Traveling from San Antonio to Dallas late on a Sunday afternoon and my alternator went out, right when I drove into Waco. I figured I'd have a hard time finding an open shop that could get my repair done quickly. But, I came across CMP, saw that they were open 24/7, called them, and Mike was at my location with a tow truck within 30 minutes. A few hours later Mike called and confirmed the alternator needed replacement, gave me a quote, also said my rear brake pads should be replaced, I said no thank you to that, just fix the alternator. Stayed the night in Waco and he had the job done by the next afternoon...AND he went ahead and threw in new brake pads for free. You might find a cheaper shop (or you might not) but you'll be hard pressed to find a shop that goes as far out of their way to help you fix your car. Definitely recommended. read more

I don't usually leave comments but I just wanted to say how glad I am that I talked to Mike the owner of CMP auto repair shop, my granddaughter car broke down and (she have little money to spend) I'm assuming it's the rack and pinion system. After he reviewed the tex photos that's need to be repair, he gave me a very fair estimate cost of repair and towing. I have talked to several local repair shop in Waco and they all gave me some outrageous prices. Thanks Mike! You're an awesome person and owner. His prices for repairs are very reasonable and we would recommend his services to anyone. We are new here in Waco and it's nice to know that there are still have honest person/mechanics around. It was Sunday afternoon and our Grandson was leaving school to go home, but his car wouldn't start. We called CMP Auto Repair and they towed the car to their garage. They are open 24 hours a day. That is amazing!!! They diagnosed the problem and repaired several other things we requested. We also needed an inspection which they were able to complete. We are in California, so we needed to communicate by phone. Mike was amazing to work with, and kept us informed concerning each thing we needed done. Our grandson was able to pick up his repaired car when he returned to school. Mike definitely went the extra mile to make the whole situation easy instead of what could have been a nitghtmare. From the moment I met Mike, he was nice and helpful. One of my cars was turning off on me while I was driving but I made it to O'Rielly's Auto Part . Mike was there and he suggested a more advanced diagnostic assessment because O'Rielly's assessment tool did not get reading. I agreed to the assessment from Mike and so was able to take my car to diagnose the issue. As for me I would return to CMP for auto repair because as a woman many times we feel like we are being taken advantage of and /or disrespected.I didn't have those feelings when I met Mike. He made me feel comfortable and he made me feel like he wanted to help. That's all I really needed The service was Awesome!!! read more

Took me a while to write this review because I was trying to come up with the right words for the amazing service. This may have been the best service I have ever received for my car. Mike worked with me everyday getting my car fixed. I went through a lot with my insurance and he was very patient and very helpful!!
