Waited time was less than 10 minutes. We didn't catch my mom's techs name but she was friendly, professional and polite and made my mom feel at ease. FRUSTRATING ... July 18, 2026 MRI on left knee to determine if surgery needed as always in pain. Called twice to ask about report as it's been 8 business days, now July 30th, 2026 - still no report. I was told the radiologists are back logged and it'll take as long it takes, could not say when my MRI will be read and what may help is for me to call my doctor who may request my report to be expedited - which may or may not help. REALLY ... in the meantime, I'm in pain and until my MRI report is read my doctor is unable to determine if surgery and type of surgery may be needed. DEFINITELY ... will never use Coachella Valley Imaging for anything, including my mammogram which has been leaving messages for me to call for an appointmentl HOW ... can a person rely on this company if there is a SERIOUS need for imaging ... such as cancer or other dangerous life need to know? read more

No one likes MRI's but I try to embrace it and stay still throughout the procedure so the process is quicker and easier for myself and the technician. Today I had not one not two but THREE MRI's back-to-back-to-back -- you read that right (yes, they're open on Saturdays) And, I need to go back next week for a 4th -- unlucky me due to a scheduling problem and mistake by RadNet :-( But it was no mistake of CVI PD, and their entire team bent over backwards & forward to accommodate me. Luckily for me, I found this place because from the moment I stepped inside, I felt a cool & calming Polynesian vibe as if I was on vacation...and the only thing missing was a Tropical cocktail with a tiny umbrella inside the glass. The facility is clean and tidy. Alisha and Yavellie and Claudia treated me with the utmost kindness & respect while all smiles because they truly care. I've experienced my fair share of medical offices and staffs...and can honestly claim and profess that Coachella Valley Imaging PD has the best & most incredible team & customer service I've experienced in a long time. Natalie went above & beyond and even contacted my insurance company on my behalf -- who does that? Natalie does & did and offered. My Tech, Jaime, was very friendly and cool and we worked very well together for my 1 hour trifecta. The MRI machine tho is slightly old & outdated but that doesn't mean it doesn't do the deed and runs like a well-oiled machine, like myself & my car :-) When I first scheduled my appointment, I tried to go to a different lab & facility that's a little closer to home, but the wait time was longer so I decided on this location for a quicker turnaround. Once you get though all of their ridiculous prompts and attempts to give you as little CUSTOMER SERVICE as possible, I finally racked a HUMAN BEING who put me on hold for 10 minutes before she began wanting all my insurance information, DOB, send me a link to fill out their forms etc., all before telling me if they have an appointment available today or not. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!!! Go anywhere besides here. They do not care about patients in pain, all they care about is getting you to do THEIR JOBS by forcing you to fill out crap on their website before they'll even commit to an appointment. I arrived early as requested, waited an hour, then told they were behind and it would be another hour wait. Finally get to the back for an MRI and the tech wiped the area for the IV with the alcohol prep, blows on it to dry, then continued to palpate for the vein with no gloves which defeated the purpose of keeping the area clean and sterile. I looked away for the needle insertion and felt him fishing for the vein, he finally withdrew the needle and I noticed he had no gloves on. Very unprofessional. read more

This is one of the worst facilities I've ever had to go to in order to get my MRI's done. The girl checking me in was rude. She was on the phone talking to someone else while also trying to get my information. I was trying to ask her about my appointments. They are always 20-30 minutes behind your scheduled appointment time which is frustrating when they ask you to come in 20 minutes before your appointment so by the time you get back there it's been an hour before you actually get your MRI. The last time I got my MRI results back it had to be reread by another doctor because the first doctor showed nothing wrong when the MRI FROM 18months prior showed quite a bit of deterioration. read more

I found this company on more than one occasion to be seriously lacking in many areas. Not easy to book an appointment at preferred location. Slow turnaround in results (7-10days) compared to other places (Halo Diagnostics is only 3 days) Language barrier often times when trying to schedule appointment and when asking patient intake questions. Request that you be there 1 hour before appointment for what they say is "preparation" even if all your paperwork complete and no preparation is even needed. Not professional, lacking in employee knowledge and training. read more

They told us that they had the MRI instructions for her implant 2 times on the phone ready to go and when we get there they act like they don't have a clue? They can do an MRI but they're not educated and or informed how to do it and then they should not be operating an MRI on anyone! They are going to hurt someone!!!!!!!! I accompanied my husband for his CT scan yesterday. The check in was was a breeze at the front desk by the friendly receptionist. We sunk downtown to a lovely sofa with throw cushions surrounded by a couple of huge aquariums. We were an hour early but imagine our surprise when after ony 30 minutes we were taken early. My husband was in and out of his CT of face in 3 minutes by a sensitive and caring technician. I would come here again. read more

The front desk ladies need a bunch of customer service re-training. No welcome greeting . No smile. A clipboard new patient sheet was smacked down on the desk top with orders to fill it out & return it. Asked for my ID & asked did I bring a credit card ?When my reminder message was left on my home phone it was so fast & garbled I had to listen to it 6 times. The Office is very posh, with comfortable couches, good reading material, and wonderful Hollywood decor!. The Staff was fast and professional. I was out in 30 minutes. If you can accept the indifferent front staff, the imaging staff seemed professional although they took a couple weeks (after multiple followup calls) to get results to our doctor when most places seem to get them there in a couple of days. Reception area and every treatment room decor was extremely different. One of the scanning rooms had what the staff called "evil elves" the other had huge carosel horses. I have had a problem scheduling with this business which I let it go because they are around the corner from my house. However, their billing department, Maria specifically, is so rude. I received a past due notice on a bill I paid at the business itself. When I called Maria last night she did clarify that she received that payment, however I now owe close to $400 for services done in April of 2017. I was appalled learning this. "Why haven't you billed me before", "What is this for" I ask. Her remark was they have 5 years to do billing....Seriously! She said in a very nasty tone, don't you pay off your insurance statements...I said, NO, I pay from bills that are sent to me. Sometimes, these statement are awaiting more codes. She repeated what she said her nasty tone and then hung up on me. I will no longer do business with this company unless that lady wants to apologize. read more

I agree with Tom the front staff was indifferent. She couldn't find my order and did nothing to help me. She said she would make a call 3 people walked in behind me and she immediately helped them. When I went back up to the counter she asked me my name again. She then told me I would be behind everyone else, I said my lost order is not my fault, her reply was, it isn't mine either. I made a call to the company that called me to sit up this X-ray last week and got the order refaxed myself. Although Karen appeared very nice and friendly on the surface it also appeared she couldn't care less by her lack of assisting you. Efficient, competent and friendly Admin and Tech staff treats patients very well. Billing office resolved an issue correctly and rapidly. Office decor is a bit over the top and more Las Vegas Hotel than desert medical facility-- but that's a pleasant change from a stark sterile interior. There is no reason in this modern day and age to have to endure the loud noises of these MRI machines. I was given a wimpy pair of earplugs and shoved in the machine for 15 minutes to endure unbelievable noises. There are noise canceling earplugs that should be available on each and every patient. At no time during the pre-appointment was there any discussion other than claustrophobia which I fortunately do not suffer from however the noise was unbearable and totally unnecessary. read more

Arrived a couple of minutes prior to my appointment. Told that I was too late as I have paperwork to fill out. In what world is arriving early considered late!? After arguing saying that I was early and even called the Palm Springs office to confirm my time did they take me back. Also was told that I should apologize despite being early. To be clear, even though I arrived prior to my appointment, they require you to come 15 minutes early apparently. Receptionist was incredibly rude. I was very surprised and pleased by the customer service provided by Malarie (front staff reception). All too many doctor offices have very cold/callused and careless attitudes when dealing with patients (from patient questions to concerns). Not Malarie. She was very professional, kind and empathetic. If she didn't know an answer to my question she immediately found out vs. just blowing me off with an "I don't know" attitude as did the Palm Springs location and other doctor offices. Malarie completely put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable and happy that I drove further to the Palm Desert location. The imaging itself was detailed and helpful, even though it was not the full body scan that was advertised. The physician (Kelly) has a habit of taking phone calls in the middle of his consultation with you (three during my 15-minute visit); that is not professional in any business. The biggest problem was having to call the billing department six times to get a statement with enough detail that my insurance company would pay it. It's been seven months and I am still waiting for a one-page invoice to be faxed. I'd go elsewhere to a more businesslike practice. read more

Do not use this facility if you need assistance. I have had several back surgeries and perhaps a dozen different scans. I use a cane and a walker and was not allowed either once in room with tech. She stood with arms crossed and started giving orders. I was obviously having a problem which she chose to ignore. Once on the machine bed, after much difficulty, she continued to direct..... this way a bit, up a tad, etc. By the time I was positioned properly I was cramping so badly I couldn't continue. I was trying to raise myself up and finally asked if she could give me a hand. The answer was no, it was a liability issue and she could lose her license.
