So far, I'm happy I'm a member. After calculating, there has been a value for me and my experiences on two rentals from two different locations has been excellent. My only advice to Eaglerider! You need to have better expectation management on additional fees. Even though you have member credits, once all the fees are added, it's still a pretty significant daily rate. Good news: it's worth it. Bad news: The way you structure insurance "options" doesn't really make it an option at all. Some may see it as disingenuous. Also, be careful with specials! Sometimes being a member is more expensive as they sometimes don't offer lucrative specials to members?!?! I can't imagine why, but they don't in every case.

First time renting a bike and it went seamlessly. Darren Was incredibly accommodating and generous with his time as well as his knowledge of all of the bikes. He set me up with a BMW 1200 R that was perfect. The service was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate coming back. Specifically ask for Darren as he was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful.

So for starters this place was absolutely so incredibly welcoming, me being a New Yorker in a new state... I'd go back just for the great conversation but in all seriousness it was an absolute pleasure renting a scooter from Al and Charlene... such sweet down to earth people and super accommodating. Quick and easy start up and everything was explained with zero questions, I will be back but next time I'm coming back with my motorcycle license... I hope you guys are as ready as I am because those scooters changed my life and liberated my soul!! Best way to view a city you've never been to, who needs an Uber when you can ride a scooter?

We rented a double seated scooter, I sat on the back and we zoomed across town, managed to see a whole lot in a one day period! Would do it again. To get here, they have hotel pick ups but you could also take the street car up canal! Rental service was very nice. I'm pregnant, most places have all these restrictions abot renting to pregnant women but they didn't have any issues. We'll be back!

    Awesome bikes for rent

I can't say enough! I procrastinated taking any course from anyone because of my anxiety and fear…read more I have zero motorcycle/dirt bike experience. The coaches made me feel safe, they helped me get out of my head, they kept us hydrated and checked on us physically and mentally. (The summer course wasn't impossible buuuuuut I do wish I had done it in cooler weather but that's not their fault, it's hot in the south). I even impressed myself with my abilities by the end of the weekend. The coaches (Angel, Mat and Joe) all kept us laughing through the heat and fear but also pushed us and gave us very non judgmental and valid feedback/adjustments. They are so good at telling you what will make you perform better and ALSO showing you how to do it until you do get it. They WANT you to pass and it shows. The environment they created makes me now eager to learn more and considering my options at future training. Who knew a state required class at the right place with the right people could make me totally change my perspective on the culture too? 15/10 recommend. I even had my son certified with them (he's 19) and the staff were excellent mentors for him as well. plus the whole track area is really cool and it makes us wanna rush back to do the go carting. Im also blown away that they took someone like me who won't even ride a bicycle with no hands and made me able to ride a 400cc motorcycle! I feel so good about myself and am proud to have completed and it's all because of how they teach.

My experience with Nola Riding Academy has been superb, and it has helped me tremendously. I went in eager to improve my technique to start decreasing my lap times, and Clint greatly helped me. I went for my second time the other day, and again had a fantastic experience. One thing that particularly stood out was the amount of track time I got for the low cost. For a cost that's a fraction of a track day of most tracks, I was able to ride at my leisure for four hours. I'm very excited to go back again!

Don't let the fear of failure discourage you from taking this course because there is much to gain regardless! Also, don't be intimidated by the Harley-Davidson brand; the staff are all super friendly and helpful!! The beginner's course is about $100 on weekdays and $200 on weekends. They're both 3-day courses (nearly all day each day) with day 1 in the classroom, day 2 on the range with hands-on practical skills training, and the last day reserved for the exams (written and practical skills). The time commitment is real, but it's very much worth it. If you pass the class, you will receive a certificate which will allow you to bypass the skills portion of the test at the DMV when you're seeking licensing. It also grants you discounts with your bike insurance! As someone who has never ridden a motorcycle (or even a dirt bike!), I had a lot to learn through this course. It's taught exactly for people like me with absolutely zero knowledge or experience with motorcycles. The instructor will go through every part of the handbook with you and clarify anything you may not understand. The handbook covers motorcycle operation, road safety, proper attire, and much more. Even if you are an experienced rider, I highly recommend taking this course anyway. You will absolutely benefit by learning new statistics, fine-tuning your riding skills, and gaining potentially new information about road safety and the specific kinds of awareness you should have as a bike rider. I have been driving a car for years, but I learned that the extra mindfulness you need to safely ride a motorcycle was on another level. Even while driving a car, I feel as though I have benefitted from the lessons. The instructors are thorough, friendly, and caring. However, that doesn't mean you'll breeze through it (especially if you're a new rider). They will spend extra time with you if needed, as time allows, but they need to stay on schedule for the sake of other students. I found the second day of hands-on learning to be challenging. As mentioned, I have no experience on a motorcycle at all. Plus, I am short in stature, which may have been a disadvantage, if not physically, at least for my confidence. I made it through about 80% of the practical lessons before I hit my plateau and couldn't keep up with the advancement in skills. At that point, I couldn't meet the objectives to move on to the next lesson, so I failed this course, but I do not regret taking this class at all. This was a perfect introduction to motorcycles and I know I need more practice. I plan to take it again a second time, and I feel I could probably pass next time! One thing to note, they never push you to buy their products while taking this course at all, so zero pressure to buy anything if you're not interested!

I was very hesitant to deal with this place because of all the really bad reviews. There are several good ones as well, but definitely more 1-2 star reviews than any company would want. Maybe they changed the staff up a bit, many of these complaints are older. I've worked in sales a while and have been to places where you walk in, nobody greets you, you wonder why am I considering giving this place money, think about leaving, 5 minutes go by, but you really need something so you deal with it and never return. I walked in and was greeted / started getting help looking at bikes within 1 minute. Waiting around to give someone my money is something I don't put up with. Overall it was a great experience and I would deal with them again, but there were a couple of small negatives which is the reason for only 4 stars. So you have the little sales area and then I dealt with a woman in a small office behind this area once I decided on the bike and filled out some basic paperwork. We were going over paperwork for the financing and I specifically asked about a warranty since it's only a 2015. I was told no warranty. Ok, maybe she thinks I mean the warranty from Suzuki so I ask about being able to purchase any type of warranty and was told there is no warranty at all available. This made me pretty nervous combined with the reviews I had read. I worried more about possible issues with the bike than I typically would have. I don't finalize everything then and return with a friend to take an extra look at it for me because I found it very strange a dealership would not offer any type of optional warranty. I return with my friend and spoke with Donald and an older gentleman who kind of came across like he might have been the owner. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I mention to him that because there was no warranty I wanted to come by and have my friend who has owned bikes for years to just start it up and take a quick look for me. He informs there is a warranty and gets me prices / print out to take home. 3 year warranty from a 3rd party company they deal with. This was great, I just wish I was told this at first and I could have saved that extra trip, but not a big deal. Two more small issues left. First is I thought the title & notary fees seemed a bit high. $210 notary / document fee and $113 registration / title charge. Everyone I spoke with said it seems a little high, but they also said that is going to be about the same pretty much anywhere because a lot of places raise the cost of these fees some to make their money. The notary one is what seems pretty high. Maybe it's a bunch of papers to be notarized and you pay for each one? Not a huge issue though because I was fine with the overall price. My final price with all taxes and fees was only about 100$ above the blue book. The last minor issue was the financing if your credit is not so great. They got me financed from this place in New Orleans that just gives out high interest loans all day. It didn't look like a typical bank, but the person I dealt with there was fantastic and got everything finished quickly. The only issue is that it would be nice if New Orleans Power Sports which is actually in Kenner and barely in Kenner, it's nearly in St. Charles Parish could handle all of this from their offices. Had to drive all the way to New Orleans without any information on interest rates or anything regarding the loan. It just happened to work out that this place is right by the VA Hospital and I had an appointment that day so it wasn't too bad. Remember the little "no warranty" issue? Well due to this I held off on signing for the financing while I was in New Orleans with the finance company. I just wanted to go and see how much the interest was and everything since I am going in completely blind. If that warranty issue had not happened I would have signed that same day, but I had to return back in a couple days to sign and finalize everything. These issues might sound larger than they are, but they weren't that big of issues in the grand scheme of things. I got the bike I wanted at a price I liked. I have payments + motorcycle insurance for only a year that cost less than what I use to pay just for car insurance liability. From the sales department to maintenance crew, everyone was friendly and helpful.

This seems to be a common sentiment reflected throughout many of the reviews. The staff…read moredemonstrated a lack of professionalism. Be sure to review the fine print carefully. And Bobby - I do not make threats; I follow through on my commitments.
