Christine was amazing to work with and I can't say enough about her and her team at CMS Interior. We did a complete tear-down and new build in Manhattan Beach and our architect referred her to us. After interviewing three interior designers, I went with Christine. Her energy, passion, and design knowledge really sold me. She honed in on my ideas and specific style and produced both hand-drawn and CAD design sketches with a range of samples of everything from paint colors, lighting fixtures, tiles, hardware, wall finishes, etc. She made the overwhelming design process very easy for me by narrowing down the materials and furnishings. She was very considerate of my budget and always provided an array of material options within my allowance to choose from. Christine provided timelines and coordinated progress meetings. She worked closely with my architect, contractor, and subcontractors every step of the way, was present at all project meetings and walk-thru's, and oversaw the installation of design elements. We've been in our home since 2017 now and every room turned out spectacular. I've received so many compliments on the attention to detail and the high-quality design. I highly recommend Christine!! Five stars are not enough! I found Christine online when I decided to remodel my four bathrooms.  Let me say, hiring her was the best choice I could have made.  From beginning to end, she made the entire process easy and stress free.  One of the reasons I chose her is because she acts as designer AND contractor.  I work full time so had no time to shop for tiles, vanities, faucets, etc.  Christine came to my home and brought suggestions to me and from there we chose the design together.  She ordered everything and had it delivered to my house so that I never had to go into one store.  Her entire crew was wonderful to work with, from the demolition, plumbers, electrician and tile guys.  Even when there were hiccups (because there are always hiccups), she made everything right.  I could not be happier with the final outcome and am now planning on remodeling my kitchen.  I have complete faith that when I start that project, Christine will do an outstanding job!!!! read more

My wife and I met with Christine about helping us redesign our kitchen. Christine came across as very friendly and we also liked how interested she was in making sure that the kitchen fit in with the rest of our house. A few days after meeting Christine emailed a full proposal that included everything we'd need to get the ball rolling on our project. The proposal included 3 parts: 1.Site survey/consultation/client interview; 2. Concept presentations; 3 Project and construction supervision; and 4. Close out visit. We were not quite ready for phases 3 &4 and asked if Christine might revise our proposal to include just the design services. While Christine was happy to remove the construction and close out portions, she was unwilling to adjust the associated fees leaving us pretty disappointed. If a kitchen proposal was modified and the price remained the same are we left to conclude that those services not provided had little if any monetary value? Or, maybe there is just very little flexibility in what Christine offers. read more

My wife and I worked with Christine on a large, home renovation project. Christine and CMS Interior Design were amazing to work with! We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of our project and our extremely positive experience with Christine and her team. Shortly after meeting Christine, we immediately felt a connection and knew that we could work with her and that she could do the job. After attentively listening to my wife and me, asking questions, and surveying our interests, wants and needs, Christine quickly determined a design style that both my wife and I would be happy with and that would meet our functional needs. Christine helped us make many difficult decisions over many months. She met us at our home for working meetings on many occasions. We wanted to ensure we had sufficient storage, flow, a better functioning kitchen and a home theater area, in addition to meeting my wife's and my differing design styles and preferences, with focus on ensuring our home's functionality for us and our young daughter. My wife and I started off worlds apart, but Christine quickly bridged the gap, paving the way for a fairly smooth and unimpeded redesign process. Amazingly, Christine was able to find a design style that satisfied both of us! She helped us select paint colors, furnishings (including sizing and placement), flooring, window treatments, artwork, fireplace, door and cabinet hardware, mirrors and material for the bench seating. She helped us design a new kitchen pantry and bench seating to go with the existing kitchen cabinets and layout, in addition to helping us layout new ceiling fans, recessed lighting, a chandelier, pendant lights, and all of the finishing touches such as area rugs, flowers, and accessories. She met us at furniture stores and home goods stores to help us select items. She brought along samples of what we had selected to ensure everything would work well together. We worked with Christine for well over one year, and we can't say enough good things about her. She was always responsive and communicative--an imperative when undertaking what we did. She made a stressful and challenging process as easy as humanly possible. She has a wonderful personality and a genuine passion for her work, and it was clear that this was more than a job for her. She found this challenging, rewarding and fun. She was budget and schedule conscious and flexible with our schedules. Christine is an amazing interior designer and a highly competent, experienced and flexible person to work with. She is the consummate professional. There is absolutely no way my wife and I could have done it without her, and we are so glad we enlisted her services. Working with Christine paid for itself many times over.
