I signed up in Dec 2021, I had the grand tour by the general manager. She explained if I paid the membership fee of 50 something dollars that day, I would only pay $10 per visit-- as a special promotion (FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR). I went back finally in April to start my tan series...and I'm told sorry, we merged with another company and what we said before doesn't matter. I WAS DUKED...because I felt like she knew in Dec that they were merging and that there would be changes...now they want 19.00 each visit, but it doesn't matter- the company should have honored what i agreeed to because its the same NAME! AND THEY DIDNT GO OUT OF BUSINESS THEY MERGED. To be clear, UNDER THE $10...I WOULD HAVE VISITED 3X PER WEEK (I wanted to tan before the outdoor pool open in May) with $19 I would have went once per wk. I feel regardless if a company switches over (for example ) if your renting and agreed to what you are willing to pay per month and a new company takes over in the middle of your lease, you wouldn't expect the new company to raise your rent/mortgage in the middle of your prior agreement. duh, you would think it's unfair. The young lady called the manager (Karen?) and she said there's nothing she can do. I wish I read the reviews before signing up. I will NEVERRRRRRRRRR go back to this place. So, I would have given a higher rating because I really enjoyed the bed I was in today, #17. Yesterday was my first day here and the young lady was able to tell me a lot of information about lotions and beds. She tried to sell me the most expensive lotion for over $100; that didn't happen. I bought a year membership though. Today when I went to #17 I really liked the look of the bed as well as the results. Then.... I looked around and was displeased. The ceiling tiles look gross and the floor molding is coming off. This leads to a grungy looking business that is not maintained. Not happy with my first experience there; the price changed THREE times for the membership I asked about (called once & got one price, went in & got another price, & then that changed last minute). I was inquiring about the 3 month unlimited, non-contractual package. The employee I dealt with was not only awkward & seemingly annoyed by my presence ( *eye roll* teenagers...) but also painfully uneducated on the equipment & tried to lie about UVA/UVB ratios to up-sell me a higher end bed. Little did she know I managed a corporate tanning salon for years back in the day, so that was comical. Additionally, there was a slew of details she left out of the membership enrollment process so it was a surprise around every corner. I'm not a tanning addict but I do tan every once in a while to maintain my tan. You can't beat sun city tanning prices. The membership is for a year then after that the beds are only $5-15 per visit and they still have towels, stickers, & keep the place clean. Lotions are affordable, not a full bonus check like other places. I really tried to like the big corporate places like solar dimensions but I CAN'T wrap my head around paying more for a tan membership than my gym membership and monthly at that. Such a rip off. SCT still offers turbo beds and they keep up with changing the bed lights. If you really need beds that talk to you, spray water in your face ( which I find annoying) and play music ( I bring my own) then spend an extra $80 EVERY month then go for it, I'll keep it simple and reliable at sun city. Plus the staff there are all super friendly and sell you lotion you ask for or that meets your needs, not the most expensive to make commission. read more

I've been to many tanning salons and i have to say that this is the best. The customer service from everyone is phenomenal and the beds are always clean, i've never seen a bulb out and the overall look of the salon is great. It's inviting as soon as you walk in. They offer great deals and discounts on lotions and month-month tanning and also 10$ spray tans. Also everyone who works here is very knowledgeable in tanning and will set up a process for you so that you avoid burning and never leave uncomfortable. Thanks Sun City!! read more

Been a member for years. Usually spotless and friendly. Had to pay double for my membership this year because some ditz didn't remind me to renew when I was in last week. So, put your renewal date in your calendar. Thus, the poor review. Just bad customer service. read more

I signed up with this business because my national chain was temporarily inconvenient. I paid three times my regular membership figuring I could justify the expense with the reduced commute. This place was awful. Not only did I not get darker (something I normally do easily) I couldn't even maintain the tan I already had. I was always put in the same bed with bulbs that probably haven't been changed in months and their "guarantee" is worthless because they insist you use the facility at least 4 times a week something I never had to do before. Sun City tanning at Lawrenceville Suwanee has extremely poor maintenance issues ... I have been patronizing this facility for almost a year...consistently reporting the issues in the beds as I know them... for months they have had problems with their bronzer bed in room two ...to the point of having to reset the breaker frequently... i'm beginning to wonder if it's even safe... can't seem to get it repaired or get someone out... not sure what the issue is but it is going unrepaired...Now there are problems with bed 17 which is a 90% bed I am a VIPpackage holder to the tune of over $100 per month with(for the moment) facility as I said it's very poorly maintained they cannot get the bulbs necessary in bed 17 that has had multiple bulbs missing and now seems to be shorting out...as. Well ...multiple reports on the faultiness of equipment... two beds are really the only beds worth going in for proper tanning... both are faulty on a chronic basis... also takes multiple complaints just to get soap into the ladies room the maintenance of this facility is significantly suffering I will not continue to pay over $100 for things that I do not have access to that are in my package... and now it is coming into full season for tanning ...it's sad as I have watched this decline during my membership... read more
