All I can say is the team was amazing. I had not been to the dentist in a few years, but I previously went to this location when they were on base. They welcomed me back like I never left. Mercedes did my cleaning last week, and she was amazing. The entire team treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I still have a few more appointments coming up, and I have a lot of international travel in between, but I'm hoping to get back on schedule with my dental health. I would give 0 stars if I could. I set an appointment for 8:00 am because I was in a horrible amount of pain. Showed up early to my appointment and sat right outside the office in the building lobby. When I entered, I was told I probably wasn't going to be seen because they were fully booked which I found extremely odd because I had an APPOINTMENT, in a moment of weakness I insisted I just needed to be seen and wouldn't need any work done as I had to be at work in a few hours, they reluctantly agreed to see me and l I was then shuffled into an office for X-rays. The dentist however took more than an hour to see me, upon walking in the room he looks into my mouth for 2 seconds, said "what pharmacy do you use?" and when I told him, his response was " okay well you can go" which I found to be incredibly dismissive and rude, gave me the impression that the DDS Safari only cares about getting paid and could care less about his patients. I'm now being harassed to pay a 45$ charge that appeared out of thin air, when I had to pay before I left and DID pay. As a person of color I would never use this company again nor would I recommend it to any person of color because they do not care about you. Unfortunately, they scheduled me and my son on the same day for appointments. My appointment was cut short right before I was supposed to get a filling redone that was falling out because I was told my husband had been waiting for me in the waiting room only to go to the waiting room to find out it was my son and they had canceled his appointment so he was not able to be seen. I didn't get my filling replaced. That is now coming out of my tooth at this moment and they told me they would not be able to get me in for a month. No one took accountability. Dr was great and did my cleaning. Was a quick and painless visit.had to wait a bit to set the 6 month apt but all in all was very impressed with the staff and facility. If I could give this company 0 stars I would!!!! We were previous customers of this location while we were there they were great. Now after we were leaving this is when it all goes down hill. We moved to CO and there is no coast dental out here so we asked for a copy of his medical release form so we can get him seen elsewhere to finish treatment. We have waited over 5 months to receive this email!!!! They are dropping the ball big time.. I spoke with them before their move so that is no excuse as to why we are still waiting to hear back. We have been patient enough. Now all I keep getting is our system is down please call by the end of this week. I keep calling and get the same answer so here we are still waiting.... This is honestly so ridiculous I called today I kid you not over 20 times just to transferred to their call center where no one knows anything and cant help at all because their system is also down. My first visit was one like no other. I made new comer files for my children. I notice a lady (patient) looking at me, I didn't recognize her so I continued my paperwork. The lady hands me a piece of paper and just as she turns to walk away the office call s us back. My kids are taken back to get there X-rays and teeth cleaned. As I wait for my tech to come in, I read the paper. "These people are not honest. They have said things were wrong, when they weren't. Get a second opinion". What?!? So they take my X-rays and tell me I need 9 crowns! I explained to them I didn't want them to clean my teeth. I picked up my kids and left. Techs said they had cavities but after the note and the prices forecast. I needed to find a second opinion. I signed a release in the fall for them to email my new Dentist the X-rays. February the kids and I come in and they have not emailed anything. I spoke with the admin manger. I was told that she would EMAIL the charts and X-rays over ASAP. She FAXES them over. Faxing charts okay, but X-rays? I called them again, she was out for lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour. She is the only one authorized to to email or fax records. This is manor of business is unacceptable. As a military families we have an abundance of stress. This office just adds more stress to. Instead of 9 crowns I have a few cavities. My total proposed bill $5,175.00 My new dentist has taken good care of my family. Before showing them my proposed plan from coastal, They said I needed a few cavities. Which cost me a very little. I love everyone here!!! From the receptionist to the dentist, hygienist and oral surgeon, they're all very professional and very friendly. I can't complain not one single bit about anything. I visit my hygienist quite often and she makes me feel vet comfortable here. I feel like I have a special connection with her. Mrs. Whitney is amazing! If I could leave zero stars I definitely would! We moved to a different state May 5th due to PCS short orders. I informed the office a month in advance about this move, Lori told me "no worries I will begin the cancellation and reimbursement for your daughter's braces and when you find a new Orthodontist have the office give us a call." We moved and arrived to NC May 7th, I found a dentist for my daughter and they tell me they need an AAO transfer from Coast Dental, not a problem right because Lori told me the office just has to call them. I called Coast dental because they never answered the new dentist and the new dentist suggested I call because without the AAO transfer my daughter can't be seen. I have called every Friday since I moved in May to receive my daughter's transfer paperwork and reimbursement. Every time I call I get a different excuse, which don't get me wrong I understood the first two weeks, "we're understaffed, we're busy, Lori will get back to you(she has never returned any of my calls) Morgan was the Only staff member that was able to send a partial, just to get my daughter scheduled with the new dentist. My daughter was supposed to be seen April 21 for maintenance on her braces with coast dental, we are in July and my daughter has yet to be seen here in NC because Lori failed to send the AAO transfer. I called again today July 8th at 4:17 pm cst to inquire again about the reimbursement because they charged my account in June for a service that wasn't provided. Lori responded "well it's going to take an additional 6-8 months to be reimbursed." No big deal right since its not your kid missing treatment and it's not you losing out on your hard earned money? This office besides Morgan who actually took the initial step to help me, is extremely unprofessional and I will be talking to the Dental Board of Texas regarding this matter. First off, I want to say that you can not post anything to coast dental Facebook page that they do not want the public to read and get "the whole picture". The only things you will find on their Facebook page a 100% positive comments from customers. I posted some honest constructive feedback on their page and it was deleted in less than a few hours. I take my daughter there for both dental and orthodontic needs and have no problem with the care she receives, they took great care of her needs, are a friendly staff, and made her feel comfortable. However, her post-op needs were not fully met when she received oral surgery. I did not receive "at least" a first change of gauze after she had 8 teeth pulled. She was wheeled out to my car and was extremely nauseated from the procedure. I could not go directly to a store while driving her around in this condition and took her straight home. She had to sit there alone while I scurried to the store to get gauze so she could put some food in her stomach and take her pain medication. Never received a phone call from them to see how she was doing, which should be part of their service. My daughter hugged the toilet up until midnight and it would have been nice for them to check up on her and maybe give me some advice. read more

Please please please don't go here. There is so much wrong with this place. They recommended my son get so much dental work that he didn't even need. It was so much that I got a second opinion and found most of it was unnecessary. I had an unexpected charge and had to call for about 6 months to get an answer to what it was. I got frustrated and finally went in to the office one day. Someone took me into an office and explained the situation, which I was grateful for because I really needed some clarification but she was soooooooo rude. Tania or tanita was her name, I forgot.
