The general manager is wonderful!! He went above and beyond to make our experience renting a great one! We appreciated him and his staff making sure we were set picking up and dropping off. It rained a lot while we were there, luckily we packed rainsuits! We rode out to Abita on the causeway and took the bike a little around town. Reserved a Harley Road Glide 2 days before I arrived. When I showed up (right when they opened) bike was prepped and ready to go. Then we ran into an issue with the ignition not unlocking. So far, I'm happy I'm a member. After calculating, there has been a value for me and my experiences on two rentals from two different locations has been excellent. My only advice to Eaglerider! You need to have better expectation management on additional fees. Even though you have member credits, once all the fees are added, it's still a pretty significant daily rate. Good news: it's worth it. Bad news: The way you structure insurance "options" doesn't really make it an option at all. Some may see it as disingenuous. Also, be careful with specials! Sometimes being a member is more expensive as they sometimes don't offer lucrative specials to members?!?! I can't imagine why, but they don't in every case. read more

I went there to rent a Harley for the day. Well they didn't have any available at the time. I just asked about the scooters. It just so happened they were selling one and when I asked $$ I couldn't have imagined the price he told me. The estimate I had in my head was like 1500 range...so when he said 900 my credit card took some initiative and jumped out my wallet and into the man's hand. The rest you can guess. To get here, they have hotel pick ups but you could also take the street car up canal! Rental service was very nice. Contrary to the other review... these guys were cool with us. we called them and they had bikes, even knocked off 25 bucks since three of us wanted to rent at the same time. short cab ride to their shop and we are rolling. the only let down is it is a 24hour rental and they close at 5pm so you have to have it back by the same time you picked up the next day. other than that it was awesome! where else can you rent a harley and roll around southern LA for the day? read more

Every time I come to New Orleans my wife and I rent scooters. EagleRider makes it fast efficient and easy. You don't even need a motorcycle license and they spend the time with you to be sure you are safe on the bike. You can park on the sidewalks as long as you don't block drives, the sidewalk itself or ingress, egress of a building or business. Tooling around you get to see so much more than in a car. Just pull off and enjoy the scenery!! I just don't understand why it hasn't caught on. Everyone I passed asked how to rent one. Maybe the phone number needs to be bigger. This is one hell of a place. The staff are excellent. My reservation was met and the bike I reserved was available. I rented a Harley Davidson soft tail.. Excellent bike, very powerful. I originally wanted to ride to baton rogue but one of the staff members Told me that was a bad idea and gave us directions through the countryside with no stops and beautiful scenery. We arrived at a plantation, took a tour and then rode through the backwoods of the bayou on the way back, wow. This beats riding in NYC. read more

All of the Ruckus' are high quality and well maintained. There's a little bit bag under the seat they added for a little bit of storage. It's really for your helmet and a lock set. One of the least professional businesses I have experienced dealing with. I called them in the morning at around 8.30 am to rent some bicycles, and they say sure, no problem, they will have someone meet us at the Marriot Hotel on canal street at 9.30 am. We arrived at their kiosk at Marriot at the agree upon time and no one is there. We call them and they tell us they it will be at least another 45 minutes before anyone from their office can meet us to rent us the bikes. WTF !! Their excuse was that someone called in sick and that they were too busy at their main office to help us. No apologies, no effort to even work with us to remedy the issue. What was the point of giving us a meeting time, if you do not have any intentions of following through on it. We wasted most of that morning and being on a vacation, it was valuable time that we could have use to do something else. I understand that things come up, that is beyond one's control, but what was really upsetting was when we called them, they just blew us off, no apologies for not meeting us at a scheduled time they had established, no efforts to negotiate something that would work for the both of us, just pretty much gave us the impression, "to suck it up." These folks really run a unreliable business and are totally undependable, and they do not even come close to understanding the most basic elements of customer service. read more

First time I've ever rented a scooter. I've had a little time riding one but never like this. The outstanding customer service started before I arrived. I had checked out their web site prior to coming to town as a possible means to getting around. I found their web site very informative and easy to use. I was across town and tried another rental place but they required a credit card not a Debit credit card. I called and spoke to Charlene who said I could rent from them with my debit card. When I walked into the store Charlene greeted me warmly and with a smile. As I was registering for the rental the computer wasn't working right. Charlene was quick to fix the problem. She took the time to go through the paperwork, insurance, costs, upgrades etc. When it came time to get on the bike she was very thorough and complete with explaining everything. The bike was not new but only had 800 some miles on it. It was clean and well cared for. It was a great way for me to get around town (mid city) for several hours. I really enjoyed riding the scooter. Enough power to go but not too much to get hurt. Charlene had said they close at 5 PM and required returned be there 30 minutes before closing. Due to traffic I arrived at 4:45. They were in the middle of closing up. They stopped and without hesitation took care of my return no "come back tomorrow" and no extra fees! As I was leaving one of the guys ran out of the store to catch me an point me in the right direction to catch my trolley back to my hotel. I can not say enough good things about this great shop and the quality customer service I received. If i come back to town I will be renting a scooter from them again! read more

While I was there the guy behind the counter told me that they also ordered fairings and guaranteed the paint would match. Low and behold he got my fender and the paint matched! My friends and I rented scooters and it made our visit to NOLA so much more enjoyable. (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY) The scooters are easy to use and you catch on pretty quickly. **Head to my bio for footage of the experience.** They have scooter rentals for 24 hours or more if your need. For the most part we didn't have to bother with a lyft and an uber or the headache of parking at all the main hangout spots. I will warn you that they have a very strict policy in regards to damage on the bikes. Be very careful, Even a small scratch is considered damages and they will hold you at full responsibility for the payment of damages unless you get their insurance. All in all it was an amazing experience and I defiantly recommend this as the #1 form of transportation getting around New Orleans. read more

Horrible experience. We didn't get the bikes we reserved, which has happened in the past at other Eaglerider's but the models at this location were not even close to what we reserved. The bikes we did get were absolutely filthy. The interior of the shop was filthy and we just were not comfortable in the neighborhood the shop is in at all. The area was pretty bad and there is no parking at this location which was a problem for leaving the car due to it being on a parade route. It took way too long to get on the bikes and hit the road. read more

They offered to drop me off after the rental was done for no charge and were very good about handling every aspect of the rental.
