He took his time showing me where the brakes were and how to gradually pull off and slow down! Highly recommend doing this activity! They didn't micro manage or anything. He did text us to see how we were making out and we appreciated the check in! Another time I had to reschedule. Now they don't normally do this but he did make an exception and apologized for the delay in their reply bc of my request to reschedule. I respected their guidelines and understood it but for him to go above and beyond to let us reschedule, showed us the professionalism of making their customers happy and satisfied with accommodating any customers request if it can be done. He did a wonderful job explaining the true roots and beliefs of Voodoo, as well as its place in New Orleans culture. I learned so much that I didn't know before. It's unfortunate that movies and media have given Voodoo such a negative image, because it's a genuine religion that deserves respect, just like any other. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the real culture and spiritual traditions of New Orleans.
