I…read morestarted at a branch close to my work, and was told that they could not help me at that time. I decided to contact the Monroe branch and spoke to Diego H. at that branch and he made an appt. with me, I met with him the next day and with 30 minutes he had my account re-opened, all set and was fantastic. He knew exactly what I needed, how to proceed, and had me out of there in 40 minutes (we chatted or I could have been done in 30 minutes). I was pleasantly surprised after being told by a banker at the other branch that the process would take two hours and to come back even though I had an appt there. He said he was really busy LOL. Diego was the best and I highly recommend the Monroe branch. The other two tellers there were also fantastic and very helpful.

I check back nearly a year later and they have suddenly started charging the account a service fee, leaving me with half of my balance than when I started. I made an appointment immediately to close the account, and sort out why I had been charged monthly fees when I was told that the account wouldn't be charged fees by two tellers, I never received any notification of the fee starting, and I have several other Chase accounts, in excellent standing for years and years... so why charge me on this account? I sat down with Benjamin who disregarded all of my concerns about not being notified, or being told that it was a fee free account by other employees, or that I am a customer of chase on other accounts, and he just kept trying to make petty small talk while seeing if he could reverse any of them. "Nope couldn't do it, but maybe I can do the last month or two... There you go. I mean you want that right? I can take it back!" (I wanted to walk out I was so pissed that he joked about taking the 1/10th he was going to refund, and take it back.) He refunded me $24 of the $200+ they took in fees. Is it my job to have to advocate for myself at this bank? I should have told him to get me in touch with someone that could gets all those fees refunded. I felt so disrespected by the jokes or whatever Benjamin thought he was doing. I'm going to be cancelling my other accounts and credit cards. I don't want to be associated with this business.

DONT EVER USE THIS BANK!!! They will just waste your time and money. Jessica Bowman, the branch…read moremanager, is a crook and completely inept. Herself and the bank representatives such as Dennis Zender have no idea how to communicate efficiently and effectively but they do know how to take money I can tell you that. We started our journey the beginning of June by making an appointment to meet in person. They set us up for an appointment with the branch manager Jessica for the following week. We met with her in person on June 13th and discussed the property in question We showed her MLS showed her the parcel number and information on the county site, informed her the property was 43 acres, zoned Forestry, no utilities but power at the street. We tell her the surrounding neighbors have been getting well quotes anywhere from $22-48k, we told her our overall plan for the property, everythinnnng. She told us everything should be fine as long as there is power at the street but that she was going to verify with another rep and get back to us tomorrow and that in the meantime we had to finish our application. We finish our application and still haven't hear from her days later, that Friday we get a "Hi I'm Jessica, what kind of house are you looking for what area..." email. I immediately call her, she completely forgets who we are and then says ohhhh yahhhh, what was that property address again I'll let you know by Monday. SHOCKER, Monday comes around and she doesn't call us. I give her time thinking, I'm busy at my job so I'm sure she is too, Friday comes around and I call, she is not in the office but they will send her a message to call me... nothing. The next week we out of the blue get an approval letter, we were so excited. The next week once our realtor was back from vacation I called to confirm it was true, again, she wasn't in the office and they will send her a message to call me. 10 minutes later Blair, banker, calls and says it is true we are approved. I asked to make sure we can proceed on the property in question, she says yes. I ask if 30 day contingency with 45 close was ok she says yes, as soon as we have mutual acceptance we just let them know. Days later we have mutual acceptance, mind you we are in July now. We set up earnest money and then start the leg work. Taking time off work, leaving work early, performing wetland survey, talking with the assessors and zoning dept, meeting with ecologists, talking with contractors. ALL things to get us to closing. Middle of July we get a random email from Jessica, who we have not heard from since mid June, telling us we need home owners insurance, kind of confused as it's raw land I respond asking who she suggests? No response. I email Blair, she tells us we don't need it because it's raw land and she doesn't know what Jessica's talking about, so we move on. My realtor had been in contact with Blair for the appraisal, she tells my realtor that she couldn't find it so instead of calling anyone she turned back to the office. Mind you, the property is very easy to find! Fast forward through this disaster, 7 weeks of work days away before contingency is over and weeks before closing, July 31st we get an email from Jessica right before the bank closed with a loan denial letter. IM SORRY WHAT??! Jessica has no idea her job correctly and has appalling communication skills. She falsified information, lied to our faces and then put us in financial harm but of course had no problem running our credit. She got a lovely email for this too and again... no response. My realtor called and she refused to talk to her and Blair refused to give the district reps information so we had to do our own digging, don't worry we got it. 2 days later I get a call from the souther regional manager Chris, who informs me they DON'T LOAN ON FORESTRY LAND NOR OVER 40 ACRES AND WELL NEEDS TO BE ON THE PROPERTY!!! I am floored, absolutely dragged through the mud. Jessica is a poor excuse for a loan officer, she is incompetent and doesn't deserve to be in this business. We will NEVER suggest anyone to EVER use this bank none the less this branch. You want property? Call AgWest they are fantastic
