This place is AWFUL, DO NOT EVER GO HERE. They physically broke up mosh pits at a heavy dubstep show and I saw them literally fight multiple people and grab them by their shoulders, arms, and hair and drag them out. Seeing grown men that eager to put their hands on women was disgusting. It was so dangerous, they put so many people in harm's way for no reason and it was horrible. Security going in was ridiculous too, I got felt up and they thoroughly searched my entire bag, but no metal detectors for some reason. The box office line and the ticket line were the same two lines which made getting in take forever. The drinks were expensive and watered down and they allow 18+ some nights so there's a bunch of fresh 18 year olds acting dumb too. All I ever experience about this place is bad. Issues at the door. Issues with security. Issues with the manager. Not a vibe.

Drinks were kinda low tier to mid tier. Not terrible but not great. Got a Red Bull Vodka, too much Red Bull, not enough Vodka, and a bit overpriced in my opinion (~$14 for a 12oz drink when I can get it cheaper elsewhere) Several different floor (3) for different styles of music. The bouncers, staff, and bartenders were all awesome and super accommodating and understanding, as long as you're considerate to the fact that they do work at a club in downtown Denver. Personally probably won't go back, but was worth the experience. Note to anyone wanting to go: Don't go there if you're looking for a date. My buddy tried that, was not successful. Bring your own date if you want to spend some time dancing and partying all night long. If you're looking for parking, just down the block there's a garage. The garage attendant is named Benedicto. We went here for a DJ set and the security guards had no clue what they were doing, no clue where the line started, and were just overall not helpful. We got in and the DJ opener was there from 9-12:20 then the main DJ came out so that truly did suck. We didn't get drinks because they're always crazy expensive but they were open to free water. I'd say get here at 11-12 and you'll have a decent crowd but anytime before it's going to be a tad sparse. The bathrooms were clean at the beginning of the night so that's also a plus. read more

That would mean I am 1 years old. I'm in my 30s. Before I could even answer, he put huge black Xs on both my hands. When I walked up to the host, I asked why I had the Xs and showed her my ID and she said "oh, he f**ked up". We proceeded to pay to go in since we thought it was Temple. 05/25/2024 DO NOT GO HERE. For starters, my friend was felt up and sexually assaulted by a female security guard at the entrance. The guard didn't touch my breasts at all. When my friend went after me, the guard felt/groped her breasts extensively, then reached COMPLETELY up her shirt from the bottom. I wish I had taken a video because it was ASSAULT and degrading. My friend had a small pepper spray on her and the guard made her throw it away. What on earth would we do with pepper spray ANYWHERE other than for self defense? We were left defenseless as two women at night in Denver. We paid $60 entrance for two people. Two basic drinks that consisted of mainly ice were $20. The only reason this place has business is because it is 18+. It was crowded and hard to breathe and move in most areas. Music stopped 22 minutes before close, and the bright lights were turned on around 30 mins until close. The whole experience at Vinyl is terrible. Also there's a bunch of creepy middle aged men that stand to the side and just watch the young girls. The bartenders on the third tier were nice, and that's the only good thing I can say. Also- I've been to Vinyl before when I was 18, and my female friend and I were kicked out because we went into the same bathroom stall together. THAT IS A GIRL THING. The rooftop is the best part(who doesn't love a rooftop). There are plenty of couches to sit on up here (love that), a few bars throughout, an indoor and outdoor area, and views (obviously). You can also order hookah (if you're into that). Drink prices aren't bad and the bartenders are very quick so you don't wait long for drinks. The ice water slaps (highly recommend). All of the bartenders I've interacted with were very nice too (important). Last weekend, we saw a day time house show on the rooftop (incredible). The crowd was amazing but I think that also depends on the night and who is playing (shoutout to Walker & Royce). Everyone was respectful and dancing with each other, saying excuse me, and just overall being super friendly. Thank you to the sweet girl who laughed and then asked me if i was okay when she saw me using my inhaler (the wildfire smoke kicked my butt). This review completely falls on the female bartender with the black lipstick who worked Saturday, March 29th. She started by getting our attention to ask what we wanted to drink with a major attitude. Everyone has off days, I get that. We previously ordered a drink from the bartender next to her and he made us a grapefruit vodka soda. When we tried to order it again, she acted like this drink didn't exist and blatantly gave us an attitude as if we were stupid. We then asked the original bartender what he made and if he could add a splash of juice to it. She then aggressively added "we could have an attitude all we wanted but nothing was going to change." It was so unnecessary. We were not rude in the slightest. We happily paid $15 per drink, tipped on top of it and still dealt with her coming to work, having a bad day, and treating her customers like they were bothering her on top of it. Came here last night for one of our friends who was DJing. First time being there and was excited to check it out. Upon entering, I was patted down as if I was entering Guantanamo Bay. Old fella working the door asks me to empty my pockets and confiscates my weed pen (we live in Colorado where marijuana is legal and I was not a planning to smoke in the venue). He proceeds to put the pen inside some kind of kinky plastic box and my understanding was that I could retrieve it upon my exit. We left about an hour later and I tried to reclaim the pen but alas, they empty the kink box every 30 minutes and throw the contents in the trash?? Not sure what kind of establishment does this, I've never experienced anything like it and I have been to 1 million bars. You would think I was trying to walk in with a 6ft battle axe the way they handled the situation. I can guarantee that I will not be back given this unwarranted and unacceptable behavior. This was the worst club I've ever been to in my entire life. Absolutely ridiculous service, rude security, and was the biggest waste of money I've EVER spent. Security dragged me and my friends out for no reason, with no proof of anything we did wrong, only telling us it was because the bartender wanted us out. Then he proceeded to threaten to shove us out the door of the club because we asked to wait inside for the Uber since it was snowing. Then when we went outside in the cold with no jacket, security stepped out after and mocked us by saying he was warm in his puffer. It was the rudest any security guard has ever been to me in my entire life and I have been to many clubs before and never had something like this happen. For anyone going for the first time always check out the artists from the flyers and based in their sub-genre style you can know what is going to be like. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Horrible experience with this club. After paying the cover charge we found out there's only about 5 people total in the club. We decided to sit down and have a few drinks when my friend offered a toast to to all of us being reunited again. My friend accidentally spilled part of his drink and despite apologizing we were instead ridiculed by the manager for being, "clumsy." We apologized and cleaned it up when he Informed us not to do it again. After the manager being very rude to us he informed us that he doesn't need our money and we can leave if we plan on spilling another drink. I have never seen a nightclub run this way in my life. Total anarchy, disinterested management, incompetant staff, buy a shot for the retail price of a 750 bottle... yet the place is always packed with lines stretching down the street in either direction. This venue is manifestly unsafe and I am surprised they haven't been shut down due to the regular shootings outside after closing... just had another one this last weekend... think that was the third one this year. Keep in mind we were all 26+ and we all had a partner with us. the place was body to body with pretty much everyone knocking into each other. The bouncers proceeded to immediately kick him out without any explanation or evidence, solely based off some dumb 18 year olds words. Not to mention the whole bounce staff is made up of undocumented Latinos who can BARELY speak English. How are they going to immediately side with a deceptive child who probably has an onlyfans? There was nothing like that happening although that is what the website description was- $20 cover for an empty club, and the basement room was an additional $20. Feel ripped off bc we came for something as marketed and there was not anything at all that matches the web description. Well drinks are strong but overpriced for not great vodka. We kept asking staff members if they knew what we are talking about and they all seemed clueless or new , within a few weeks. I came here expecting it to be a concert-like venue when I bought tickets to see Digitalism and realized as I walked in that I was underdressed and that Club Vinyl is indeed, as its name suggests, a club. But I mean a night club...the kind where women wear elastic dresses that just barely cover your butt (I now know that clubbing-wear in Colorado in the winter does not differ from clubbing attire in warmer states like California). The bouncer was friendly as he showed off his suit and tie. The venue was dim and offered multiple floors with different music. Each floor has its own bar (convenience factor = +1). The top floor is connected to the outdoor patio area which I imagine would be nice to chill at during the warmer months. The top floor featured older hip-hop. The music was not old enough to be considered old-skool or classic or oldies and was not recent enough to be considered hip. So I couldn't tell if the DJ was trying hype people up with throw-backs or if his music collection was really just that outdated. The first floor was where Digitalism performed and is the largest floor. The sound quality was decent and the bar was large. I didn't visit the 2nd floor aside from when I went there to go to the rest room. I'm uncertain what music that floor features other than Beyonce's Surfboard (the song that was playing as I was boarding the toilet). Yeah this place is A-OK! read more

This club is definitely is not playing Top 40, much less Top 100. Not one of the floors played consistently good music for more than 5 minutes. Top floor music is ok at best, and the lights are too bright for it to serve its intended purpose (dancing in the dark with colored club lights, duh!). Second floor is weak and main floor only plays songs that maybe 25% of people know. When it is a well known song, you can bet money that the DJ will either ruin the beat of the song or play the worst remix of it possible. Drinks are the only upside and they're ridiculously overpriced, even for a club, and that's after paying a $20 cover for a place that's only 18+. I've never seen less alcohol put into a mixed drink either. Also watched a fight between 4 guys on the main floor. Don't waste your money here. Go somewhere down the street. read more

Wasn't a fan of this club. Due to the covid everything was sectioned off. Ok cool whatever. Drinks were extremely over priced which I don't like. They also hold on to your cards which is an even bigger red flag for me. Which caused me to forget my card when I left and I had to run back and go get it which was an even bigger hassle. Mind you when I exited it lead to an alley a dark alley and I'm a woman so it was even more scarier for me because that was the only exit. If I would have been drunk anyone could have snatched me up or taken advantage of me. That really made me so uncomfortable.
