I'm usually a hard stick but he got me the first time! The phlebotomist was very friendly and I waited for maybe 5 minutes.

That said, once you're inside, the signs are clear and it's easy to navigate. I walked out of my appointment with the biggest smile on my face thanks to Nanh Lam, who was my technician. She made sure I felt comfortable from start to finish. * She used a different needle to make the draw more comfortable * She was warm, friendly, and talkative, which really helped calm my nerves * She was extremely skilled--I've had painful experiences before, including a collapsed vein, so I know the difference! * Her care and confidence made me feel completely at ease Nanh truly changed my experience. I will definitely be coming back and will specifically request her. Highly recommend to all friends and family. Thank you Nanh!

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a very upsetting and unacceptable experience I had at the Labcorp location in Westminster during my appointment. From the moment I checked in, the experience was uncomfortable. The receptionist was speaking very loudly, came across as aggressive, and there was a significant language barrier that made it extremely difficult to understand her instructions. I had brought a saliva test kit that I needed to drop off, but instead of clearly explaining where I needed to take it, she repeatedly told me to "go to the back" without specifying where. She then directed me to Room 3, where a phlebotomist was already with another patient, leaving me confused about what I was supposed to do. I would also like to express a broader concern. Because there appeared to be such a significant language barrier between staff and patients, I noticed that when patients did not immediately understand the instructions, the staff became frustrated and aggressive rather than taking the time to communicate clearly. This created an intimidating and uncomfortable environment. After I sat down, the male employee in the back came over and asked why I was there. Again, it was very difficult to understand him. He repeatedly said, "Come here," while directing me to another area. He handed me a pencil and pointed to a sign-in sheet. Since he did not clearly explain what he wanted, I believed he was asking me to write my name and the date, so I began doing exactly that. Without warning, he slapped my hand, grabbed the pencil out of my hand, and threw it aside. There is absolutely no justification for a Labcorp employee to put his hands on a patient. I was shocked, embarrassed, and extremely uncomfortable. No patient should ever be touched in this manner simply because there was a misunderstanding in communication. As a young woman, I was able to process what happened and speak up for myself. However, I cannot stop thinking about how an elderly patient, someone with limited English proficiency, or someone who is more vulnerable would have experienced this situation. Physical contact should never be used to communicate with a patient. If someone does not understand instructions, the appropriate response is to explain them more clearly--not to slap a patient's hand. I consider this to be a very serious matter. Patients trust Labcorp to provide a safe, respectful, and professional environment. What happened to me violated that trust. I am requesting an immediate investigation into this incident, including a review of the conduct of the employee involved and the overall professionalism and communication practices at this Westminster location. I also ask that appropriate corrective action be taken to ensure no other patient experiences what I did. I would appreciate a written response regarding the outcome of this complaint and the steps Labcorp intends to take to address this matter. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious concern.

She was required to fast before the appointment, so we came early in the morning before school. We waited almost 3 hours in the waiting room. When I finally asked what was happening, the staff told me they had skipped my daughter because they did not know how to pronounce her name. No one had called us or tried to ask. Another major issue was communication. The receptionist did not speak English, and no one in the clinic seemed able to communicate with us in English. This made it very difficult to ask questions or understand what was happening. After the labs were finally done, I asked for a simple doctor's note for my daughter's school since she missed the morning due to fasting and the appointment. The receptionist said she did not know what that was and could not provide one. Overall, the long wait, lack of communication, and inability to provide basic documentation made this a very stressful experience for both me and my daughter. I wish I can give it 0 stars . I will never go there again !! Horrible experience!!! Bad customer service!!!
