I wanted to take a yoga sculpt class with my friend so we found availability on a Saturday morning. It was pretty easy to book through class pass. We came 15 mins early. They asked for our IDs when checking in and since it was my first time the instructor showed me around the studio. They explained to the class that they needed to check ID for security purposes. This class was super packed. I think there were 20 people in the class. Boy does this class get really hot. I was sweating and the work outs were very challenging but it felt rewarding. The instructor did a good job explaining the work outs. I would definitely come again. read more

I can't get enough of their heated yoga sculpt class. It's a great combination of weights, stretch, and mind body connection and mindfulness. The C2 class is hot yoga and gives you a nice total body stretch. The location has two studios and a complete bathroom with showers and lockers. The instructors are so nice, welcoming and encouraging. They do sell merchandise in the front and there's a parking lot which is nice. read more

I took a C2 class here. When we arrived the staff member was vacuuming the front area. As I walked into the studio to take my class, I noticed the mirrors in the room were extremely dirty, you could see hand prints all over and around the mirrored room. The floors also weren't as clean as the other studios I've been to. The staff member should have spent more time prepping the yoga room than vacuuming the front lol Overall the class was okay. They do way too much chaturanga in this class for my liking and I never come out feeling calm or meditative for some reason. read more

The candlelight hot power fusion classes are one of a kind and the sculpt and strength classes have me leaving so sore! I attended c2, hot power fusion, and sculpt classes, in each studio. All classes had great routines (hpf is the same all the time) and decent amount of heat. I appreciated having locks to borrow and several showers for the women's facilities. The parking lot was decent. I appreciate the unlimited classes for any CPY in the country with my membership with many class offerings in a day, 365 days of the year. read more

Much needed review update for CorePower Yoga! After the pandemic closed down my last yoga studio (RIP Trufusion) I needed to find a new location to practice regularly. Surprisingly, CorePower is now one of the most affordable places to have an unlimited yoga membership in the area?! And you have access to their many South Bay studios, which is a major plus. Winchester has great teachers! I mostly stick to HPF and C2, and Theresa, Corrine, and Annie's classes are awesome. Classes can get super crowded, so I would recommend arriving 10 min early and trying to attend classes at non-peak hours. Disclaimer: This isn't a super luxe studio (the Campbell location is a bit newer, cleaner) , but it gets the job done!! Get ready to sweat, bring water + a towel. This has to be the best Corepower in the nation. I have been to at least a dozen other locations in the Bay, Denver, Seattle, Austin, and NYC, and none come even close. I have been to so many boutique yoga studios and find the instructors and clients are snobby and intimidating. This is the first yoga studio I've ever been to where the instructors learn your name, call you out positively for pushing yourself in class, and where other students go out of their way to introduce themselves. It feels like a real community. I have to shout out some of my favorite instructors - Emily K, Emily Y, Jane, Stefan, Michelle, oh and Tony N runs an absolute CLINIC of a C2 class where you learn so much no matter how strong you already are. I have done over 200 classes in less than a year and I still look forward to coming every day. Thank you for changing up my fitness routine in the best possible way! read more

Out of all the studios in the south bay, this is by far the worst one. Instructors are rude, studios are dirty, something is always broken in the locker room. The locker rooms are humid because they don't turn on the air and it smells awful in there like something died in the pipes. Some plumbing issue because one shower /sink is always "out of service". I've taken a handful of classes here because it is the closest location to me but I will not be returning. I took a class this past Saturday with instructor Stephanie - she stepped on my mat multiple times as she was walking around class and instead of counting down properly (5,4,3,2,1) she was "falsely" counting us down (5, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1). read more

I took the Yoga Sculpt class tonight with Thanh and he is the best instructor I've ever had! He hypes everyone up and even sang "Tell me Why". Also said a lot of motivational quotes. It's hot yoga where they shoulda address in the first place so I could definitely avoid trying out... I attended C2. Breath for a moment then it went straight to workout I was like... what? If I wanna workout I go to the gym. Right now I wanna do yoga lol. I'm a beginner yogini and yoga has been known to me as mind-body balance exercise. This is far off. However I can see how some people like to workout and stretch in a heated room. We're all trying our best in our busy lives. The folks here (from the employees to the yogis) were all very nice. However....and this is a BIG however...they rammed the studio so full, all of our mats were edge-to-edge. I have NEVER seen a studio let a class get so packed in my life (and I've been practicing for years and been to dozens of studios in multiple states). This was a Sculpt class on top of everything! It was honestly uncomfortable, and I'm a "more the merrier" kind of person. Let me tell you.....hot sweaty people crammed so tightly together they're dripping sweat on your yoga mat.....not merry. Nope. Merry not found. Not only was it not merry, I was trying not to gag the entire time and also found it very hard to actually do any yoga moves; we all looked like T-Rexes due to not wanting to whack a neighbor (much less knock them out with a weight). I have been coming here for two weeks for yoga classes. It is quite a privilege to live less than a half-block away from this studio. So far I have attended Candlelit Hot Power Fusion and C2 classes. Both classes are heated, but the Hot Power Fusion class has a higher room temperature(100-103F). I felt more relaxed and flexible to stretch in a heated room. All instructors are very friendly, and they made sure to greet you after the class on your way out. Definitely bring a water bottle and drink plenty of water during the whole practice session. Bring your own hand towel to wipe out sweat during class and a bath towel if you do not wish to rent them from the studio. A yoga mat is also available for rent if you don't have one. If you doubt whether heated yoga is worth it or not, I highly suggest you give this one a shot! read more

35 people in one small studio, my neighbors were constantly splashing their sweat onto my face and MOUTH when I did open mouth breath. Disgusting but Not their fault since we just honestly cannot workout without touching each other, how is that acceptable when you are paying almost $200 for monthly membership? Also, there was a couple doing some inappropriate stuffs when the instructor turned off the light at the end, girl touching guys nipple with toes.. Ew. Get a room. This location sucks. read more

Great Yoga Studio. I've been coming here regularly for several months now. The studio is always clean. The locker room and showers are top notch. Urban, Well taken care of. Spray bottles to wipe down your mats. Mats to rent for $1.00 if you need to. Small boutique to purchase clothes, towels, mats, weights, water bottles. It can get quite busy at peak times, but the instructors will always make sure somebody makes space for you. There are dozens of instructors at this location so you can find the ones that gel with your particular style. I find that most all of them are very warm, encouraging, and open to instructing all levels of experience. Whether you're experienced, new, or have issues that require to modify your positions you'll be comfortable. read more

They have so many classes a day, and you can use your pass at different locations which is super cool she. The closest studio doesn't offer that one class u want at the specific time u need. They have really great showers so that's convenient if your taking a class right before class/work/a night out. Easy to schedule and cancel classes and 2 hours cancellation before class is super thoughtful. I wish they would offer non heated classes too, but I understand that's not their thing so I gave 5 stars anyway. They are exactly what they say they are. read more

Nope. I came here because they have a one week trial, so I thought why not. I took the yoga sculpt class on Monday, and I kid you not, they crammed 50 people into one studio. The instructor said that the place fits 70 people and that we should make room for others, but at that point, our mats were 2 inches away from each other. And yes, it's 95 degrees in there. My friend who joined me that day even asked, "Should I just leave?" I decided to come back on Friday for Yin Yoga to give it another try, but it was pretty crowded in there again. To make matters worse, the instructor told me that my free trial was already up because it was marked in the system that I had started the week prior (but that's incorrect, I hadn't even gone there for a full week). Good heated Vinyasa/power yoga classes & studios are lacking in this area, and after moving here just under 2 years ago and trying 6-8 different studios from San Jose to Los Gatos to Palo Alto, I'm excited for CorePower-style yoga to finally arrive! Staff is very friendly and made me feel welcomed and already part of the CorePower family. The studio manager, Priscilla, taught a great class with beautiful music by a live band. It was a very packed room, of course, since it was their very 1st class, but it was still very enjoyable! My favourite yoga place in California thus far! (I've only tried LA and the Bay, mind you.) Chic, modern setup right when you walk in. There are yoga outfits and garb for sale on the left, check-in straight ahead, and the yoga rooms to the right. There are little cubbies for you to place your shoes, but full on lockable lockers further in. My bestie took me to sculpt hot yoga today and WOW! I can easily say it was the best hot yoga/strength training/cardio session in a LONG time. Totally full class at 5pm on a Tuesday. Caitlyn was an awesome instructor. Loved her. Brand new yoga studio that just opened on Friday 7/25. They're offering a cool promotion, 1 week free for new students. They're also opening another studio near Almaden Expwy and Blossom Hill on August 1. It seems to be a pretty big chain, with locations in LA, San Diego, and Santa Barbara. The studio is located off Winchester Blvd in the old Century 24 shopping center, so it's basically next door to Toys R Us. Convenient location if you're coming from 280 or 880. They did a great job transforming an old froyo shop into a beautiful studio with a large retail section in the front, spacious men's and women's bathrooms (with lockers, bathroom stalls, benches, and showers), and 2 yoga rooms. A few things I noticed were a strong smell (maybe paint?) because they just opened, and no cubbies to store your purse. The manager recommended either bringing a lock for the lockers or putting my purse in my trunk, but I think that's a little inconvenient. Finally, the room that I had my class in (the room on the left), seemed cramped. In my opinion, they could have made the yoga room bigger and made the retail space slightly smaller. The schedule is pretty impressive with classes offered from 6am to 9:30pm! Most of the classes seem to be either Level 1 or Level 2, and they have both heated and non-heated options. read more

I usually go to YogaSource in Los Gatos but decided to give this place a shot. I love it! I love hot yoga / pilates and the Yoga Sculpt class is a perfect combo. I'd say it's different than the other hot classes I've been too since it is more yoga than HIIT. I would normally prefer more of a HIIT/pilates but I actually love the yoga flow to the class! I have told myself since last year that I need to start doing yoga. So when I came to visit my friend and she told me she was teaching here, it was a no brainer. The studio is really nice. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. They have a retail area in the lobby where you can buy mats, pants, shirts and what not. The changing room is really neat with lots of places to store your bag, couple of clean showers and bathrooms. They have a special for new students: one week free! And your first class comes with free towel and free mat rental. I took a yoga/sculpt class and a C2. The yoga and sculpt was pretty intense for me. The room is heated and having no experience with heat or yoga, I was afraid I would just pass out in there. Luckily the class was awesome, you can make it as hard or as easy as you wish and I did not feel like ppl were judging me for not knowing what I was doing :) oh I did not faint (yayy). The C2 class was way better for me. Heated room still but more slower paced with more stretching exercises. Really loved the experience. I took both classes with my dearest friend and awesome instructor Diane! She has a very soothing voice and is good at giving you pointers in order to improve. She is also receptive to your thoughts and comments about each class so feel free to chat with her after class! I highly recommend this place. read more

Their Yoga accessories like weights/ mats/ blocks/ belts are all in good condition to use. - There's a locker area inside the Changing room/ restroom. It's of great help. Speaking of Changing/ rest rooms, they are decent as well. The transformation you experience via Yoga is gradual. Tried CorePower through Class Pass, Sunday night C1 class was spacious and nice. Yoga mats and towels are available for rental/purchase, I got my mat rental for free as it was my first time at the studio. They also provide you with a point card type booklet to collect things as you continue coming to the studio -- super cool! The instructor was super sweet and helpful, offering adjustments as long as you did not opt-out of it :) I liked her vibe, it was very authentic. I sweat slightly which was nice and the class was relaxing. It offered the most burn to my abdominals the next day (Yay!!) Definitely prepare for this by understanding it's not 100% yoga but a new type of yoga. read more

It's true that Core Power Yoga (CPY) does have one of the best methods of teaching yoga unlike Bikram yoga (yikes). However, it's pretty standard that all employees change within 18-24 months including the managers. Before covid, the Winchester studio was clean and very busy with very friendly people. This is not true any longer. The studio has turned into a dump. The water fountain and even inside the rooms there are ants at all times. Complaints or constructive suggestions are not even a thought. I have been practicing here since the studio started. I also attend over 10 CPY studios Almaden, CA, Santa Clara, CA, Palo Alto, CA, Downtown San Jose, SJ, Plano, TX, Denver, CO, Brooklyn, NY, and other studios which are completely opposite. Those studios are clean and have NO ANTS, lol. If I stay long enough all the current stuff will be gone within the next 8-12 months. The Winchester studio for some reason keeps breaking with the heating system and it takes over 2 quarters to change. The audio in one of the studios broke in December and is still not fixed. Hope everyone can see a pattern of why I am ranting about this specific studio. Anyway, good luck choosing a good CPY studio that fits your life style. read more

This is the best one in the Bay Area or San Jose, every single thing about this place is best! Great teachers, especially Victoria and Megan! The waiting area is super chill and the yoga studios are the only ones around that actually achieve the proper level of HOT! I like all the studios but this one rocks!
