I decided to try a number of yoga studios in my area to compare as I plan to get a membership, and this was one of them. I tried a slow restorative yoga class, but it was neither slow not restorative, but rather fast paced and pretty intense! We didn't really hold poses long at all, and it was a cardio workout. The teacher was nice enough, but fairly perfunctory. Overall, it is a good choice for more advanced practitioners and those who want a cardio workout. When looking at the pictures of the studio here on Yelp, I was a little creeped out noticing studio photos apparently taken in the back of the class by Yelp posters during class. Cell phones should not be permitted in the studio, and, worse, no one should be taking pictures of classmates and posting them on Yelp. It seems a violation of privacy. Update as of 10/20: The comment on my review from the owner was completely rewritten today - that is not their original response back to me which was rude and attempting to gaslight me and convince me that I was "wrong" in my actual experience. Very weird and unprofessional behavior by this business owner. Update: Got an immediate response from the owner attempting to invalidate my experience - see below. I DM'ed them and they continued to argue with me about how I'm "wrong". Very weird and unprofessional behavior by a business owner. This place does not deserve the 1 star needed to leave a review. The owner Ajnavi is incredibly rude and absolutely terrible at communicating. When called out for her poor behavior over the phone, she gave me the full name of one of her other employees to try to place the blame on them. Even if it was their fault, giving out your employees information is so unsafe and unprofessional. The instructor I had offered no modifications, even after asking for them specifically, and the bathroom was dirty and had no supplies. There are so many better yoga studios in the area who have kind staff and owners, better prices, and a much more inclusive and welcoming environment, especially for beginners. In 2024, I would have given this studio 5 stars. But with getting rid of towels/pillow cases for necessary class props and my past few visits, they get 3 stars. My last couple restore classes have been anything but what restore is meant to be, relaxing. In a previous restore class, they added in 6 students, maxing out the class capacity (which is fine). However, one of those students was allowed in late and settled in right next to me. Anyone coming into class late is distracting, especially when it's a calming restore class that already started. These students also kept adjusting each other and drawing attention to them throughout the hour long class which was also distracting. Despite my previous restore class not being the relaxing class I enjoy and am used to, I gave it another shot today. Today was probably the worst one I've attended in my year+ of being a member. There was a member event going on tonight in the lobby (which is fine), but the loud lobby could be heard for the entire hour of the restore class and was extremely distracting. The music and instructor tonight was also much louder than usual, and was far off from Zareen's usual amazing relaxing restore classes. Tonight's instructor seemed to be new, and didn't ask if it was ok to touch me (which instructors in the past always asked for permission first). This studio used to provide pillow cases for the bolsters, dry towels for class, wet scented towels to wipe your sweat after class, and the instructor used to wave around a mint scented towel at the end of class during the cool down. These are all things that the studio provided for majority of the time I've been a member, but got rid of which is extremely disappointing. It's completely changed the ambiance of this studio. It is very off putting to show up for a class, ask the front desk for a towel and pillow case and be rudely told "you have to rent a pillow case for $3" when they used to be provided to everyone. I never received an email or any form of notice of these changes to bring my own. read more

I've been coming here for a few months now and enjoy it. I was a total beginner and first started on a promo as I wasn't sure if Yoga was for me and didn't want to commit right away. I like that they have classes for every level and classes throughout the day to meet everyone's schedule. I prefer to come after work and since I work from home and traveling to the studio is great, I don't live too far. After my trial was over I decided to be a member, I have the unlimited membership which gives the flexibility of trying as many classes as I can. I really like all the instructors, I do have a couple of favorites but everyone is nice and great! If you're new to yoga or looking for a new studio give them a try! read more

I've been enjoying coming to this studio. They have the same owners as the YogaSix Saratoga studio so going to both is quite easy. The classes here are tough so definitely be prepared to sweat. No matter where you are in your yoga practice, the coaches here do a really good job of adjusting the rigor of the class to tailor it by offering variations to each pose. read more

First, I love what the studio is trying to accomplish by building a community and the instructors were all great. The biggest concern here is that the class temperatures are controlled by the corporate office and are frequently higher than the stated ranges for the "cooler" classes, sometimes more than 5 degrees hotter than the posted/stated range. While some might not find this a big deal, overheating, feeling nauseous, and almost passing out in class is not healthy or fun. The other drawback is when trying to cancel membership. It was not written anywhere that you can not cancel your membership while on a freeze. When trying to cancel, I stated this, and was told "it's obvious", which was quite demeaning. If there wasn't an issue with the temperatures and my health, I would have considered hanging on to the membership. But the lack of response from corporate on the class temperatures, coupled with how my cancelation request was handled, left a sour taste. Despite these issues, I still recommend the studio to others as the classes were great for those who can handle the heat. The studio's intention to build community through yoga is a great goal and Ajnavi (the owner) is a wonderful human with a beautiful heart. read more

I have been attending yoga classes at this studio since Aug 2023. I love the yoga teachers and staff and yogi community. I loved practicing yoga here so much that I joined the Yoga Teacher Training program in Winter/Spring 2024, I am learning so much more in depth about yoga and have met a great group of fellow yogis who have become close friends with me. It's such a clean environment and welcoming community! I practice yoga here almost everyday taking a variety of yoga classes from restore, hot, power, sculpt and flow, slow flow, etc. The temperature of the yoga room is optimal for relaxing the muscles and relieve aches and pain naturally by improving the blood circulation and by relieving stress. I have been able to get rid of my chronic back pain naturally by practicing yoga everyday at this studio. read more

They have awesome class milestone prizes as well as the monthly membership perks with Cyclebar Los Gatos and Barre3 Willow Glen. Katrina's Y6 Power, 101 and Hot are amazing. Amber's Y6 Sculpt and Flow is a must try; challenging and super fun. Jyoti's 101 focuses on the whole body and you just want to keep coming back. There is no shower facility but the studio is clean with yoga mat marks on the floor. They provide free sweat towel and full set of props as well as a cooling minty tower after each class. I've met so many friends and colleagues here. It's my favorite studio in San Jose/Willow Glen/Campbell area. read more

Yesterday was my first EVER hot yoga class and Amber made it awesome! It's only $10 to try your first class, which I thought was pretty reasonable, and I had an easy time signing up online. The studio itself was very clean and upon entering the yoga room, I already had a mat, some dumbbells, and a resistance band waiting for me. Amber had great energy and I didn't have a hard time following along with the class (Y6 Sculpt & Flow), even though I know little to nothing about yoga - I pretty much just did what everyone else was doing. The movements themselves aren't particularly intense but it is HOT in that room so by the end, I was drenched in sweat. Like, my workout set was a totally different color than it was when I'd arrived. I also really appreciated the music - lots of Britney Spears. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthitis and Osteoarthritis in my spine. I could only get relief with hot/moist heat. Yoga Six provides an awesome workout. It provides relief to my stiff joints. I love the variety of classes: They range from restorative to power. The classes offer all the great parts of Bikram without the oppressive heat and the dull repetitive, unattainable asanas. YogaSix was the first studio where I took an indoor class since the pandemic. It was really wonderful to be back. I felt super comfortable taking a class indoor at YogaSix, because I found that the staff went above and beyond to ensure the studio was kept cleaned and sanitized. Hand sanitizer was readily available, spacing between mats was clearly outlined, and masks were required. The space itself was beautiful and aesthetic. I thought it was cool how the studio lights could be changed to fit the ambiance of a class format. I've so far taken 3 formats with 3 different teachers: - Y6 Power with Carla - Y6 Hot with Brit - Y6 Restore with Abby I enjoyed all 3 styles, and I thought they were amazing. Each teacher had her own custom playlists to attribute to the vibe of the class. They were friendly and helpful, so I genuinely felt welcomed to the YogaSix community. I have been going to YogaSix Campbell for over two years now and I love it! The teachers are great, and the team is super attentive. The space is clean and cozy, parking is easy. The studio offers classes for all levels, and you are encouraged to listen to your body and modify your practice as needed. I love all classes, and the sensory experience. I took the Y6 Restore class as a first timer. I read through their website to look for a class that wasn't heated. There was no mention of this in the class description for the Y6 Restore. To be sure, I came to the studio a little early and asked "Is this class heated?" They answered no. The class was heated to 90 degrees. As a pregnant person, you cannot take heated yoga classes. You can only imagine my concern at this point.... When confronted after the class, I asked why they told me the class wasn't heated when it clearly was. Their answer? "Oh all of our classes are heated, this one is just the LEAST amount of heat." What the actual fuck? I love YogaSix Campbell! The studio is very clean, there's always plenty of easy parking out front, and the staff are all very friendly. I'm also a huge fan of the whole sensory experience thing they have going on with the low mood lighting, which is wonderful since I suffer from chronic migraines and am sensitive to bright lights. If you love heated yoga, you gotta check out this spot. They have a wide variety of classes to choose from, but my favorites would have to be the power classes. I'm a sucker for heated power yoga flows and come to Jennifer and Carmen's evening classes regularly. They are both amazing instructors, but so are all the other instructors at this studio. The restorative classes are also very helpful to take in combination with the power classes. As our poor little bodies age, restorative yoga becomes more and more important, especially if you want to avoid injuries. I sometimes go too hard in my workouts and am finding that restore balances things out. I recently suffered from a running injury and hurt my piriformis, but thanks to lots of restorative postures, I'm now on the road to recovery. My absolute favorite place to be! The teachers are wonderful and diverse. I have grown spiritually, mentally, and physically here. The teaching is hands on (if you desire) and applicable to anyone-- no matter where you are in your practice. Facilities are always clean, the crew is always sweet, helpful and so personable! I love love love my new yoga home! Yoga Six is diverse in teaching styles, motivational styles and flow, bringing something for everyone. Each class I'm able to create an intention that I'm always able to execute. My favorite classes have got to be the 6am Yoga Sculpt and Yoga Power classes with Gee. Being that I need a burst in the morning to deal with my fast-paced day, Gee gives the perfect semi-intense, but balanced, class flow I need to tone, increase my endurance and sharpen my mind. I've been a member here for almost 3 month now, and I love it. I definitely liked the instructors, I love the classes with Ritu, Carla, Molly. I usually take their Y6 Restore, Y6 101, Y6 Sculpt & Flow,Y6 Slow Flow and Y6 Hot classes. I appreciate how they break down the asanas and build that foundation safely and ACCOMODATE EVERY BODY TYPE!! That is huge for determining if a yoga instructor will be a good fit for you. They are also always open to feedback on how the classes can be improved. Ajnavi she is wonderful, ready to help and answer any and all questions. So being that this is hot yoga, yes, it is hot yoga. The point is to sweat and detox the body. For those who are new to hot yoga, it's about being patient with yourself and gently allowing your body to acclimate to the heat. Yoga6 is a wonderful place for exercise and yoga (of course). The teachers are kind and supportive of all levels in class. The classes are consistent but also change enough to make each class interesting and dynamic. The yoga room is clean and kept at 80ish to 95 degrees depending on the class. Love the Campbell YogaSix studio, it has a family vibe and everyone is so welcoming. A studio that sees you as a person vs. a number is hard to find and all of the yoga instructors, studio manager and front desk interns greet you with a warm smile. As for the classes, I enjoy the challenge of the sculpt & flow classes (mix of yoga, cardio and weight training) set in a warm-hot room keeping you on your toes. The Y6 Hot & Power classes are also amazing and Brit & Abby are my go to instructors for those. They keep it fun and quirky which keep the classes light. The people attending the class are friendly and it has a mix of advanced and beginner students which made me feel comfortable getting back into yoga without the fear of feeling judged. I think they're still doing a promo to try a class for free at the Campbell location. Give it a try if you're looking to get back into yoga or to try something new.
