After my wait I get called up and told "we've done too many tests today so you'll have to come back on Monday". Keep in mind this was at around 2pm I was turned away but they state that they accept walking until 3pm. Absolutely ridiculous and who would have know that the lab can't run many lab tests or hit a "quota" for the day. As I was waiting, in case someone doesn't show up, I saw another gentleman be turned away for the 2nd day in a row due to the same "quota" being met. Highly do not recommend it's an absolute mess and waste of time.

I'm upset that the worker wasted my time telling me to drive 30min to a different location and assured me that they'd accept me when I specifically asked if that location can max out also. The LB location told me that the Tustin worker had no right to assure me of this and they couldn't help me. Lesson learned: never show up without an appointment because walk ins are impossible. And book your appointment early because they're booked out 2+ weeks in advance.

I've been to the lab several times and it's always the same story. Hang on! Then they said it was a problem with my bank. I went to my bank and there is no problem with my bank. This never happened. However, I was able to find it which is in the grey building and once you walk into the building entrance it is located on the left where there is a bench. There is an entrance door with the schedule and a QR code with information on how to schedule an appointment here. You could come as a walk-in too. I had scheduled an appointment via phone where I had to talk to an automated system and get an appointment confirmation number. I recommend writing down or taking note of your confirmation number because when I checked in today (06/29/2026) the Quest Diagnostics system mentioned there was no appointment for me using my name, birthday, and phone number. When I used the appointment confirmation code, it confirmed I had an appointment so MAKE SURE TO GET CONFIRMATION NUMBER in case the system wants to make your day challenging. Good thing I came about a little over half an hour earlier because this would have been a potential issue for me to be seen quicker or at the time I scheduled. Also, MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID and INSURANCE CARDS where you will be scanning them near the bottom right side of the iPad check-in monitors. In terms of the type of care I received a serum blood test for my metabolic panel and pregnancy, the quality of the care was straightforward and fast. I sat down in the chair where there is an armrest. Gave the paperwork order for my bloodwork to the phlebotomist. She verified my basic information and then started to feel out my veins on my arm. She was able to find my vein with no issue which was relieving for me because I've had many times where I'm a "hard stick" where I've been poked multiple times before getting any blood drawn so that was nice. I liked that she was mindful of my name being spelled correctly and that my information was correct. Thank you.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Quest Diagnostics. We…read morescheduled an appointment online and arrived on time, but still had to wait nearly 40 minutes to be seen -- with a 1-year-old baby in hand. When we were finally called in, they informed us they had run out of baby needles and sent us to a different location 20 minutes away. At the second location, we were forced to wait as walk-ins for over an hour. Even worse, they were out of baby vials (blood tubes) and couldn't draw all the labs in one go. The staff was clearly unprepared -- they didn't know how to split the labs or calculate how much blood could be safely drawn based on my baby's weight. The whole ordeal lasted over 3.5 hours. At no point did anyone take responsibility or show any concern for the fact that we were dealing with a small child. We had disclosed this information when booking the appointment. Why weren't we notified about the lack of appropriate equipment before we arrived? This experience was not only a massive waste of time but also incredibly stressful and frustrating. Quest Diagnostics showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for patients -- especially infants. We will not be returning.
