I procrastinated. I waited until I had almost no more clothes to wear and needed GIANT washers and dryers. This place was perfect! This laundromat wasn't crowded and quite clean and modern. The owner/manager (not sure) was really helpful! It was my first time using a laundromat and he was more than accommodating. Free WiFi and a nice area to wait in the front, TV's as well. The machines were modern too and took half as long as regular machines. All of my clothes came out without any damage and washed properly. I had three large loads and it all cost $20. There are restaurants walking distance, which is nice when you have time to kill waiting for each cycle. This was my laundry place for YEARS. Ever since COVID hit, I guess more people dropped off clothes for their fluff n food service and they've just never given that business up? It's just not feasible to do your own laundry there anymore. The machines are always taken by the fluff n fold service, and the place is pretty small, which I used to love. There is only a small space to fold your own things and lately if there is one small couple or family they take up the entire table! And the back table is again being used only by the fluff n fold service. They don't enforce masks for their customers and they don't wear masks themselves. They used to have normal hours but due to their high volume of fluff n fold bus Jess, they now have 'Last Wash' at like 5pm or something. That's not enough time for my us to get home from work, eat, pickup the kid from daycare, and head over there only to fight the fluff n fold for a couple of machines. This little spot was my spot...but it's pretty much gone now. If you still wash there, you know what I mean :( read more

I had a great experience there today. The guy there was super helpful. When he could have had me spend more money on the bigger machines he let me know all I needed was the 1.50 one as opposed to the 4.50 one. The place isn't big so it's easy to make a mess like I did but I cleaned it up as should others. Parking was easy, I didn't have to wait for machines. I really like this little laundromat, the machines clean well, the dryers dry well. The attendants are really nice. The only real problem I have is that when I go, I feel as though I need to compete with the attendants for machines. The laundry business has a cleaning service and the attendants tend to use all the big machines or best machines for washing. Also, they use up all the counter space for folding. The last three times I've gone, I've basically had to take my laundry home to fold. If the attendants see customers needing folding space, they should make room for them. I think it does a disservice for those of us who are coming to use the facility. We have to work around the attendants, and walk around all their bags of laundry on the floors when they are working. I think the place should be more customer oriented for those of us electing to do our own laundry at such a facility. Hopefully some changes get implemented so that we don't have to battle for machines and counter space to fold. Especially during rush hours. read more

This was my first time at a laundromat. My cleaners wanted way too much to clean my comforter/mattress pad/pillows so off to the laundromat I went. They have fluff & fold service which I'll definitely take advantage of next time. Being a newbie, I had no idea what I was doing. The guy was super helpful and very nice. He also gave me a good recommendation for a place to eat while I waited. The place was very clean, which one expects when going in to get their own stuff cleaned. They have wi-fi. The washers take cards. The dryers take coins. I ended up spending $32 (incld tip) to clean my cal-king comforter/mattress pad and 8 pillows. I thought this was a great deal considering my cleaners wanted over $200. If you don't have cash they'll give you quarters and you can pay using your card. Overall I couldn't be happier. read more

With laundry places all over Costa Mesa, I decided to go to Coast Coin Laundry because other reviews had said the owners were friendly & helpful. Indeed they were! The owner greeted me when I walked in & gave me recommendations of which washer I should use, drying time, & tips to help speed it along. I used the 4-load washer ($4.75) & 2 dryers for about $1/ea. Most detergents & dryer sheets are $0.75. I overheard the owner saying they did a complete remodel from the pipes to electrical & all the machines are clean & no funky smells! I definitely prefer Coast Coin over Sudz, it's quieter and the people are just more helpful here. They also provide fluff-n-fold services (same-day available for a bit more). This place is great! I had to search for a place after my local spot shut down. Originally I went to the Suds Laundry Center across the street, but you need a stinkin' proprietary cash card to use their machines! What happened to good ol' quarters?! On top of that the prices are set up so you're always left with a balance and you're forced to use their machines only. No thanks. So I go on Yelp and look for another place...this laundromat was right across the street! The machines are squeaky clean and brand new! Unlike the other place, it's super quiet here - perfect if you need to get some work done. On top of that, there's free WiFi and work stations so you can bring your laptop or tablet. If you didn't bring any electronics, dear not, there are two flat screen televisions to pass the time. The manager staffing the laundromat is super nice. Upon entering the laundromat he greeted me and asked if I had questions. I initially was going to use a four-load machine and asked him if I should use a six-load machine instead. He said I could use a four-loader, but my blankets and etc. wouldn't be as clean since they won't agitate as well. I could tell he was being honest and went with a six-load machine instead (btw, it's $4.75 for a "normal wash" four-load and $6 for a six-load, just a $1.25 difference). Here's the nest part - you can use your credit card on the machines too! I ended up going with that option since I didn't want to exchange dollar after dollar. It's kind of weird saying this but I enjoyed my experience here and am happy to say it'll be my go-to laundromat in the Costa Mesa area from now on! :) read more

This laundromat is simply amazing. Everything is brand-new. It's super clean and modern. They have TVs on the walls so you don't get bored while you're washing a weeks worth of clothes :) There's free Wi-Fi and a place to sit with your laptop or iPad with comfy stool and clean tables. The machines are brand new industrial size and wash excellent. Different size machines for different needs. With different price options depending on the type of wash. The dryers are huge and new too! If you forget to bring your own soap they have a machine you can buy soap from! This place is super clean, with AC and it's the best one I've ever seen.
