It has an up to date imaginatively artistic pleasing decor. Unlike most chicken serving places, Cluck Face uses antibiotic free halal chicken. To try it I merely started off with some tenders. The tenders were of good portions, orangish in color and deep in a rather hot taste. Unlike Buffalo style which is Frank's or Durkee's (they are the same) with vinegar base and butter, Cluck is deep fried and hot oil brushed with herbs, distinctively hot pepper like cayenne. Hence, whereas Buffalo style is hot in your mouth, Cluck is not only hot to the lips and mouth but down into your throat as well. It's really a matter of personal preference. I came here around 11 PM and was the only customer. It took a little while for the employee to notice us and take our order. I ordered the Nashville and Korean sliders. Each slider came with one large chicken tender. The chicken had a very thick batter, but it definitely tasted fresh and juicy. The Nashville slider was pretty bland and needed a lot more sauce to bring out the flavor. The Korean slider was sweet and you could definitely taste the Korean inspired flavors. It was drizzled and likely could have had an extra squirt or two. Had 4 pickle slices on side that had a slight snap. Size was enough for two to share as meal, but family of four thought it was a nice sized snack. The place is quiet, almost two quiet for a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. The employees were nice and efficient and order made fresh in 5-6 minutes after ordering. Tried this place for the first time tonight - overall, very good. I've been looking for a place to rival Houston's Main Bird chain and this one comes close.
