This is a must if you need Physical Therapy! They are kind and patient with you and don't make it painful for you. They are always checking in with you to see how you are feeling and what is working and how they can help. I had a total knee replacement and was terrified to go to physical therapy well I'm having my next knee replacement and will be happily be going back. I was referred to San Clemente Physical Therapy for a frozen shoulder. I have thanked my doctor repeatedly for the referral - after 6 sessions, I am pain free and have full range of motion. the At Home Exercises they gave me to follow helped in my recovery as well - I am so grateful. I have received excellent care for my post-operative knee rehabilitation (ACL reconstruction surgery). Had 3 years of experience with different physical therapists prior to surgery, so I can say with confidence that the office staff and Physical therapists here are exceptionally knowledgable, very experienced, and very capable. They care about your questions, your concerns, and are centered on what the patient's needs and abilities are. I had a lot of built up anxiety for my 1st appt post-surgery and my PT sensed this without my even voicing this, they were so gentle and assuring in all the things we did and this has continued to be the case. read more

Sadly, I must issue this less than complimentary review but I am truly at my wits end. The issue is not with the actual services provided but with the subsequent billing that takes place. SCPT's billing office truly needs to get their stuff together. This office has contacted me no less than 4 times to collect on a co-pay of $35. which was paid at the time of service. I have provided copies of my receipts and bank statements more than once to prove without a doubt, that payment was made but continue to this day to receive past due notices for this same payment. I'm sure they're really busy and things happen but after numerous conversations and emailing documentation substantiating my payment, it still remains unresolved..... read more

I was referred by a friend who had previously utilized the office and I was not disappointed. From the minute I walked in the door until the last appointment I was treated with top notch service. The office staff was always quick to check me in, take me back to the therapist, where most days I was seen right on time. The PT aides were also super friendly and helpful to ensure I was doing my exercises correctly after seeing the therapist. I had been suffering with excruciating hip pain for some time and the therapist was able to relieve that pain, provide in home exercises for after therapy care and I can happily report I am a satisfied client. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for life changing results. read more

This review is long overdue. I have been putting off giving this negative review for sometime because I prefer not writing negative reviews but the billing department leaves me no choice. I came to this facility for physical therapy in late 2020. My issues where far from resolved after months of therapy. The main therapist was unfriendly and not very helpful when I asked her questions. The billing department is a mess, they don't explain what will be paid out of pocket until they hit you with the massive bill which by the way won't even bill correctly. Even after I paid them in full and they continue to bill me. Anyway this place was a waste of time and money and didn't resolve my problem. I went to my chiropractor and he fixed my issues within a few visits. Do yourself a favor and consider other options. read more

Excellent Physical Therapy! We've been bringing my elderly mother here for a few years now. She really gets an amazing level of attention and care here. I went to Dave following my knee replacement and loved the service and the staff!! For some weird reason, when I tried to call now to schedule a new appointment 10 years later they answered with "Can you Hold?" Multiple times..... Sorry San Clemente Physical Therapy, I'm just not feeling it. The wonderful and professional therapists aside, my concerns are specific to the chaotic nature of this very busy and very crowded space. In the two times I visited, I felt there wasn't room for me at the time of the appointment or that I was taking up a chair that someone else needed to use. With everyone in the same cramped space, I was never really at ease or relaxed. I was plugged into machines, stuck in a corner or side space and checked on by several people who were never really sure how long I had been there or how long I should be there. Suggestions would be to limit the number of people in therapy at any given moment, or find a bigger space if you want to fit so many appointments in at once. The copays are generally big, even on a PPO plan and for the price, I feel acupuncture or other personal care is just as viable and probably in a more inviting space. If you have a set therapy to perform, providing some consistency or expectations on what you are paying for and how long the treatment should be could go a long way for new patients like myself. I'm certain that regulars love this place and that they provide good care, I'm concerned that the money I'm spending isn't being applied against the service being given or isn't considered for those going deep out of pocket. Happy to reconsider if I happened to arrive on "busy days" or there was "an issue with scheduling". read more

I wrecked my arm after falling on it in a skating injury, my nerves in my arm, wrist, fingers & shoulder were so hurt, for 3 months I couldn't even move, then I started PT, & the staff worked on me with heat, ultrasound, massage, light doorway stretches. They were all very personable & kind & treated me like it was my first time there every time I went in, which was 2x a week. I slowly gained mobility & less pain, after they worked on me. They did Not stuff me in a corner & make me do exercises alone, like a lot of other places I went to. They were all so nice & thorough & helped me immensely . They also hired an arm specialist who helped me in the last couple of months, but the other people had helped me before her. You get what you give, so communicate what you are feeling & you will get the right care. I had my times at 1pm & it wasn't that crowded. I was in a private room anyway. I have an HMO & they pay with referrals. Just make sure you have a referral , call your insurance if you are unsure of your benefits. Thank You SCPT, I am back to skating again! read more

I was sent to San Clemente Physical Therapy after I had ACL repair surgery in May2017. I can't say enough about the Physical Therapist there that took care of me and helped me get thu this. They did everything with a smile. Each of the PT have several years if not decades of experience under their belts. They made my recovery easier with their expertise , advise, motivation and their warm professionalism. It's because of them I learned how to walk, step and bend again.. also most importantly regain Full Range of Motion in my knee. Dave and Staff did a great job post shoulder surgery. However was led to believe my medicare and secondary insurance would cover cost. In mid April received bill for therapy sessions in Dec 2016 and Jan 2017. Called billing to find that the sessions in Jan,Feb,Mar and Apr are yet to be sent adding up to hundreds of dollars. read more
