They put efforts in knowing you, remembering your name and making it personal. The coaches are also awesome - Sarah, Kristian are my favorite! The studio itself it clean, has adequate space, parking is never a challenge and a fun place. Some hot time slots have waitlists but they clear up fast. Overall, I feel connected to this studio and recommend coming here for good music, getting stronger and having a sense of community

I've heard these classes are really intense. I like the cardio element but I didn't find it as challenging as everyone says it is. The strength training killed my knees as some of the exercises you are on the floor (really hard surface) and also on the bench. I wanted to skip all of these for the sake of my knees but I survived. All in all, I say an average workout. I did burn 393 calories which is great!

But also take this with a grain of salt since I've only taken one class - the red light heated yin restorative yoga. But I had to write a review since I love the red light aspect of the heated yoga class. My skin felt smoother and softer after one class, which I didn't know was possible?! Besides that though, everyone here has been really nice. I love that they provide face towels for your class and have two showers with all the products you could ever ask for. Additionally, though the studio space was small, I still felt like there was enough space for everyone to be evenly spread out and still have a rejuvenating experience. I'll be back!

It was my first class and they do accept class pass but it's $35 for drop in. I tried out the red light hot yoga class and immediately felt like a lizard under some heat lamps as I stepped in. The class was packed mat edge to edge. The red lights and mirrors really highlight cellulite so you really come to love yourself by the end. This is the kind of class where the teacher adds some oomf in addition to the typical cues for moves. There was some mild trauma dumping which led into some life lessons and inspirational quotes. The entire duration of the class was kept white hot so you will sweat. They offer their own mats but you can bring a towel or light mat to lay on top. I definitely felt like a fully finished rotisserie chicken by the end but the cold towels were so welcome. Be prepared to stretch, sweat and feel enlightened.

This was an evening Sculpt and Flow class taught by Jolly. The class was quite challenging, focusing on a full body strength workout with weights. It was heated at the "warm" level. (All YogaSix classes are heated to the "warm" level or to "hot" level.) I'd say the Sculpt and Flow class was about 75% strength training/core workouts and 25% yoga/flexibility. I was definitely caught off guard by the intensity but proud of myself for making it through. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They answered all of our questions after the session was over. You can rent mats for $3 or bring your own. The parking situation was a bit difficult, as the street was a bit dark. You either have to find street parking, or park at Whole Foods (across the street). Luckily, none of the street parking is metered. It's nice that this location is fairly close to me. Looking forward to trying all the different types of classes that this location has to offer!

However, please please, please take an intro class before your first real class, and also show up at least 15 minutes before class starts. It is unfair to others who are taking the class, and to instructors, to have people walking in right when class is about to start who need to be checked in, given instruction on how to use the machine, perform the moves, etc. You showing up early sets yourself up for the best possible class, and keeps everyone on schedule and the classes fire. BODYROK is fast paced, you'll thank yourself for taking the intro class and being early to get yourself properly situated. Original Review: The Pilates hype is real and BODYROK is where you want to be! I have now taken 30 classes, and my body has improved tremendously in both composition and strength. I dabbled in mixed martial arts and bodybuilding my early 20's, am an avid runner, and nothing compares to the results I have seen from Pilates. At 37 years old, I look the best I ever have, thanks to BODYROK! The instructors are extremely helpful (shoutout to Simone, Kelley, and Ari for our early weekday burns!) the community is super inviting for all fitness levels and ages, and everyone is so kind. The workouts are challenging and there are always modifications offered if you are struggling with a certain move. Don't even get me started on the esthetics of the studio, that and the music are a vibe! They consistently host events which is just so much fun to be a part of and really gets everyone engaged. A large group of my girlfriends and I all signed up and we enjoy spending quality time with each other while improving ourselves. A few of our birthday celebrations were spent with a Sunday morning Pilates class and brunch after. The Pilates community has me hooked, thanks to BODYROK! The reformers were already set up, and there were only five, so it was a small class. I practice Lagree regularly, and this was my first time trying pilates. Johann went over the different parts of the machine, but I was still a little underprepared. We didn't go over how the springs worked, and I had to figure it out during class. Again, it being my first time doing pilates, the moves were not clear to me, and I had no idea what I was doing. The basics weren't clear, so I personally would have been better prepared if I knew them. There apparently is a parking lot but I was unable to find it. There was, however, free two-hour street parking so I opted for that.

This past Tuesday, we decided to drop in to watch a World Cup soccer match, and to our surprise, the place was packed! I approached Alex to ask if there was any available seating, and he went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did he help us find a spot, but he also checked in on us throughout the evening to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. What really stood out was how Alex treated everyone around him. He was constantly walking around, checking on guests and making sure everything was running smoothly. Thanks to his exceptional service, we had a fantastic time! A huge thank you to Alex and the entire team at The Plex for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to come back!

Special shout-out to Matt Ginion for being such a great professional trainer and coach. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in detail (from movement techniques to outside the gym best practices, nutrition, recovery, etc.). Also shout-out to Ms. Leah for her amazing work ethic and great attitude. It's impressive that she knows so many of the members by their names and brings so much energy to the club.
