unlimited. There should be a benefit for those who pay for unlimited and are committed to coming frequently. Sometimes my work gets busy and I'm not able to make it or childcare falls through at the last second. I feel like I should have a bit more understanding during these times. However, when it's my fault and poor planning I'm happy to take the hit. It's a two way street here. This place will earn 5 stars when: -they build their sense of community -all teachers commit to changing things up, and don't go through the motions. -unlimited members gain a bit more flexibility with scheduling. read more

I have been a member almost since Club Pilates Redmond first opened. I like that the studio is always clean and bright and the equipment is modern and updated all the time. The instructors are great! Fun and professional! The scheduling is easy and there are usually plenty of classes to pick from. Although some more popular times and instructors do fill up pretty fast and you need to register a few weeks in advance to get your spot. Overall a great experience that I will continue to enjoy! read more

I'm hesitant to give this place a lower review but have no choice based on the recent headache inducing experience with them. I love Pilates, and have been looking for a good place to practice post Covid. Came across them, and made the giant mistake of filling my info into their website while creating an account and trying to register for a class. I didn't finish the booking due to conflicts at the time regarding timing, but since that day I have received no less than 5 phone calls, and multiple text messages re: joining them for a class. I was nice to all their reps until the last one and just told them to please stop calling and I'll book when I'm ready. Extremely high pressure sales tactics, even after I told them repeatedly to stop calling and I'll book when I'm ready. It makes me wary of ever going there, if I'm being truly honest. Very stressful experience so far. read more

I've been attending classes at Club Pilates Redmond for 1.5 years (started with zero experience), and it has been a very positive and rewarding experience. The instructors are wonderful -- so knowledgeable and helpful. The true test to improvement of my physical strength was that I did an entire day of hard yard work recently and felt just a little sore the next day, no need for Advil or Tylenol. Before Club Pilates I would have been popping Tylenol and hobbling in soreness for a few days afterward. I feel so much better after a Pilates class, and I'm grateful to have this awesome resource in Redmond! read more

I've been going to Club Pilates Redmond for a number of years - I love reformer classes and Club Pilates is the most economical offering for reformer classes in the area. I love the flexibility in booking classes via the app and having lots of time slots to choose from. I definitely have favorite instructors but even the newer ones have surprised me and are all quite good. The location has monthly challenges and social events - I've been to a few of those and always found the staff and broader community super friendly. read more

I started at Club Pilates Redmond a couple of years ago. They have many great instructors. I look forward to classes, knowing I am going to get stretched, stronger and challenged. My balance has really improved as well as my overall strength. My back and core are much better and my shoulders have loosened up. Every class is something new and they have many styles to choose from. I have unlimited classes which is a great deal. I go 3-4 times a week. The staff are warm, positive and very knowledgeable. Most instructors are talking a lot, giving tips on subtle position tweaks to get the most out of an exercise and to prevent injury. read more

Their grip socks policy was a joke, it's not a free first class if you are requiring $16 grip socks. When I was in Arizona, I did Pilates a couple times had great experiences where I did the classes barefoot. The instructor Jim seemed nice though he had no problem with it it was management. I'm sure it would have been a solid class if I was able to do it. read more

I have been a member of Club Pilates for almost three years. I attend an average of five classes per week. I cannot recommend CP high enough. I am stronger, leaner than I have been ever as an adult. I am 52 years old with more energy and zero aches and pains. Prior to joining CP I had been getting cortisone shots in my back, I was exhausted, thirty pounds heavier and just feeling old. I feel like I have a brand new lease on life. A HUGE SHOUT OUT to teachers Sharon, Marcella, Tae, Emi and Celine. The classes are fun, I'm never bored and I've made several new friends. Like with everything in life - you get out what you put in -commit, do the work and it will change you. CP is a habit that I will never give up! read more

I've enjoyed classes at Club Pilates since 2019. I continued paying my unlimited membership during Covid closure to support the business and employee. Over the last year classes have beco impossible to book due to oversold memberships. It takes a minimum of 6 weeks to get an actual confirmed class and most waitlists for popular classes are 12 people long. Unless you have a very fixed schedule and you're willing to pay for a membership without access to actual classes for the first 6 weeks I wouldn't recommend this studio. When I called to cancel they require 30 days notice which means I have to pay for another month during which I can't book any classes. They didn't even ask why I wanted to cancel. read more

I waited some weeks to reflect about my experience here and understand the system of this kind of gyms. I read some good comments of this location and decided to get fully into the experience. Meaning taking the Intro class (just 30mins of basic basic stuff and chat with the Manager) and believing in them because you have to commit for 3 months at least. My first impression was that they were really underlying that they do not like cancellations. They shared that teachers get paid per attendant. I get that but the comment made me feel a huge commitment on defying since the beginning about my own agenda. I mean, things can change and I don't like the PT scheme of filling the whole month calendar and this was kind of that. People can loose a spot because everything gets so full days in advanced. But at the same time you don't know if they (or you) are going to make it :S I feel the pressure! I would like to feel more free and relaxed in a gym :( Memberships can be 4 classes, 10 classes or 15 classes (not so Unlimited as the name states. This was a shocker to me). You'll see benefits with 3 times a week :) The second thing I noticed was that Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Eventhough they didn't know about a promotion, they investigate about it and told me they were going to apply it but haven't seen anything yet :( Everything depends on each franchise. So maybe others move differently. I tried to take a class with each teacher. They teach on different days and some classes are just on 1 day of the week so that is inconvenient. But again, different franchises manage this differently. You could get into others' paying an extra fee. Teachers are very good and patient. Super friendly. Each focus on different things so you better define what you want to work in specific (footwork, stretching, for example). Of course they will know some students better and wilm pay attention to them but I think they will also be paying attention to everyone while walking around the room. I wish they could be more incisive with corrections though hahaha And you can always raise your hand to ask a question ;) Wish they could start classes super sharply. One thing I felt was that teachers would avoid touching your feet or legs (you must use sticky socks). Touching feet or sweat might not be a coup of tea but after being in different studios, I can tell you that best teachers will help you with postures placing your feet with at least a finger, nail, or sides of the hand. So if you're new to this technique, it can be challenging while lying down. I read in blogs about the atmosphere making a difference between yoga and pilates. My feeling is that this studio concept is a bit snobby. Starting with payment. Please don't take it wrong because it will depend on attendants and each class is different as they say :) Must say that the equipment is worth it if you get into advanced classes. It is cute and convenient. BTW, noticed that some people don't clean the barre and circle. They will encourage you to get some personal stuff then. read more

I joined Club Pilates in Redmond at the end of June and it was the best decision I've ever made for myself! I'm very tall, lanky and super awkward... so I was desperate to strengthen my core and get a little balance back into my life. The reformer classes kick my ass and I've noticed a big change in my body and my energy. I have never had a butt, and I swear it's starting to look like one! Ashleigh and Kari are my go-to gals! I'm obsessed with the Level 2 Reformer workouts (SO FUN). All of the instructors are excellent and everyone who works here is super nice. read more

I have never written a review let alone a bad one, but the billing practices of this place are appalling. I decided to cancel my membership as I could not afford it anymore and I called twice, and was told to write an email. I wrote an email and was told by CJ the manager that my 30 day notice was put in, and at the BOTTOM of the email wrote, mentioned that in 30 days it could be my last day. I did not see that part, but I figured with their words "30 day notice" that everything was taken care of. This was June 2023, and I saw in January 2024 that I had been charged every month! I wrote them another email, called twice, left voicemails saying I am going to dispute the charges with my bank, and after billing me two more times, they FINALLY answered on Friday March 1st, giving me a form to fill out to actually cancel my membership. It is absolutely ridiculous that my issue is STILL not resolved and they were still charging me. DO NOT OPEN A MEMBERSHIP HERE. They are shady, and if you cancel before the first 3 months you have to pay a 100$ fee. Serious money grab. I wanted to come back and mention Ishwari who ended up answering my email and was able to help me out. Thank you so much to them. I am not at all upset with the employees but the company as a whole should seriously change the way they go about memberships. read more

Having gotten to know the fitness scene in the Bay Area a little too well the year before, I was very pleasantly surprised that the world had not come to an end and fitness minded women are not being body shamed into calling themselves lesbians to avoid unwanted cat calling and sexual harassment. The instructors and staff of Club Pilates in Redmond make the experience one I look forward to and actually enjoy. Walking in the door, a person feels welcomed and wanted. The instructors listen to what a person wants to accomplish and then within the class framework, help to achieve that goal. In late June 2018, I started physical therapy for a partially torn meniscus, with a plan for 6 months of therapy. In mid-July 2018, I started attending Club Pilates in Redmond. I made sure to talk to my instructors about my injury, and each one ensured to check in often and modify exercises that I could not yet do. Shortly after starting, my physical therapist and I had several long discussion about what exercises I did in class and she gave the option of the classes could be used in lieu of her assigned exercises on those days I went to class. In September, 2018 I started classes 5 days a week. At the end of September, I was dismissed from physical therapy after only 3 months, with the admonition to continue with Pilates. I take most of my classes in the morning with Jen, and also take classes with Janna and Wendy. Jen has consistently challenged me to step-it up, and to work on form. She has a gift for correcting form without making a person feel as though they had done something wrong, but giving the ability to do it better. My skiing has definitely improved greatly this year, and when I ski, I can hear Jen saying "Take your abs with you." Jen teaches with laughter and encouragement, and her classes always leave me feeling upbeat. I take Janna's TRX class once a week, and it leaves me flat every time. She makes us work, but notices those incremental changes, and points them out, encouraging me to continue to strive for improvement. She keeps the class positive, moving, and working and keeps tweaking our forms until correct. Wendy has started recently teaching in the mornings, and I have taken a few of her Monday classes. I love walking into her greeting and smiles. She continually adds in new elements and pushes the class. One of the best things is walking in the morning and having Claudia greet everyone as they walk in the door by name. She also works to add in additional activities for members from having a member come in to give hand pamperings, to a massage therapist, a nutritionist giving education and more. I leave every day from my class with a smile, often laughter, and connecting with not just the people who work here, but with other members. It sounds cliché, but true: Starting classes here has impacted my physical health and has given me a positive atmosphere filled with amazing women who help me start my day with purpose, a feeling of accomplishment, and joy. read more

Great studio and a good variety of instructors, class levels and types. Basically there is something for everyone. I'd give five stars but noise is a problem. The lobby is open to the studio so when people come in to talk to the front desk staff or arrive for class, it gets very noisy. When both staff and customers are talking loudly the sound really disrupts class and is often louder than the instructor. Not a good environment. read more
