They booked a racist queen tonight, named Sin St. Clair, to perform who told another queen to, "go back to her country" and "heil hitler". When I spoke to an employee about the incident at 12:45 PM Friday June 5th, he told me,"it doesn't really matter, itll be fine" and refused to condemn her behavior and is still paying her to perform tonight. I complained numerous times to both Sylvia, who is a co-owner and to the bartender, Vanessa, his sister. I literally feel like I'm in an indoor concert! It was too cold to spend more than a few minutes outside to give my ears some brief relief. I will never ever go to Vybe bar again. I was harassed multiple times about smelling like smoke. I then regularly applied scented oils, then they complained about that! The staff agreed. I thought that this was a public place. I never complained about anyone, cross dressers with strong perfumes, or the breaths of everyday-alcoholics with alcohol air exuding from their traps. They have ticket, number and card drawings, sometimes for buying a drink, sometimes for pay. Food - Airfyer Food Service - OK , but not consistent; bartenders change often, like underwear. This place is an unmitigated disaster. My first time experiencing this place and they had no running water or functioning bathrooms. They actually had a portable toilet out back near their alley entrance for patrons to use. Not only that, they were charging "Vegas" prices for their drinks. Two vodka sodas were $35 one night. Why? I have absolutely no clue. They were served in Dixie cups and were watered down. If you're going to charge me that much for drinks then you better give me a good buzz. That didn't happen. Oh, and the staff is insufferably rude. They all act like they're the next big thing on BravoTV. LOL Good luck, girls. Stumbled upon this place on a Sunday night in Denver. Gay bar and a ton of fun!!! They have darts and a pool table. There is a back outside area to sit / smoke in as well. Came during a Broncos game so the place was full of people and excitement. The owner also provided free food for the game (pizza/ veggies). There were also several raffles during the game (we got a ticket upon entry of the establishment). DJ played all night in between the game and after the game, another DJ played for the rest of the night. He was super excellent with taking song requests. There's a reason we don't go here cause it's always a bait and switch. But on a random night night we thought we give it another try. The bouncer checking ID's was drunk which was weird and there were like 4 staff members sitting around once we walked in keeping in mind this was Saturday night. Was informed that 2 wells/ drafts were $7 but once got our bill they charged us double the price. We didn't feel like arguing cause we were the only ones here. Our drinks were flat and so we left. Stumbled upon this place on our way to Bar Standard/Milk.... but this place's music was really good with some Latin hits and mixed w current pop and hip pop. When we went on a Saturday night the DJ also threw in some 90s hits too, it was really popping. Not a lot of people here yet as it was pretty empty but our group was about 14 people and really livened up the place. They were doing raffling to win a bottle service that night and due to the ratio of the people there we had a really good chance. And we did!!!!! So I had kind of mixed feelings about this place. The drinks were some of the cheapest we have encountered in Denver, and the bartenders were friendly and service was quick. It was the ambience that was the problem here. We stopped in for a drink on a Monday night, while visiting the area. It was just about the only place open in the area. Seemed ok at first, but the patrons weren't very friendly. One of them yanked a chair away and looked pretty unfriendly when we came to sit up at the bar. Another tried to take my phone, apparently drunkenly mistaking it for his and started accusing us of taking "his stuff" because he claimed he had been sitting there, although we had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. I noticed that he found his phone in his back pocket shortly after trying to steal mine, and it was a completely different brand and size of phone than mine. An enjoyable dive bar, with very great drink prices and events. The music is also very enjoyable, and has a feeling very much like Tracks. Tuesday's Loteria, a Spanish version of bingo, I really enjoyed and it was a unique experience in comparison to other bingo nights at other bars. The beer bust is also cheaper than anywhere else, which I also recommend. Overall, a cheap and pleasant experience; I especially recommend the bloody mary. read more

Should there be a special event going on they will sometimes pass out free shots. They aren't the best libations in the world but free is free. And, it's a dive bar - you get what you pay for. In this case, you're paying for good times, crazy peeps, loud music, dark corners, open patios and queers. Love it, I do. There has been a steady stream of quality bartenders in recent years. Almost every employee is nice, quick-footed, funny, good looking, attentive, crazy, sexy, cool. While this place can sure get packed at times there is generally zero to little wait time to get a drink. Spill something? They'll get it cleaned up with the quickness - and a smile to boot! Part of the reason I come here is because the bartenders are really awesome. It's a neighborhood bar - be friendly. Everyone is welcome at Broadway's. Seriously, all walks of life can walk in and then crawl out after having the best time EVER! People like to knock down dive bars but these establishments always have an open door and offer the chance to just be human, have a drink and live life. There's a quality to this bar that feels like a safe place to be yourself even if you have had a few too many. What can I say? It's my favorite spot in town! Went for the first Bronco's game of the season and they had great drink specials, lots of TVs, and a bunch of fans. The service was amazing, they brought us chairs! Went again last weekend, the place was all done up for Mardi Gras! Beads at the door, masks and decor everywhere. Even a silent auction for fab masks with proceeds going to charity. There are fun lights, a fog machine, a DJ, and always great drink specials!!! They also have fun new booze, I tried something called OR-G - amazing! Anywhere else a fancy new liqueur drink would break the bank, not here! Watch them make the drinks, they are sta-rong! The patio is always rockin and the service is always great! There is a lil DJ booth and it was so fun rockin old school jams and checkin out the new stuff. They also got new super sturdy bar stools which class up the place even more. Out of 'gay bars', this one is the best to take anyone to! Plus, it is within walking distance to a bunch of other places if you feel the need to leave. This place is too much fun! We dropped in here for a fundraiser for the Rainbow House because "Brett Mavrick and The Stallions" were performing. The show was too much fun. They got the whole room involved in singing along and making donations to the charity. Broadway's drinks are cheap, they have good beers on tap (I heart Shock Top), and they had even put out additional seating for the event. My friends and I snagged a small bar table, grabbed some cocktails and had lots of laughs. We are SO coming back to Broadways (especially if Brett & The Stallions are there again). read more

If I could leave less then one star I would. I got kicked out after they sided with a person that punched me in the face prior to this bar, for absolutely no reason. I tried to give him a hug the last time I saw him when he punched me. As I thought we where friends, then I was assaulted. This bar has horrible service, and I would not recommend a place with such appalling service. I tried to make a Mends with the person who punched me. Then his Friend Jumped in, and had some opinion to say not knowing to situation of what had happened. She never witnessed the situation. While that was going on the owner thought it was ok to kick me out when me, and this person was trying to Work the situation out. she proceeded to kicked me out, after I was the one punched in the faced. Then she commence to say that I had the big mouth, when I was trying to work things out Civilly. This is a horrible bar, and I would never recommend such a bias place. It's about who has money and, status in this bar. As one of the owners was mentioning how this particular person practically lived at the bar. The funny thing is I have spent a lot of money here. If you want a quality place I definitely don't recommend here. You can find places that are definitely not as sleazy as this this bar. I recommend looking for something classy. Especially if you are less religiously inclined. Expect to have a bias in that inclination. As the owner can't leave that personal belief out of the business, even though it's a "gay bar". What can I say? It's a gay bar on Broadway called Broadway's. Inside it's small and kind of divey, but still has the requisite club music playing. These drinks are designed with one thing in mind: to get you completely wasteypants. While at this bar, I had a tiny man wearing nothing but a bowtie and underwear give me a jello shot in a novelty sized syringe and I drank some sort of deliciously sweet blue drink out of a bucket. That's right. A bucket. Like what you would use to make a sandcastle. Except after one of these the only thing you'll be making is bad decisions. Sharing it with another person is highly recommended and about as romantic as you can get while surrounded by male gogo dancers and lubed up cocktail servers. If you're up for a fun night of more innuendo than you can shake a greased up pole at, then definitely head over to Broadway's. read more

As a straight guy, I am not among Broadway's main clientele, so that should be taken into consideration. It's quite proudly a gay bar, complete with a shirtless bartender (at least when I was there). I've only been there once so far, with a Meetup group for film buffs, and I had a fun time. The patio area is quite nice, though the dance music was blasting a little too loudly for my tastes for Tuesday at 6 p.m. (Again, the music volume isn't designed with me in mind, so that's cool.) The drink prices are ridiculously low, so that's a huge plus. Although there was no patio server when I was there, the bartender made a point of coming out to the patio to clear away empty cups on a regular basis. As for the "comfort" level for a straight guy, I was totally comfortable, at least during that time frame (early evening on a weekday). Then again, I'm a total LGBT ally, and anyone who's is obviously in the wrong place. One guy did swing over to our table and talk me up a little bit, asking what my situation was, but it was completely respectful (and flattering). The place does have a bit of that dive feel, but in a good way; it's appropriate to the drink pricing and the neighborhood. The place seemed clean and well maintained. I can't speak for the Saturday night experience, which I'm sure is very different, but when I was there, I had a very good time at Broadway's. read more

I like this gay dive bar. My straight male friend dragged me here because he wanted to party, and party we did. After the drag show, there were men auctioning off custom-made underwear. Everyone started their bids, and all of a sudden, I hear my friend behind me throw up a bid. Straight off the model and into my friend's hand. He's a down home, country boy, and was so excited to have some custom made briefs. He was like a little girl until he dropped me off at home and went on his merry way. I like that I can get a strong whiskey diet here, and it's cheap. Keeping up with the other gay bars in town, and I love it. And I can enjoy my whiskey on the nice big patio on those warm summer nights. There are a mix of guys here, and there are usually always some very pretty drag queens here (like, prettier than me, but that's okay). I don't get over here as much as I would like, but I should. I came here with friends to take advantage of happy hour. Everything was fine and every bar has that drunk with a chip on his shoulder so no worries there, I can deal with that. I met some cool people and decided to return 2 days later. One bartender poured wine correctly. The other screwed it up. Looking past that I was having a great time with someone I met swapping history lessons. Eventually out back, our conversation was interrupted by someone who seemed ok at first. Then he had a complete meltdown, throwing a hissy fit, that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I had to warn him multiple times to stop bothering me. He claimed to be an employee. He told me to get out of America, somthing you dont say to veteran. I reported him to the other bartenders and they got him to chill out, although bribing your way out of embarrassment on what I can only assume is the bar tab or discounted rate, is a cowardly move. I tried to contact the owner. They dont pick up the phone. The don't check voicemail. They won't tell you who the manager or owner is. Thier website is out of date. There is no email. The employees run the business here, and it shows. This is just a hard to find hole in the wall of very little importance and class. Veterans avoid. Wine drinkers avoid. Also avoid due to PC babies. (It is one thing to be PC, it is another to go mental and make a scene). read more

Came here on a Friday night and a Sunday afternoon ( for the Bronco's game) Friday was after a long hard day at work and needing a few good drinks. I was drinking rum and cokes, made deliciously strong and my friend a few nice cold beers. Friendly and Hot (male) bartenders as well! Pretty sizable bar, with a juke box, some of those touch screen bar top games ( important to note because i LOVE LOVE LOVE those games, and this is all about me :) ) .. There is a patio out back, decent size as well. There is also an ATM machine inside. Ladies: Big Plus... the bathroom stalls have doors!!!! ( us Charlie's visitors know the importance of that!!) .. no 'human' doors from your friends, or wondering if when you get to the stall if someone will be sitting there getting rid of their evening dinner!! yeah! *** Sunday Football*** They have a lot of Tv's .. Nice, Clear, beautiful TV's, and this sporty lesbian appreciates every last one of them :) They also put some chips and salsa snacks out during the game... nothing elaborate, but perfect to football watching. This time i was drinking Bud Light Drafts... out of the coldest frosted glasses ever!! I love me an Ice Cold Beer!!!! Oh la la la ..... Over all, a fun place to hang out. So my partner and I are visiting from California and are visiting Denver for the first time. Broadway was the first bar we decide on to visit. WOW! What great customer service. Our bartender was Joey M. We asked for information on what to do around the area. *Friday BTW* He was friendly and engaging and had no problem honestly promoting other bars in the area. This guy is running around and taking care of everybody's needs. He came across as nothing less than sincere. First impression was fantastic! Meet this guy and support their business. Everyone in Denver is nice and embracing. Completely surprised! We have been here three hours and already want to plan another trip.
