We took a Hot Yoga class led by Anastasia, which was phenomenal. I had no expectations as we love a good yoga class - but this was different in the best way! Florida Power Yoga is perfect for me because they offer classes that combine the benefits of yoga with cardio and Pilates-style moves. It's a nice change of pace from working out at home. Classes are held in a heated room to get your blood flowing and make you really sweat to cleanse your body of toxins. Florida Power Yoga is a great workout in an uplifting environment. The classes were easy to sign up for and upon arriving I was welcomed and shown around even with me just being in town for the weekend. I did sign up for both classes and both instructors greeted and welcomed me in their classes. The classes were what I needed, challenging but modifiable as needed. I never felt out of place or uncomfortable in the studio surrounded by regulars. I would definitely head back here if I am in town are nearby again. Fortune for me found itself at a little, cozy studio tucked away in a small shopping plaza off 41 behind the McDonald's. Leah is not only well versed in the primary series, she's no non sense, badass yogini who counts way too slow, but hey, it's to burn away my samskara, right? I have a love hate relationship with her, especially when she forgets to turn on the AC. If you are masochistic like me, go take Leah's Ashtanga class. It's small and intimate, so there's no hiding in the "back of the class". Seriously, it's a difficult class but things that come via difficulty are the most gratifying. And as they say here, no mud, no lotus! Oh I failed to mention logistics, register for class online for $12 a class (make sure you do it at least 30 minutes prior to the start time) or pay $15 at the door. Punch cards are available from the wonderful and sweet owner, Jessica (who I've heard gives a great massage). The merch is also pretty darn cute. Get yourself a "rocker tank" to display those Boulder shoulders you'll be getting from getting your headstand and Vinyasa on!

The ballet class was a great work out, I wore my baby in my Ergo Sling and learned the classic ballet foot work. The yoga class was relaxing, I let my baby play with the toys they have in the back of the room while I enjoyed the class. Om Sweet Om has family friendly classes every day, I love that I have something fun for both my baby and I to do especially during this hot summer. Everyone is so friendly, I love the community they are creating. They remind you of the schedule on Facebook which is nice too.
