I'm here at Savvy Sliders for the first time and this place has exceeded my expectations. Its casual, chill atmosphere makes dining in enjoyable. I received satisfactory service from Val who was nice enough to explain the menu options to me before taking my order. Savvy Sliders serves a variety of made-to-order mini sandwiches (à la carte or combo meal), hand breaded chicken fingers and nuggets, custard shakes, and fries. I tried their any 2 slider combo which consisted of the savvy classic and English cod slider with seasoned fries and a drink. The combo was neatly presented in a convenient disposable box. The savvy classic slider was truly delicious from the very first bite, from the juicy meat to the fresh toppings and the soft bun. Although the English cod had fewer toppings, it was tasty as well. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned with a house blend of salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Other seasoning options for the fries are Cajun and lemon pepper. The meal definitely the spot. After getting a refill on my drink, I placed a to-go order for a single fried chicken slider. I need to come back to try their shakes. read more

This is a really cool concept. It may not be glamorous, (it's in a random plaza) but idea is very original. The service has always been pleasant, pricing is fair and the food always tastes like it was prepared with care. Theres plenty of parking outside and it's always been clean on the inside. Last time I was here I got - 3 for $10 - boomin chicken - crispy chicken , boom sauce, pickles. The sauce isn't too spicy. The sandwich is very tasty! Chicken was freshly fried. Big signature - 2 fresh patties, grilled onions and American cheese. This is almost like a mini Big Mac but with real ingredients. Very tasty little burger. (1 dollar up charge ) Signature steakhouse - almost like a mini Philly cheesesteak. Delicious and good quality meat! I've also had their tenders which were very good as well. I love these guys! I love that you get to sample a bit of everything for such a low price and that they still freshly prepare everything. While that may sound like the bare minimum, I find most similar places are constantly cutting corners and giving their patrons lazily prepared slop. We like the 3 for $10 sliders. They are a good amount of food to not feel stuffed. You can pick different ones from beef to fish (cod or perch) or chicken. They were all good. We tried 6 different ones. They keep the place clean and even do touch ups between taking orders. I think there's always someone here that owns or partially owns the company. My husband has been here for lunch and said how good the sliders were and that the staff were so friendly. We were in the area (around 9:30 pm) so we stopped in for a little snack. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and told us after we received our meals that if there was anything we needed, to let her know. We decided to share the #2 Duo Switch Up which comes with 2 sliders, fries & a drink. We both got the Classic Angus Beef & regular fries. You can get them seasoned with Cajun or Lemon Pepper. I had been eyeballing the shakes which they have pictured on their window outside and ended up ordering the Reese's Pieces Shake. Omg was it good! I was told that the Strawberry Shortcake Shake is also good. I'll have to try that the next time. The sliders were juicy and delicious. They were the perfect size for a snack. Every single employee who we had contact with were so polite from the person who brought our food out to us; she apologized that they didn't have any food trays and only had take out boxes (we were dining in), to the employee who was trying to help a customer look for their cell phone that they thought they left behind; he apologized to us for interrupting our meal (which he didn't). This place was great. Was hearing a lot of hype about it so decided to give it a try. The hype was real. I wanted to try everything on the menu, so I ordered 2 of the triple pack. Came with 3 sliders of your choosing. No fries but got a large housefries anyway. The cod was great but that ribeye (no mushrooms no a1 replaced with mayo) was the best. Had a big signature (their version of a Big Mac). Boomin chicken famous chicken and a classic savy. The boomin chicken was better than the famous. The flavors and quality were great. Also had a strawberry banana milk shake which is not on the menu (secret item menu). Service was awesome. Manager was great amd welcoming and I think he stole some Chick-fil-A employees cause they were very nice. lol. Place in all was clean and they have a seats. You could taste the freshness in every bite. They weren't greasy or overwhelming just straight-up delicious. Now let's talk cheese curds WOW. These were hands down some of the best cheese curds I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. The onion rings were also a hit crunchy, golden, and not overly oily. We also tried the 5-piece chicken with Cajun fries again, cooked perfectly and seasoned with just the right amount of spice. And then there's the Savvy Sauce --one word: WOW. Tangy, creamy, flavorful it tied everything together beautifully. I also gave the cookies & cream custard a try. It was my first time having custard, so the slightly watery texture surprised me, but the flavor was really good. I'd definitely try other flavors next time. Another standout? Customer service. My first time here was nice we got to chat it up with the owner as we ordered our food. The owner was kind and funny. We got to learn some fun facts about the restaurant like the origin is Michigan. We ordered a #2 Duo switch up box and two 3 for 10s The 3F10 contained 1st set - boomin' chicken, the hangover, & the steakhouse rib eye 2nd set - the classic Angus beef, the steakhouse rib eye & the hangover. The duo contained an order of the famous fried chicken and a boomin' chicken with a side of cajun lemon pepper fries. The fries were so good, the steakhouse ribeye is my favorite so far. We also had an order of the Reese pieces milkshake. We ordered in-house, the food was made to order and came out hot and fast. The wall lineup showing the burger variety of the burgers was helpful. This place has been on my list of places to try for a while and I finally got to yesterday. We had the $3 for $10 but made it a combo which is a few extra dollars. Our total came out to a little under $40 for both or us. Not bad pricing, but could be better. That being said, we enjoyed our experience. The service was fantastic. My favorite slider was the steakhouse and I would hands down just get 3 of them next time. The Boomin chicken was pretty good too, but paled in comparison to the steakhouse's flavor and succulence. The burger is nice if you have a burger craving but it's nothing to phone home about. Everything was fresh though, which is appreciated. I like that you can have your choice of seasoning on the fries. That's a nice touch. Also, also, their lemonade is pretty good, especially when you mix the flavors. So, I give it a 4/5 due to great service, innovation, nice restaurant vibes and honestly the steakhouse. Plus with the sliders size and the fact that you can try a combination of flavors while not being too stuffed with the $3 for $10. That missing 1 star is wanting a more exciting burger slider experience (maybe more smashburger-like), add some barbecue sauce? I dunno, just felt like it was missing something. Savy Sliders is a chain that debuted in 2018 with two stores in Michigan. They are America's fastest growing slider franchise. They now have 35 locations and are opening up at a rate of around two a month. Other states they can be found in include Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Texas. The 2,300 sq. ft. store in Tamarac on the corner of Prospect and Commercial Blvd. is their first in Florida with more to come. They are open 24 hours. Savy Sliders specializes in gourmet sliders, hand battered and breaded chicken fingers, and hand-spun custard shakes. Slider options include angus beef, English cod, the famous chicken, crab cake, and a falafel vegetarian option. Some of the sliders have an upcharge. I had the day off from school today so I decided to check them out for a late lunch. I guess word has gotten out because they were packed. You order at the counter and they call you when it it ready. You can also order from their app and they will keep your order warm for you in their warmer that looks like a locker up front. The app also has a rewards program you can sign up for. I decided to eat in and scored the last open table. For lunch I ordered Box 1 which includes two sliders, fries, and a drink. For my sliders I chose the Classic angus Beef with American cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, mayo and ketchup and the Famous Fried Chicken with pickles, lettuce, and mayo. The food is cooked to order so it did take a little while to get them. If you are in a hurry I recommend ordering ahead. The sliders were good and I liked the chicken best. I helped myself to sweet tea which was also good. The fries unfortunately were horrible. I even eat mediocre fries and I threw these away. They reminded me of something the school cafeteria would serve. Next time I would try anything else. They also have sides of sweet potato fries, onion rings, and cheesy curds. We had a really wonderful lunch here. We'd read Dale Fs review and we'd found it intriguing -- we both like cod. Along with all the other top yelp reviews, we knew we had to try them. They weren't far away. They are easy to find on the southwest corner of Prospect and Commercial Boulevard. There was easy self-parking right outside the restaurant. We both decided to try the Duo combo. It included your choice of any two sliders plus fries and a drink. We both selected the cod -- which was a slight upgraded price. I chose their fried chicken as my second slider; he chose the classic angus beef. We both got the sliders as on the menu. Drinks were self serve from the machines on the side. The fried chicken slider (they also have one with grilled chicken) had pickles, lettuce, and mayo on it. The cod slider had American cheese, pickles, lettuce, and "boom" sauce. Surprisingly, although both sliders were very good, I liked the fried chicken one best. And my husband liked his beef slider better, as well (sorry Dale). You also get your choice of seasoning on your fries. I chose plain and he tried their lemon pepper. Just fyi, they have 7 different sauces from which to choose, and you can switch them should you wish. There are six regular sliders and six premium sliders (a touch more expensive). I think I'd like to try their mushroom swiss beef one. Or maybe a salad? My husband had a soda with his meal. I upgraded to one of their custard shakes. The vanilla one was topped with whipped cream and was delicious. My husband was thinking he'd try their banana or banana pudding specialty shake next time (banana pudding is his favorite dessert). As we were dining, we were visited by Art, one of the area managers. He stopped by to find out how we liked everything and for our feedback. It was a nice touch. We learned that this is their first Florida location with plans to add three others in the near future. The staff throughout the restaurant was exceptionally friendly and helpful. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. It was a short wait to get our order. When we'd first arrived, they were not that busy. As we were eating our lunch, almost every table was full and there was a long line to order. Many folks were doing takeout, too. Been waiting for Savvy Sliders to open for a really long time! I pass by it every time I visit my mom and the thought makes my mouth water! Finally my mom and I were able to stop by today. Clean, minimalistic inside. Super awesome food pick up machine that keeps your food warm as you wait. Easy to follow menu, and were very nicely greeted when we came in. I got Box 1, the Duo switch up with a simple savvy and boomin' chicken. I also got the lemon pepper fries! My mom got Box 1 with a boomin' chicken and steakhouse ribeye with normal fries. We also got a side of 3 chicken tenders with savvy sauce. Both boxes came with a drink, and the total only came out to $35. Not bad at all, very reasonably priced. We ate there and it took about 15 minutes for our food to be ready, totally expected given that its being made fresh. The seasoning on the lemon pepper fries were just "meh" wasn't evenly coated and a majority of the fries were hot, fresh and crispy, and some were soggy, not sure if they had mixed and old batch with a new batch. These were good eating them there, but I don't see them holding up if taking them to-go. The chicken tenders were also a bit soggy, lightly breaded which is great, but needs more of a crispy outside. The savvy sauce was fantastic though, both tangy and smokey. The chicken tenders also comes with a piece of bread which was toasted nicely. The boomin' chicken was probably our favorite slider. Crispy and saucy. The boomin' sauce also has a nice kick to it. I will say, however, my slider was super messy, sauce everywhere (pictured below.) I might expect that if it was a to-go order, but not if dining in. The simply savvy was just that, a simple little slider. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Might be personal preference as I would have preferred raw onion to caramelized. The steakhouse slider my mom wasn't a fan of. She said it was very one-note and the texture of the meat was strange. We wanted to get shakes, but their shake machine was down. A couple had come in specifically for the shakes while we were there, and they said it was also down two days earlier, were given a coupon for a free one for the inconvenience, and they came back thinking it would be fixed, but it wasn't. I dont know if this is a common occurrence at all, but if you're going just for the shakes, it might be beneficial to call beforehand. Overall it was a good experience. I cant say it'll be a regular spot, but I'd definitely come back to try their cheese curds and other sliders. They just opened, and I'm sure with a new opening comes growing pains. These are the very best non White Castle style sliders I have ever had. The owner was there and he is extremely gracious, personable & friendly. Today was my first visit and I am sure I did myself a disservice by not ordering sliders, but I wanted to write a review because of the great service and delicious chicken tenders! This is a fairly new location that's only been open a few months, but I was greeted warmly when I came in and the dining area seemed to be full, which is always great for a new local business. The gentlman at the register was super friendly and welcoming to all the customers, and he knew several regulars by name. Overall a super positive and helpful attitude. You order at the counter, take a number and sit, then your food is delivered to your table. If you're ordering to go, food is packed in a nice sturdy cardboard box. They also have an online ordering option where your food can conveniently wait for you to come pick it up in their hot box. I got the chicken tenders meal, with house seasoned fries (salt, pepper, garlic) and the chicken was juicy and the breading was crunchy. The highlight of the meal was the savvy sauce, made in house and it was a combination of tangy light bbq flavor and just a hint of sweet, very yummy and highly recommend you try it! Stopped in opening weekend and they were doing a good job. Staff at the register were working hard and really friendly. We ordered three different combo meals with a total of six different sliders. Our favorites were the ribeye and simple savvy. The milkshakes were very good also. We found the price for the quality of the food to be excellent. Our only complaint was that at one point there were three different groups of customers waiting for an open table and on-break employees were sitting at four separate tables. A few of them by themselves. It would probably be better if the employees were required to shared tables if customers were waiting so everyone could enjoy their food. read more

Thanks to our YELP community member (and buddy) DALE F, we saw that Savvy sliders had COD Sliders so we had to give them a try! The inside is bright and cheerful and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The overhead menu is easy to read and to navigate. Single sliders are listed as well as combinations. I chose a COD Slider (Thanks again Dale) and a Classic Angus Beef Slider to make up my DUO Combo which came with fries and a drink. I chose the Lemon Pepper seasoned fries which were served hot when delivered to the table. (You also have a choice of House, Cajun or just plain fries) The sliders here are Larger than your typical bar sliders and much LARGER In flavor and in taste too! The buns are soft and hold the dressings you may choose very well. As we were eating ART stopped by to see how we were enjoying our food. He asked for any feedback, good or bad, about our food and experience so far. We had no negative feedback to offer. Art explained that this Tamarac location was the first in Florida with many more to come, adding to the chain's Michigan (Home base), Ohio, Tennessee and now Florida, to a rapidly expanding growth plan. I have to come to back to try one of the frozen Custard hand whipped shakes... the Banana Pudding Shake!!! Higher food quality than your average fast food burger joint (similar to Five Guys in burger meat quality, but fries are not as good as they are commercial crinkle cuts -- the spicy stuff they put on it improves them, though.). It's not inexpensive, and a small order took almost 20 minutes to come out at a not-so-busy place. Lots of little upcharges for the "premium" sliders. It isn't bad for what it is but I'm not likely to be a repeat customer. I didn't try the shakes. Chicken fingers were okay, Rachel said Publix has better ones -- I even think Popeyes (and certainly CfA and Krispy Krunchy) is better. The falafel slider was good but had cheese on it. Protip: The POS they use is different than any other I have used in SoFL at a QSR and is very confusing -- especially to opt out of a tip because you have to hit a physical "F" button. read more
