I called at the last minute (seriously, only about 2 hours' notice) because others I found on Craigslist weren't responding for days. Jonathan was very helpful and said the crew would arrive by noon. Well, as often happens in this business, their morning job ran late, plus they got stuck in football game traffic. But they called to say they were about 40 minutes away, and sure enough, 40 minutes later they were on the doorstep. Ours was a small job, moving two kids from a tiny apartment to their college dorm rooms. They only had 2 pieces of furniture, not even a bed, lots of boxes, a few odd-shaped items, and about 20 delicate or fragile items. They lived on the third floor with no elevator. (The building is being demolished at the end of the month so it was an awesome summer deal). Jacob and his young partner were full of energy, polite and even cheerful! Seriously, the young partner in particular seemed to be enjoying himself!?! They finished in less than 2.5 hours. They made a point of saying that the kids' preparations made the whole move go so smoothly. I agree that the kids were (surprisingly) ultra-prepared. But Jacob and partner made it all happen in a flash. Nothing was damaged, not even the artwork packed in the Kellogg's Frosted Flake box. Everything was carefully placed into the two dorms. The price was higher than other advertisers. But they came through with only about 2 hours' notice and gave exemplary service, so I would pay the same again, without a doubt. Called Coast Movers and received prompt,friendly and courteous service. I reviewed how their company worked, and after receiving my info, emailed me a quote within 10 min. That price Never changed. That sealed the deal for me. The deposit was so small, I don't know why they even asked for one. I knew exactly what the move was going to cost, which I doubt any other company would be willing to commit to. I was contacted the day before the move was to take place and told who would be coming to the house. They arrived as schedule and after a quick walk through, began packing the trucks. They loaded the trucks like they were working on a puzzle. No space went unused. They took care of every request I had. Saying they worked hard would be an understatement. The delivery to my new location was right on schedule. They called in advance to let me know when they would be there and were right on time both days. Everything unloaded was put where I wanted it and all furniture was set back up. Don't waste alot of time hunting for movers, this is the company you want. I don't think there is another company out there that would commit to a price without seeing what they were going to move. For the satisfaction of knowing the price up front ( not a penny more over the quote ) this was money well spent. Thank you so very much for the smoothest move I've ever experienced. I've moved 19 times over the course of my life, so that's saying something! :) From the booking process all the way to moving day, everything was flawless! Even when we received news that our new place wasn't going to be ready for our original move-in date (the day before at 4:30pm, I might add) Coast Movers came through and saved the day. I was terrified that we would lose our spot and I'd have to start all over again to find movers with such short notice; but Jessica took care of everything and put my mind at ease! Phew! Crisis averted. The crew stayed in contact with us the day of our move so we knew exactly when they were on their way and when they would arrive. They were even able to make it an hour earlier. This company was so detailed and followed all instructions so well throughout the day! The crew had great team work and worked beyond the efforts I expected! We were highly impressed yet a 4th time as a repeat customer. Jonathon the owner and Jessica Assistant Manager have top notch customer service skills, and although estimates vary depending on the day and hours, I felt they were both trustworthy with their estimates. My move was a 4 man crew from Seattle to Gig Harbor. We had many heavy items and fragile items that were wrapped in blankets provided since we did not rent our own truck and rented the Coast Movers truck, blankets and dollys were in fact provided. They also put my childs crib together at no additonal cost and were asking all day if there were any additional things i needed help with. As a mom with little ones, this was very helpful to me. All crew members had positive attitudes. Not one item got damaged and I was highly impressed with their new Agreement Form where I was able to choose item insurance protection on my items to make sure they were all insured properly. JFS helped us move this weekend into our new home and all of the workers were totally awesome! They showed up on time, with smiles, and were extremely careful and helpful with all of our belongings. Jonathon went the extra mile as well when I initially spoke with him to give me discounts and offer competitive rates compared to the other movers that I called. Not only that, he wanted to make sure that we were completely satisified with the services that he provided, and we were! When they showed up at our home, they came prepared with dollys, pads, and tools, and it was great to have a 3 man crew because it made the move go by faster which ended up saving us money in the long run. One man was packing the truck while the two others were moving furniture. They definitely had a workable system and my husband and I were very pleased. We ended up giving them a big tip, which they really deserved! I would recommend them to all my family members and friends and will definitely be passing JFS TRANSPORT around with referrals! My friend recommended these guys to me after her relocation so when I needed to move some old furniture into storage Jonathon's two man crew came to my rescue. My hubby has a bad back and was skeptical at first upon seeing two smaller looking crew but boy did they know what they were doing. Unfortunately most of our furniture had to be transported down a flight of stairs and into a tiny elevator. They didn't miss a beat! Was very happy with Coast Movers services and will use them again. Coast Movers saved my whole move yesterday. We had had movers scheduled and lined up for moving my mom out of her house to an apartment but they didn't show up and upon pressing further learned they were either a scam or just a horribly run company. Unfortunately we already had a truck and no refund on it so I scrambled to find some labor to help. When I called Coast Movers the dispatcher Jessica was extremely friendly, quick and helpful. She was understanding to our situation got pertinent info and gave a quote immediately. We had two guys there within the next couple of hours. Cody and Alex were very nice and professional. I had no concerns about leaving my mother alone with them when I had to go back to work. They had it all done within the time frame even when a few unloading hiccups arose they still worked through it all beautifully. I will use them again with my next move this fall! read more

Don't use these inexperience, slow and worthless movers. The kids that moved 75% of my belongings lied to me and said they can fit all of my items on the truck except my TV. I said " don't worry about it. I will bring it over this evening when I get off of work." When I got back to the house 25% of my belongings where still there. I called and complained and they told me they returned the truck but they can send out a few guys to help load the trailer that I had to rent from Home Depot for an added cost. NO THANKS. They also damaged our new flooring because they were to lazy to put cushions under the legs when pushing dressers and other big items down the hall way and into rooms. I hired them to do a job and it wasn't complete. They charged me $800 for 5 hrs of incomplete work that could have been completed in 3 hrs. They don't deserve one star. Coast Movers saved the day! I had a very short timeframe during labor day weekend to find a reputable company to move to my new place. Jonathan explained over the phone pricing, availability, the type of truck and the team of movers. I felt like I made the right choice with this company because I felt comfortable with their service. The team of movers were friendly, accommodating and obviously strategized on how to get the move done quickly and carefully. I did not feel intimidated and felt very comfortable asking questions or making requests on moving items or furniture placement. Jonathon and his team worked with me on my relocation from LA to San Diego and it was a seamless move. Thank God! Things were quite hectic as my condo was sold quicker than I planned and I had a very small window to leave. Jonathon was considerate to my circumstances and gave me a very great rate. We moved from a townhouse to a 2 bedroom apartment and it was overwhelming (much more overwhelming because things weren't going well for us). Even with all the challenges present, this moving company made them smooth as breeze, which was a breath of fresh air for us. They were very much prepared for the move and came with a van, 3 guys to carry the weight and all the boxes and equipment they needed. Coast Movers were professional and very courteous. Overall, the moving experience was good. The guys were a few minutes early which I was thankful for and very pleasant. After originally scheduling the move, I was able to request an earlier time. The guys put together the furniture on the other end, and moved furniture around until I was happy were it was positioned. Two reasons I did not give five stars: the estimate was over the phone and the move took longer and was more expensive than expected. One item was broken, a small glass blown souvenir from Germany. We called JFS Transport to move our 2 bedroom apartment to a different unit in the complex. I explained to Jonathan that we had to go down a flight of stairs, up a hill and down another flight of stairs to get to the new unit. The two guys I paid for showed up with no truck (Which I thought was included with the cost of the movers). I was highly disappointed when they showed up and actually used their personal car to go back and forth with my boxes. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am sure they would have been able to move more items in the time allotted if they had brought a truck. The movers complained about having hangovers the whole time. read more
