He was much happier sleeping in a home (vs an outdoor kennel) and she even provided the dogs an outside kiddie pool to enjoy. When I picked him up, she seemed genuinely sad to see him go. Normally, he jumps up on me when I've returned to a boarding businesses to retrieve him as he is so happy to go home. This time, he was very calm and took his time hopping into my vehicle. I have a 5 year old German shepherd. She is about 95 pounds, very loving towards my wife and I,…read morebut is very, very uncontrolled. We took her to another trainer in town. After six weeks of training there, Daisy, the GSD still didn't obey us. Daisy is extremely aggressive towards other dogs, barks at anyone that comes near me, and just makes walking her a nightmare. Daisy learned to break through her invisible fence and thus, left our yard a few times and caused a couple of complaints from our neighbors. She also attacked and killed a baby deer in our neighbors yard. We had to find a way to control this dog. After an adoption fell through, we were stuck with this GSD. Out of desperation, I called Kranky K9. I was very skeptical. After our first go around with training was complete failure, I didn't think anybody could turn this dog around. I was afraid that since she can break her invisible fence, she may attack a neighbors dog and I would have to put her down. Fast forward a few months. I can't believe it! Bo Harrison has changed our dog. Daisy is so well behaved. Also, our fears that Kranky K9 would "break her spirit" were completely unfounded. Daisy loves her new life. I walk her everyday off leash. We have come across rabbits, dear, other dogs, and always, without hesitation, Daisy will recall right to my side. People always compliment us on how well behaved our GSD is. Last week, I came across another couple walking an out-of-control dog. The man had to drag the dog away and hold him down. Daisy....nothing. She didn't care. She was more interested in us than the other dog. When I say is more happy, well, that means she can run a little in front of me during walks and sniff things and basically be a dog. That is so much more fun for her than being on a short leash prior to this training. If I need her to come to me, I simply call her and she returns. If I need to step things up a bit, I just "buzz" her. Daisy wears a collar that vibrates when I "buzz" her. No pain, but she responds! As a final test, I had Daisy not chase a garbage truck. She left the FEDEX guy alone. She even watched the mail truck stop in front of our house w/o losing her mind. Thanks you, thank you, thank you Kranky K9. Now, walking Daisy is fun and relaxing, no more stress.

If I absolutely had to say one negative thing is that the wait time was a little long But that said it is a hospital and they take emergency patients so I can say if I have an emergency I would want them to take my baby right away. Despite the urgency of the situation, this clinic repeatedly delayed filling critical, life-sustaining prescriptions, leaving us waiting for days just to get a response to our refill requests. When you are watching a sick animal suffer, every hour counts, yet our pleas for updates went ignored. ​ When I requested immediate answers and attempted to hold them accountable for these dangerous administrative failures, the staff chose to deflect blame rather than fix their mistake. They accused me of being "verbally abusive" simply because I was being firm, urgent, and demanding transparency regarding my dying dog's medication. ​Advocating fiercely for a terminally ill pet who cannot speak for themselves is not abuse--it is a response to severe negligence. Medical delays and massive counting errors (when they finally filled one of the medications, they shorted us an entire 25 days' worth of pills) are entirely unacceptable when dealing with end-of-life care. I cannot trust a clinic that handles critical prescriptions so carelessly and treats grieving, desperate pet owners with such defensiveness.

His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

I called Fairview Heights Animal Clinic and Laura was so helpful getting me scheduled as soon as she could. When we arrived with our dog she took us right in as she knew our dog was in pain. Megan the Vet tech and Laura explained the process, costs, etc. and they really cared about our dogs comfort and ours as well during his last moments. The Vet Dr was extremely caring as well. "I never seen a better clinic or caring people as Laura, Megan and the Dr were to us and our dog". Very reasonable priced as another Vet tried to take advantage of our situation when we called.
