Risk your clothing to be bleached!!!! I never use bleach in public laundry machines, hoping the soap and intense heat is enough. Dryers are always eating your dollars, but once I emailed their customer service, I always got the refund within a few days, few dollars lost on some of the fryers I never asked for refund on. Great hours! Poor equipment, and EXPENSIVE. The washing machines are tiny, so it cost me $6.75 to do one load (in a Triple Load machine), versus $2.75 at my other place. And the dryers... Only the bottom row of dryers accept the Phone App payment. Not convenient. AND, after 28min, my clothes weren't dry! So, I had to start over, with another payment, for another 16min. And getting the WiFi password? You gotta text the owner's service number to get it. It's been over an hour, and still no response. Frankly, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I absolutely hate doing laundry but this place has made it as bearable and as comfortable as possible. I had a machine not working properly and texted the owners- they fixed it for me immediately! I am so impressed consistently with Newport Laundry and their professionalism. The area is always and regularly cleaned, there's snacks and drinks available to buy, a tv and music playing, and conveniently located on the peninsula. I am so grateful for and cannot say enough good things about Newport Laundry. While it's a bit more expensive than the surrounding laundry mats, I think it's worth it. 10/10 kindest owners I've met and dealt with in a long time. You can tell they actually care! read more

Stayed at local hotel up the street and very fortunate to find a Laundry facility on the peninsula. Clean, modern and safely open 24/7. Owner is hands on. If you want to save time for the beach I'd highly recommend. The minimal cost to stay in the peninsula to do laundry and spend more time for the beach makes the spot a great bargain.​ read more

This is the only laundromat I'd ever use! Staffed and clean! Convenient parking also.

I'm a long time client of this laundry and over the last year or so, the place has changed completely! It has become a night and day difference from before. In the past it was very run down, not taken care of, but now it's different. They fixed all the machines, they revamped the entire place and even added a vending machine with snacks and laundry essentials in case you forget something. The experience of coming here is so much more enjoyable now, cleaner, and safer than before. Don't hesitate to give this place a try now! read more

It's my first time here and honestly,it's pretty legit. I called the owners phone number because I was curious what the official hours were, since Apple Maps and Google Maps had two different hours of operation. The Google Maps listing has the correct business hours. After 5 minutes the owners texted me back quickly asking if I needed help, but I answered my own question so I just thanked them and went about my business. If you come at night be careful if your parking on Balboa Blvd, people drive insane! Hence an abundance of negligent drives. Also lots of stupid people riding bikes and skateboard without any type of lights or safety gear so watch out for those people as well. All in all, this is a chill little laundry spot. Night time is my preferred time, because you'll only encounter a couple of friendly locals that mind their own business. I like how people that come here mind their own business and do their laundry then dip. You won't see any questionable charters loitering. This place gets a thumbs up from me! read more
